I stopped in yesterday afternoon for a to-go order and was not disappointed 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼I tried a carnitas taco and al pastor taco. Both were delicious. I also had a small guacamole, more like pico de gallo than guacamole but oh well! I will definitely return next time I’m in the area. Andrea was very pleasant and super friendly.

we used to love coming to Taco Station, however it has gone down hill. went last night. the owner is still sitting in her chair talking on the phone. the 1 waitress who admitted that she was sick and even stayed home from school. ewe. The smoke doctors are still beeping from over a month ago. the basement door was wide open with lights on and supplies all over the floor. Asked for a specific taco to try, and immediately told No, we don't have it and we can't sell it separate. Turned out disgusting. Also, side note. ordered Guacamole every time, still has nit improved. it was all cilantro, tomato and massive onion chunks, and a smear of avocado. Sad it was good. Guess it's onto the next Mexican, food/restaurant/stand with will come to town.

Food was excellent best tacos I ever had honestly very fresh from the tortilla to the everything that was in them. The salsa for the chips were amazing as well. I like the interior has a warm feeling especially in this cold weather. I highly recommend and will come again.

First time eating at taco station. The food there is delicious. Great service. The prices are good and not crazy expensive. The inside looks great and modern. There is parking in the back. You can not park on the gas station side otherwise your vehicle will be towed. Other than that I have no complaints about this newly opened Mexican restaurant. I really enjoyed the food there. If you are new to the area or haven’t tried this place out, do so 👍👍👍👍

The food was fresh and tasted fantastic. The ONLY thing that is not good here is the payments. I ordered a take out meal and paid with a card. Now, I do understand the credit card fees because I own a business and we do get charged a fee to get payments with cards. My problem is the fact that they ask if you want to leave a tip and feel it is important to leave a tip for services you are receiving however I do believe it should be my own thoughtful tip for the level of service I received. On their machine there is no custom tip button, you either elect to give them 15%, 20% or 25% tip whether you dine in or carry out. The girl was very nice and personable but all she did was bag my food that the cooks made and gave it me. That is not worth a 15% increase in my bill because I wanted to give the girl a tip and I had no cash on me. Other then that the food is amazingly good.

We came in with a party of 5 and spent 120 dollars we waited for 10 minutes to get just a waitress to come to the table and take are order and then we have to waited another 10 minutes to get our fountain drink. The food was good but that took 30 minutes to get that. The waitress keep forgetting a lot of our food really bad on keep our up with the tables she only checked up with us 1 time out of the 2 hours we were there and that not even the worst part. When we got the bill there was almost a 20% guarantee when it didn't say it on the doors, menus, or by the register. For only 2 extra slices of lime they charged $1.25 a piece and when we went to go pay we paid in cash because there was a sign that said 4% upcharge for credit cards so when we went to go pay even though we were paying in cash they still made us pay for the 4% up charge when like I said the sign said it was for credit cards only. I am very disappointed with this place.
I would recommend Taco Station to anyone in the Lake Station area. The food was phenomenal, fresh, inexpensive, and fast. The service was awesome too. This family owned restaurant deserves your visit.

I will not return here and would not recommend this place. Came here to carry out for dinner for our first time. I got the taco dinner and they charged me $3 for sour cream and cheese on 1 taco. They put the cheese and sour cream on the wrong taco. I asked for all rice no beans the amount of rice they give you is enough for 2 bites. The carnitas are hard and dry. The tortillas are also hard and stale. Their sign says check your food before you leave they aren't responsible for mess ups. Now I see why. Save your money and go to mazamilta or the taco stand off central.
