This place must be hurt for money. A $16 fast food meal is crazy enough but, to add insult to injury, I've never seen a fast food place put so much ice in my drink. I think I may have gotten 3 drinks out of a large size cup. AND, they virtually begged me to donate a dollar and get a "free" apple pie only for it to have paper stuck to the bottom of it!

The ratings really kills a business, however this location is really nice, the service is fast the food is hot and fresh, and there's lots of seating, the main dining area is really loud with Echo voices but they have a side aisle it goes back to the restrooms with tables along that aisle, really nice and quiet, probably the best Popeyes I've been to yet
I went through the drive through and spent almost $80 including for one of their family meals with the 3 sides, 2 extra sandwiches and their Oreo cheesecakes. My whole entire family got sick from this food immediately after eating it. The cheesecake that we received was expired and only 1 person ate the cheese cake, I don’t know what was wrong with this food, I asked for a refund however at the time the employee did not give me receive a receipt for my food through the drive thru, the general manager told me it’s going to be hard and they have to get it approved by the district manager to give me a refund, I would not suggest this to anyone and this was my first time going here. Also not to mention it was the rudest customer service I received when getting my food. Also they don’t give out refunds only offer you new food, I don’t want food from here anymore after it made me sick.

Waited for 15 mins to out order taken. Then waited 30 mins to get our food. The employees were too busy playing around with each other. When we finally do get our food it was luke warm a best. The restaurant itself was filthy. They were not busy at all. Everyone was blaming others for not doing there job but of course didn't try to clean either. The manager was too busy flirting with his employees to worry about the state of the restaurant or food service.

Despite the reviews I still went to really see how bad this place was. When I got there the place was nice and clean NO rude employees, and the food was the best fried chicken I have ever had. Don’t listen to the reviews there NOT telling the truth.Kid-friendliness: The employees were also VERY kind to the kids definitely need to go here again.

Love Popeyes chicken. Great food, place and service.
So after many years of loving Popeyes all over last when I found out there where building two locations in Lafayette I was pretty happy but after seeing in empty all the time and reading reviews I never went. But today I told my wife and 4 year old daughter. And I must say one of the cleanest I’ve even been to it was empty so I was still on the fence but the service was great and the food was halot and great my daughter loved it and she is very picky. After making a call to family we placed a 50$ to go for them also
