My son is moderately mentally handicapped and we got water. But when he went to get more water. he didn't know which one to push so he accidentally got lemonade and me his mother being an honest person went and told the person working and she charged me for it . Unbelievable just a little lemonade . After I had already paid 28 dollars and something for a large pizza. Which said on the menu 22 dollars. She kind of got rude when I tried to explain that he didn't mean to get the lemonade which was right by the water. I just think she could have had a little more compassion.
Growing up in Anderson, IN, Pizza King has been a long time favorite! Every time I go home, I stop at any of the locations and have the best food and great times with friends. My husband, who is from Chicago, has never been a fan of our Indiana style pizza. However, on a recent trip to Lafayette, he decided to give it one more chance.
We stopped in at the Creasy location in Lafayette. We were the only ones there. This location is definitely designed different. It doesn't have the red "Ring the King" phones on the tables. If you sit at a booth, there's a way to order, but there is no red phone. If you sit at a table, you have to order at the window. I was willing to let all of that slide.
I was looking to order The Feast, but after studying the menu realized it was renamed to The Deluxe. Ok...that's fine. I placed my pizza order with 2 sides of breadsticks and drinks for my family. A few minutes later, the breadsticks were brought over. Something about them didn't seem right and they were served with melted cheese. When I order it back in Anderson, it is served with cheese AND marinara. My daughter went to the window to request a side of marinara and was told it would be an extra $2.25. Um, huh? The manager said "I'm sorry. I don't make the prices." Ridiculous!
Later, someone gave us tiny paper plates (pictured). What happened to regular plates and regular silverware? The pizza was brought out on a lunch tray (pictured). What in the world??? THE PIZZA TASTED FINE, but everything else about the experience was simply awful! And, to top it off, we had to bus our own table!!! My teenage kids were devastated. This is not anything like our experiences when we visit "home" (Anderson).
I will NEVER return to this location! And, I'm also upset because I will probably NEVER convince my husband to step foot inside a Pizza King ever again!
**Sorry that the picture has half eaten pizza, but it was at that moment that I decided I was upset enough to write a review.**

Made my food wrong and then try to blame it on me...
The manager was a girl that was very rude and disrespectful..... I will never go back there again
Update. Nobody answerers the phone. Just a recording to go online to order. No personal service. With Arnis nearby go there instead. Never going here again. What has happened to proper customer service?

Got carryout pizza last night and my father, husband and myself got very ill from the pizza. It was almost the point of going to the ER. We've gotten food in the past from there and never had this problem. I believe it was the mushrooms this time on the pizza. I doubt I'll get any refund or sorry from there.. just beware ordering!

Went to Pizza King last night to get a pizza for me and my granddaughters. My granddaughter got very ill and we had to rush her to the e. R, so we didn't get to eat our pizza. So we decide to eat an early dinner the next night so that we could eat our dinner. I found a pubic. Hair in my pizza I called. I did not even want a refund. I was just gonna get another pizza. But the girl that I spoke with didn't want to help me. So I asked for The owner's name and phone number. All she gave me was the name and then put another woman on. Who said she was the manager who that's who I thought I was talking with the first time, cause she said she was a manager long story short. This lady didn't want to help me at all. Because she thought I just wanted my money back in because I bought my pizza. The night before they weren't going to do anything. She is very rude and it was very uncalled for called me a liar. I'm just don't know what to say I just don't know what to say how anybody could treat anybody like that. A pubic hair in your food is a health issue and they don't even care. They didn't care. That's what's so sad and I could have said this to my grandchildren. Never again. Will I go back there This was pizza king on creasey lane

Last time I went with 2 others we waited at our table. We could hear 3 people in the kitchen area talking and laughing but no one came out to get our order. We were the only 3 in there. We got up and left. Not going back.
