“This is one of the best small town mom and pop diners . I go there for breakfast two to three times a week. I have not eaten lunch there, but I believe it’s probably as good and better than a fast food chain. The staff is wonderful, and of course it’s the kind where locals gather to “shoot the bull” if you will. If you’re in the area and if it’s open stop in and enjoy the atmosphere. The hours are 6am to 2pm. One day I shall try the lunch there.”
“Had a good experience. We showed up when they opened up at 11am and they only had a few others that came in during our time there. It's a good time to go if you're wanting to eat out without a crowd. The chicken had great crunch and flavor. You got a good amount of chicken for the cost. I chose all dark meat and got 2 legs, 2 thighs and a back. Plan to give extra time for the fried chicken. It takes 30 mins to make. I got mashed potatoes and gravy as my potato side with the fried chicken dinner. They were smooth and the gravy was good but needed salt imo, but that would be good for those who need a low salt option. Coffee was standard diner type coffee; good, hot and fresh. The salad bar had a lot of different salad options. Potato salad, pasta salad, pea salad, cottage cheese, bacon, black olives, ham, onion, etc. Was happy to see poppy seed dressing too.My party said the catfish was amazing. Waitress said the ribeyes are what she would recommend for next time, that they're hand cut and one of her favorites as well as the fried chicken.”
“A very nice restaurant, the best thing about it, is pizza station is located not to far from the Whitewater Canal Trail. You can ride on the trail and afterwards go to this wonderful place for something to eat.Parking: There is no bike rack available but there are some places in the area to lock your bike up to.”
“I absolutely love Grannies Cookie Jar. They have amazing staff and delicious ice cream. They also have homemade waffle cones. They have a large variety of cookie jars. This place is a must-see.”
“Very good food (carne asada tacos), but a bit expensive for what we received. Drinks were pretty pricey and there were no advertised deals. Sat outside with a large group, so not much to say on the atmosphere. Took a bit to get our check, but otherwise a good experience.”
“Great food and great service every time I come. Bathrooms are always clean and the food is always correct, hot, and fast to come out. You can really tell the amount of love they put into the atmosphere, the food, and the service.Parking: Lot out back and street out frontWheelchair accessibility: Very accessible”
“Jimmy's Hometown Bar is an awesome place to stop in and have a beer or your favorite mixed drink.Super great friendly atmosphere. You'll not leave Jimmy's without making a friend.I believe Brad Colter "The owner" plans on opening the kitchen very soon.”
“My daughter and I have made this wonderful place a Sunday morning tradition. Food is always great and the service from Karalee the waitress is so bubbly and great. The owner is always sweet and appreciative. We are blessed to have this in our county.”
“The spicey chicken tenders rock. Wedges good. Sometimes they don't have standing fried chicken ready, but that's OK if you're short on time. The regular chicken tenders also rock. They have sides besides wedges you can get. Very fair prices. Give them a try next time you're in the mood for some chicken!”
“Wonderful atmosphere for the young and young at heart! Clean and quiet with plenty of seating and great food. Ordered takeout with 8 individual meals and each item was delicious. The coleslaw is nice and peppery, just like I like it.Kid-friendliness: Books and game lying around for the bored or restless”
“Ok so this place has a tendency 2 get really busy/crowded on the weekends. After all, it is a bar n the most popular 1 n this small town! So small that the bar is bout the only place 2 go 2 when being an adult here! However the owners as well as the staff is extremely nice n never stop serving u throughout the night at all unless u tell them that ur done 4 the night of course. There's 2 dart boards n 1 pool table at this location.”
“The specials today were smoked sausage, green beans and potatoes with cornbread and what they call the "Mac" burger. Both specials were around eight dollars. The bartender is attentive and extremely friendly. I got the Mac burger with cottage cheese and he got the green being smoked sausage and potatoes. Sometimes you just want a laid-back non-pretentious dinner like it's a home cooked meal but you didn't have to cook it or do the dishes. I love it that they have a jukebox. I always get it going with my music and you can do it over the Wi-Fi on your phone. This is just a nice laid-back place to sit down and discuss. They have some food and a couple of beers while you listen to music. In the wise words of Toby Keith, "I LOVE THIS BAR".”
“An awesome place to pick up a pastry or wrap/sandwich. Love it because I'm able to cycle down the beautiful whitewater canal trail and pick up something to eat locally throughout the week after a long ride.”
“Very cool place. I had never been and made this the ending point for a bike ride from Batesville with my Dad. It had a very local vibe, but we were welcomed in immediately. For a remote dive bar they have a very good beer selection. It is worth the trip for the pizza. Service was very friendly. Will be back.”
“Pretty good pizza. The atmosphere was nice because it didn't detract from my experience with the group I was there with. Service was from a new waitress who was still learning the ropes, but she did pretty good.”
“Good food. Nice remodel but the dining is awfully dark. Pulling into the parking lot we were not sure the place was open. Once inside the dimness made me think of an old hole in the wall bar.”
“I'm so glad that L.C. is back in town! They really improved from the last store. Prices went up which is a disappointment but other than that I absolutely love this place.”
“The pepperoni pizzas are so oily that it's a bit difficult to eat (due to the pepperoni during cooking) but the cheese pizza is the sweet spot. It is both tasty and a great value!Parking: Since Sbarro is apart of the gas station it's the gas station parking spots (plentiful). Includes handicap spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible ramp.”
“It was good the bread was kinda hard yes I get it toatest but not like that but it was still eatable and I only live not even 2 minutes away from subway but other than that every thing was just fine when ever I get the chance to eat out subway is where I go service was quick it was ”
“This place has been at the same location for a looong time. I can remember going for a Frosty as a kid & playing in the stanchions (yes, that's what they're called) while waiting in line. They had the greenhouse area on the front of the restaurants back then. Nonetheless, a quality location, as far as a Wendy's goes. They're quick, friendly & above all...tasty.”
“Food is amazing and workers are very kind food is definitely worth it for the price you pay. Never had a bad experience at Hardee's and I look forward to seeing the ”
