I’m writing this about a very recent experience I had visiting this place. My wife had asked me to go to Mary Lou‘s donuts for two cream horns for breakfast. I wanted to get a cup of coffee so I agreed. On entering the store there was nobody there but the workers. Three ladies were behind the counter And one young man wandering around the store. I walked up to the counter and waited for someone to address me and ask me what I would like. I must’ve stood there for three full minutes with the three ladies basically ignoring me. Nobody said hi, nobody greeted me, nobody asked me what I would like, or even to say, we’ll be with you in a minute. That was a very uncomfortable feeling. At that point, I almost walked out. I wish I would’ve. Finally, the young man that was walking around, came behind the counter, where the three ladies we’re still, and asked if I would like a bag or a box. At that point I decided that I would get what I came for and leave. It’s questionable if I am ever going go back there again. That was a very uncomfortable feeling. It was strange that they were obviously workers there, and I understand that they could’ve been doing other tasks. But nobody greeted me. Nobody said hello. Nobody said will be with you in a second. It was just uncomfortable standing there Like I wasn’t supposed to be there.

First time here this morning, and the donuts were so fresh, and delicious. I will definitely be back.

This was my favorite place to get doughnuts. I couldn’t wait as a kid for my Great Aunt to have them when I came to visit. Lately they just seem over produced and like there is no care in me even reviving the doughnut that I ask for and pay for. I usually prefer the round iced with the fluffy middle. Some days I get it and it doesn’t even have the fluff , like today

Love coming here with my partner as we share the donuts we eat, super cheap and tasty especially with the diversity as well as local outreach as well. Definitely need to come back sometime!

Not fresh anymore seems to be cooked the day before or something just not the same as it use to be ever since they sold out ..it's ashame to see it go bad it use to be the best around I'd rather go spend my money at a gas station and get a gas station donut just saying... you might want to go back to the old way of making the donuts because they are awful now ...

I eat something like 1 donut in a 10 year span of time. So when I decide to go for it, I want something worthy of the sugar and calories. Mary Lou Donuts makes the cut.

Every morning the donuts seem to be made a little different. Only place like this. Love it!

Got a dozen doughnuts from them a few days ago and have been sick to my stomach ever since. The doughnuts weren't very good either. They did not taste fresh, the filling was too sweet like icing, and their doughnut selection was basic. Not worth it unless you want dry doughnuts and gastrointestinal issues for days.

My friend told me about Mary Lou’s. She was in Lafayette and brought my family some donuts to try! They were fresh and delicious! I am sad I did not know of Mary Lou’s when I attended Purdue! We will definitely visit when we are in the area!

So went in there 2 weeks ago and got half a dozen doughnuts they charged me 57.47 cents and I even hat tipped and have just been giving me the rin around every since terrible service should have just gave me cash back at this point but apparently they don't car about ripping someone off though mom a pop places like this took care of there people but loosing a lifetime customer and someone who actually would tell people to try em for 47 dollars vus they must be hurting I guess but I'll see tommorow when I speak to the manager again but unless you want a surprise when you see ur receipt don't got here and tht is the receipt they sent saying the never charged me either scamming unprofessional or incompetent or maybe a bit of all
