NOW I'M GOING TO BE HONEST WHEN IT COMES TO NEW PLACES. SMOKIN' E'S I WENT TO YESTERDAY FOR THE FIRST TIME AND I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED.. THE RIB TIPS WERE TENDER, FALLING OF THE THE BONES. WAS NOT OVER SEASONED, JUST COOKED RIGHT! WHOEVER THE NICE LADY I SPOKE TO THAT TOOK MY ORDER, SHE WAS SO NICE AND I LIKE THAT! I WILL BE BACK.. IF YOU HAVEN'T GONE, TRY THEM OUT. I REALLY DON'T THINK YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED..

Award winning is not a misprint. This is some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had in my life. Smokin E’s catered our Ironworkers golf outing this weekend and was absolutely AMAZING!!! It was still amazing the next day reheated in my microwave!!! Do yourself a huge favor and visit them, you won’t be sorry!!!
everthing is so amazing... got the smok e toe and spoon bread...omg I'm in heaven lol Definitely worth the stop... by the dq in lake station... easy to miss was talking to the owner the go to BBQ competitions sometimes on Saturdays so best to call ahead.

This is privately owned, with the hospitality and quality food to match!! I have a few allergens and the owner met every standard to make sure, not only that I was safe, but that I had food to eat so that I can be full, too! She was very kind and the food was absolutely delicious. There was room for my boy to run around while waiting for it to be prepared. We had brisket, baked beans, some fries, and their homemade sausage! Each one was finger lickin good! We are traveling but will share with those that we meet and our family in Indiana 😁
