Was in a hurry and chose not to visit any of the multiple fast food joints. Went in and asked the host for something quick. I'm not picky! The host did not understand my alien English language in middle America. However, the host did find someone that could. I asked her to just pick something quick and hot. She brought me a huge $12 burrito with ground beef and plenty of queso on top. It was excellent and big enough to make two meals. Also came with bag of tasty tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa had some heat to it and was not my favorite. The whole ordeal took about 10 minutes and I would absolutely make a return visit.

We had a very nice meal at this restaurant. It took a bit of time before our server came to take our drink order, but after that the service was outstanding. The servings were a good size and it was nice that they were offering drink specials for Mother’s Day. They also offered a beautiful long stem rose and complementary dessert as part of the package. We would definitely return in the future.

We were just out for a drive and thought we would stop. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff was great and very clean restaurant. I would highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: There is a bar but lots of seating outside the bar area for families with kids to sit.

Same ol Mexican you'd find at any of these Mexican food stands...nothing except the lettuce is fresh, the meat in the "chicken & steak" fajitas wa NOT ok, it was soured....we had to get up from our table to ask for chups and salsa, the staff aren't very friendly, the food is WAAAAAY over priced! We WILL NOT be returning to this building.????

Nothing crazy or exciting about this place. It's a Mexican restaurant chain and doesn't feel very authentic or inviting like some of the local family owned Mexican restaurants. Staff are nice and the service is good.

It was clean and the atmosphere was nice but the service was terrible. Food was okay but the nachos were dry even though I asked for extra queso. my fiancé asked for just bacon and cheese on his burger and they put tomatoes on it as well, and the fries were so bland they weren’t even palatable.

My absolute favorite Mexican place in Madison! The portions are large and yummy, and the prices aren't outrageous! Not to mention they make a great margarita!

Service was horrible. People coming in 30 minutes after us were served their drinks and food before we even received our drinks. We received our food right after we finally got our drinks and the salad was served after the food arrived. The food was good, but after over an hour waiting for it I was not a happy

We went here last Thursday. But it is not a Mexican restaurant now. It's the Black Olive Italian restaurant and it was awesome. I got a Shrimp dish, sorry I can't remember the name, but it was delicious. It had shrimp, bacon and spaghetti in a cream sauce. So good! And the portion was huge. Enough to make 3 meals for me. Larry had a chicken dish with peppers and eggplant. They Alsomade it gluten free for him as he has a gluten allergy. He really liked it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The prices weren't bad. Will definitely be going again. They are hard to see. They are right next to the motel on Clifty Drive across from Harry's Stone Grill.

I've got some friends in Madison and every time I'm in town we end up there. It's a small town with several Mexican restaurants but we like El Nopal. The margaritas are better than the other places in town and I like the carnitas and toreados. I've never heard anyone complain about the food. Good service and a new...er location.

The swirl margarita is very good, and the food matches that level. A really good place for a birthday as well!

The Shrimp a la Mexicana was prepared as a plentiful plate to enjoy. Lots of fried rice a little dry for my taste. To give it some more flavor and moisture I used some the purée salsa from the chip appetizer served. The spicy ? sauce. The shrimp and vegetable blend taste satisfying it’s avocado salad.
