Teays River Brewing & Public House

Took an hour and a half just to get my salad and food. They weren't even that busy. The waiter was rude. Don't recommend eating here. Go somewhere else.

Brisket was terrible….

By far the worst establishment in Lafayette. The waitress was rude and racist. The owner was even more rude when it was brought to their attention. Do not recommend going here. They spit in your drinks.

Good beverage/beer selection, mostly pub food, some vegetarian options. Food was okay. Its overall sweet and under-seasoned. Burger seems to be the safest choice there. Spacious for big group and happy hour. Don't sit too close to the kitchen if you don't want it to be kinda warm.

The green beans were great. The macaroni and cheese tasted like slightly warm cream cheese. The chicken was alright but did include a bone.
The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was nice.
The food was overpriced for the quality. The menu was only one page.

Some friends and I went to dinner at Teays River this evening. We got right in and got seated. A friend and I shared the Sampler platter, which had wings, pulled pork, brisket, cornbread, sweet potato fries and dip, etc. All of the food was excellent. If you're looking for a quiet place to dine, this isn't it. But the service was good and the food was delicious. I will definitely go back there again. I recommend it for the quality of the food. Also, there are plenty of choices on the menu.

We eat here often. Always great food and service. Today, not so much. After waiting an extended period of time to be waited on by a gentlemen. We ordered drinks, was going to order an app but he took off. Brought back the drinks with the exception of my beer. After another 2 or 3 minutes while we watched our server clean tables and go in the back in the kitchen a few times we thought eventually he was on his way to get my beer. Nope around the corner on the other side wiping down tables. Decided to go across the street and spend my money. Could’ve been the end of the shift and he was pissed another table of 4 walked in at 1:20? Can’t expect great service every time. We will be back. At least the food has been great every time

Terrible water, mediorce jambalaya, meh fries, and unimpressed with the Brussel sprouts. Just overall was an experience that made me go yup not coming back anytime soon after i will get a shot.

We were looking for some good brews & burgers after a day of hiking at Turkey Run! We found exactly that here at Teays! Our server was attentive, the food was delicious, and the day was perfect for some patio sitting!

I was recommended the Beer burger and was not disappointed! The meat was slightly over cooked and quite messy! Dog friendly! Lots of sitting.

I liked that they have 3 sections. Outdoor, indoor and bar, open and nice interior design. Food is good. Some items were just a little salty for my taste, but it's good. The waiter was attending a couple of big parties, so we was somehow slow with our drinks. I had the personal pizza and it was great. Definitively would come back to try something else for the menu and craft beers.

Our group had a great time at Teays. The atmosphere was very clean and hospitable. The service was great! Reed did a great job of taking care of our table and providing us with a welcoming experience. The food was delicious for everyone! We had bread with beer cheese as an appetizer. It was my first time trying beer cheese and it was enjoyable. I had the smoked bourbon mustard chicken wings with fries. The wings were a definite winner. I had bourbon carmell apple crisp for dessert with a scoop of ice cream. It was perfect to finish off the lunch. They also have a really cool brewery. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.
