My family and I stopped in recently whilst in town to celebrate our daughter’s 19th birthday. Da birthday girl and her boyfriend both ordered chicken n’ waffles. My youngest son had a buffalo chicken sandwich. My wife got the Monte Cristo. I wasn’t COUNTing on her to order the Monte Cristo!!!! If you didn’t get that Alexandre Dumas joke, I suggest you pick up a book for once in your life. I had the country breakfast, which consisted of eggs and bacon and breakfast potatoes...
Was concerned given disparity of recent reviews of this would be hit or miss. Definitely a hit. Salad and sandwiches, all good and extremely fast. Service was great and attentive to our needs and feedback. We didn't have time for pies which looked wonderful but picked up cinnamon rolls and muffins for the next day. Surprised by small bill put the icing on the cake. Positive experience through and through.
Would love to love this place, but both booths and tables are falling apart. We were sat in a booth that had layers upon layers of tape trying to hold the seat together. Didn’t work too well because I had vinyl cutting into my legs. My husbands omelet tasted like there was sour cream in it? Turns out it was something spoiled. He spent the next couple days with an upset stomach. And if it’s even remotely hot outside…. the restaurant is uncomfortably warm. The service...
