Very unclean not one table or the floors was cleaned we asked for them to clean a table no one was willing to do so, so I asked for a rag and did it myself! I wouldn’t have done this if my order hadn’t been placed already!

This specific Steak ‘n Shake is the worst. Management is trash if they mess up they just argue that you’re wrong and hang up on you. They mess up our food every single time but it’s closest to us so we always hope it will be better but it’s not worth your time. Tonight the manager Jada hung up because I called to let them know they forgot half our order after my husband went through the drive through and came home without checking the bag, they never give a receipt in the drive through and won’t fix an order without one. I never make poor reviews but this was ridiculous. She also refused to give me her name or corporate info so I had to have my husband call to ask for a managers name. Do better.

This place has devolved into the worst fast food in Lafayette. Ordering through a kiosk is fine, but what the charge for their food makes just about any other FF joint a better deal.
The bathroom is on a whole extra level of yuck. There are truck stops that keep it cleaner.

Both my wife and I got burgers, but the meat didn't taste like it had been cooked long enough to reach temperature or even become seared. First time that I have gotten something before arriving at my daughters who recently moved to Lafayette. Will likely not return to this location for a long time, there are to many dependable options in that area.

This place is located right off the interstate. It was not busy when we arrived. Ordering was easy on the kiosk. Food came out in a reasonable time but certainly not fast. Our burgers and shakes were okay. The soda fountain is timed, you have to scan your receipt and 1 refill allowed.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME on this one! I went inside for the first time about 4 years with my Dad is a disabled Vietnam veteran with difficutly standing and had to order and pay from a kiosk for simple "regular" (only size offered) coffee that was the size of a coffee cup and stood there for about five minutes waiting until I seen some scanner thing by the drink machine and scanned a bar code from the reciept. I then asked one of the employees about the coffee and if they got the order. The cook said it doesn't come acrossed her screen, another employee said someone else has to make it and then tells me that he has two to three "food" orders to make first before making the "regular" sized coffee. Finally after waiting about 15 to 20 minutes someone brings out a "regular" size coffee cup which was just that, a "cup" worth of coffee. REDICULOUS! Who the heck is training these children age employees? That person should be fired immediately because obviously they don't care about customer service or doesn't know how to work in "fast food" restraunt themselves and left up to train others!!! ZERO STAR RATING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE but the place looks nice and the concept is kind of cool so I would give that a 3 to 4 star rating. Just don't have people to properly run the concept properly!

There is no "service" anymore. You order and pay at a Kiosk. You scan a QR Code for a soda. The only human interaction is if there is something wrong (They forgot the cheese on my cheese fries).
My burger, ordered WITHOUT onions, tasted like onions.
This is not Steak 'n Shake I was expecting/wanting the entire 900 mile drive to Indiana (for a funeral, not a burger).
