The custard is pretty good, but the service is always terrible. Attitudes are horrible. And your order is most likely not going to be correct 90% of the time.

Every time I’m in Lafayette I make sure to pay a visit at the igloo, there’s a couple locations. Lots of summer nights with loved ones for some ice cream were spent here. My all time favorite would have to be a marshmallow vanilla (sometimes cherry too) COKE!!

Well this was an interesting experience, i got a simple cheeseburger and fries and a rootbeer, i then proceeded to watch 7 people including my co worker get his food before me, then waiting anther 30 minutes asked for an update on my i believe very simple order, and was told almost done, then waited anther 15-20 minutes, to then have to tell the lady (which wasn’t the cook so not mad at her) that i don’t have time to wait any longer.
But for 13 bucks this rootbeer is pretty good. PS: cracks needles in trash can ?
PSS: also wasn’t offered a refund ?

The ice cream here is amazing! Prices are not too bad if you get the small. But the large doesn't give you as much value. Not enough bigger than the small. The outdoor sitting area is extremely dirty though. Desperately needs a clean.

My boyfriend and I tried to go here for ice cream. We checked online, and it said that they were open until 9 pm. We arrived at 8:45, and the workers were still there but the lights were off. We went up to the window to double check, and two girls were inside but ignored us. They clearly worked there and had grabbed themselves drinks for the road after their shift. There were probably 4 girls working in total and no one spoke to us or anything. I understand that we went there close to close and if they had said “Sorry, we’re closed” I wouldn’t have given it much though, but I was unpleasantly surprised at the rude behavior. Would not recommend.

We paid 14 dollars for two small sundaes. If they'd at least been tasty, while still expensive, it would have been ok. They were out of butterscotch, the hot fudge tasted just like fake chocolate sauce, the customer service was just ok, and the tables were dirty. Not to mention that it was a really small portion.
Never again.

Always one of my go-to places when in the GLA. You have to try the custard or get some of the Fruit Drink.

i’ll start off by saying this location and the others have different owners, and it shows. customer service has always been kind of poor whenever i come here. one time, customers were just being completely ignored because everyone was busy singing and messing around in the back, and when someone finally attended to me she was visibly annoyed. today, when we went to get our ice cream, it was already melted as if it had been sitting out. it isn’t even hot. the outdoor seating area is also absolutely trashed. there are cups, bowls, and other trash scattered everywhere. this location is the closest to where i live, but i much prefer driving to the other ones off veterans.

We had to come here because Columbian Park has no food of their own and Arnis pizza is closed in Monday. I ordered popcorn chicken and two corn dogs for myself and my kids. Imagine my surprise when I opened my chicken, that I paid $7.50 for, and only had 7 pieces. This is not worth $1 per piece. I feel absolutely ripped off.
