Cashier shows no interest in helping. Majority of food is expired and they still sell. Try to avoid shopping here it’s not great.

This is the strangest restaurant in Lafayette. The tacos are the best in town. And I really mean that. If I want tacos, I think of this place. They're filled with plentiful meat, cilantro, onion, double corn tortilla that is usually firmed up a bit on the griddle. Great seasoning but also the green sauce is splendid. Not hot, but flavor is muy bueno. On the flip side, it's probably the dumpiest dining room in town - there is a literal hole in the wall. Guess since you have to walk through a grocery store to get there shouldn't be shocked. The guys who work back there speak some, but not a lot of English. So don't expect to special order unless you know Spanish. If you're in it for the food and couldn't care less about the setting, this is a top notch taco place.

Some of the most authentic Hispanic food I have had, with big portions, all for a cheap price. Can't complain.

Although it has certain things that are harder to find than in a normal grocery store, the general look and feel of things is old and abandoned. Too sad, as my expectations were to find a cute and picturesque store as those often found in small Mexican towns (I’m Mexican and I can assure you’ll find way better products in one of those places than in this store).

Bugs in their food. Don't eat there. You can look at all the violations they have throught the health department.

Another hidden gem, this is really hidden inside of a grocery store lol. We were in the area and stopped by to pick up some ingredients for home and noticed they had a little restaurant inside. Definitely authentic Mexican food and affordable. Food looked so good we forgot to take picture and dove right in. $20 for 2 tortas, 3 tacos, and 2 drinks. (Alot cheaper than fast food and ALOT better taste). Definitely keeping this place in mind next time in the Lafayette area.
My daughter was looking for a specific item so we stopped in for a quick purchase, but of what I did see, they have about any product you would need to fix authentic Mexican food. Although the store is small, the selection is huge. I got a glance at their meat counter and it was impressive, I'll be going back soon once I have a little more time to shop around in there.

They are thieves. They steal shrimps from the 4 lbs shrimps pack farm raised then they flip the pack over. When you flip it back, you will see the missing shrimps. Shame on you.
