Carmel cake with carmel icing: Special order...it was delicious. Cake moist and icing had perfect amount of carmel flavor great addition to the cake. Staff was very helpful when ordering and picking up the cake. Thank you. Will recommend this shoppe.

We ordered a cake for our sisters graduation. The cake was dry and the icing was stale and crumbled and collapsed when the fork touched it. Always been a favorite for all family events. Doesn’t taste fresh and luxurious like it used to.

Mammaw’s dis my daughter’s wedding cake and it was delicious. We also ordered two sheet cakes and they were delicious as well. I would recommend using Mammaw’s for your wedding. It was a great experience and they accommodated us as our original baker went missing in action.

We went with Mammaw’s since it’s our absolute favorite, especially the white wedding cake. Cake stays moist for 3 weeks, seriously the best!

The cupcakes are amazing!

I ordered a vegan chocolate cake for my sister's birthday. It was delicious and super moist despite it being 2 days between me picking it up and serving it. It's a little pricey but it's well worth it.

I called to order birthday cookies for my daughter. The girl on the phone was so rude. I had never ordered from there and didn't know their process and she talked to me like I was an idiot/child.I ended up telling her I would call and order from someone else because of the way she was talking to me. Very disappointing from what I have heard is a seasoned business. No customer service = no patronage for me!!!!

I had a mishap on Friday with a cake I had purchased for my daughter’s 24th birthday and found myself in quite a bind because we were going to have a little party for her at the Purdue tailgate the next day. Yes, I could have just picked up a generic bakery store cake, but my daughter always celebrated her birthday with my mom who passed away a few months ago, and we wanted to commemorate her birthday as well, so I wanted to have an angel on the cake and have the cake decorated in bright yellow, which was my mom’s favorite color. I called a couple of places in Indianapolis, which is where I live, with no luck. It was then I decided to just Google bakeries in Lafayette and I came across Mammaw’s Sweet Shop. I called and shared my story with Natalie on Friday afternoon around 1 PM and though they typically require a 72-hour notice, after hearing my plight, she very graciously agreed to do the cake for me and my husband picked up a beautiful medium sheet cake at 10 AM Saturday morning, and it was everything I had hoped for and more. Aside from it being decorated just perfectly, the cake and icing were both amazing! We went through just about that entire cake and I can’t tell you all the comments we got on how flavorful and moist the cake was, and how perfect the icing was. I now know that when I am getting any cake for future Purdue tailgates, I have to look no further than Mammaw’s Sweet Shop! THANK YOU Natalie for everything you did for me, and by extension, my daughter. You have no idea how much I appreciated it. ❤️
