Good is always great when I visit here but I hate the new menu. I loved the onions that long John silvers used to carry on the menu.

Tried out Long John after many years of not going. I don’t normally give bad reviews, but this place deserves it. The staff is so disorganized and the place inside is in sad shape. I ordered 2 piece fish and slaw and that took 33 minutes to get. No ice in the soda machine, tiles falling off the ceiling above the soda and condiment area. There was only 1 couple there when I arrived so this was not due to being busy. Listening to the staff chatter while waiting provides plenty of insight. Manager/leader is just a worker and no one is leading. She ended up arguing with the older couple in front of me that simply said they were disappointed it took 25 minutes for their food. The manager not only argued with the customer stating they were told when they arrived it was a 25 minute wait. They were not and neither was I, but she not only argued with the older gentleman, she continued her rude comments about the man to her staff that I could easily hear from the dinning area. I was embarrassed for how he was treated. People were coming in from drive thru stating they were sitting out there waiting. The manger told them they were told as well, etc. However, they quickly got that person’s order which had to have been placed after those of us inside. The issue is they gave an $80 order to the wrong person in the drive through by mistake and it forced them to shove all orders back. I can accept that, but simply come out and tell everyone (all 3 of us) and apologize. Don’t argue with customers and basically call them liars because you think your staff told them something. Maybe give them a free cheese cake or something. You had 3 sets of customers and you pissed them all off over your reactions. The girl who had just showed up and was bringing out the food felt terrible and was very pleasant to the customer. She deserves a raise and everyone else working that shift needs to be retrained or recycled. It’s been 10 years since I had tried this place and now I remember why. In the end the food was not very good, Cole slaw tasted funny and I did not eat it and 1 of my 2 fish was not fully cooked. I ate 1 piece of fish and drank a soda after waiting over 35 minutes. Do better or just close down!

Amazing team! We ordered smoothly and quickly. Then we could hear the team all communicating over what needs to be done. Our food was amazing. Then when they got done with being busy, we heard someone telling them great team work in the back. That is something you don't hear much of. Keep up the great work!

The Pepsi was empty. The food was greasy. It cost over 30 dollars and won't go back. They need to change the deep fry oil. It was awful. From the drinks to the food

The girl taking orders had long black dreads past her waist flapping around everywhere while preparing and serving food. She messed up our order, then only brought one plate when we had ordered two. I watched and listened to her argue with the manager about her hair complaining that she can't tie it back cause it gives her a headache and calling the other manager a troll and that her hair was too ugly to be complaining about her dreads. The quality of the food was poor. It was more batter than food. The shrimp were undercooked. The fish was ok but crumbs from the fried batter were included in our plates. The bathroom was not clean. This location failed in every possible way and I cannot imagine going back anytime soon. The employees should be hygienic and respectful. This location is a sad representation of the franchise.

It used to be combined with an A&W and much better. There is an odor of sewage or something spoiling. The restroom was terrible, no paper towels in dispenser and filthy. Service was slower than catching your own fish and the cole slaw was in big pieces instead of how it used to be in shreds.

Definitely save your money. Ordered a 15pc shrimp, lobster bites and a 3 piece chicken dinner. Fries were subpar and tasted not just cooked too long but was old. Shrimp and lobster were overdone as well and obviously the oil was very old and fryers haven’t been changed and cleaned in a long time as there was black sentiment on all the items ordered. Definitely not the restaurant I remember and definitely not the quality I remember. Never going back. Save your money and go get seafood somewhere else

Me and my parents went there to eat I was actually excited because I had not been there since I was a teenager! (We live out of town) To my excitement the place was just as I remembered. Great decor, same smell, honestly it hit all my senses hard... except for taste...
:( The crew was awesome but clearly overworked and understaffed. We waited about 15 minutes at the register even though there was no line. Once we got seen we put in a decent sized order for three. It was about another 15-20 min wait to get called. Which was fine until we got the food back to the table. Our fish was way over cooked yet somehow cold. Our fries were already a disappointment because they got rid of their original fries for some very plain and unoriginal waffle fries... Which were so cold that it was like eating cardboard... But the win was that the hush puppies were so on point that I looked right past everything else because that was what I wanted most. So all In all if they get more staff I would try again because they were just so busy with the drive through and the online orders that it damaged the dine in experience... Not giving up yet will post again if I go again and it's dramatically better...
