The Shift Batesille over promised, overbooked and terribly under delivered for this Easter event. We love The Shift for a casual lunch but they were way out of their capabilities. They were desperately understaffed in the kitchen and in the dining room. In the course of 2 hours to complete we saw at least three tables leave in frustration.
We were seated at our reserved time but it took over 40 minutes to have the meal brought to our table. Salads were brought with the entree...

We ordered fried green tomatoes as an appetizer; the breading was OK, but the sun dried tomatoes and basil were too much for what should be am easy southern comfort food.
