“My daughter and I went to downtown Madison to Christmas shop. I really didn’t want to drive up the hill and out of downtown for lunch, but it was worth the mile or two. The service was EXTREMELY friendly. The chef even opened the kitchen door in back where we parked to keep us from walking thru rain to front door. The salads were crispy fresh, selection was abundant and the sauce and toppings delicious. The pizza crust light and baked to perfection. We will be back!”

“My family had lunch here 7/5, had a little problem with one of our sandwiches, they remade thw sandwich, pickle and all (brownie points for the pickle) and even refunded the $ for said sandwich. Which we promptly dropped with an actual tip into the tip jar. Mad props, and will def be back, time and time again.”

“This is the 2nd time in a row we have ate here and then been up sick all night. We loved this restaurant it was our favorite Mexican place to eat. Sadly will not be going back. The salsa tasted more like tomato juice then salsa, We had steak and chicken burrito s and the steak was tuff. Almost jerkyfied. It weighed so heavy on out tummies even after going to bed and waking the next morning. So dissapointed. Our leftovers will be going to the dogs, cause just looking at it makes my stomach turn.”

“I can't recommend the Red Pepperoni enough! We catered from them for our wedding rehearsal dinner at Richwood on the River and the food was phenomenal. Any time I come to Madison I'm stopping by!”

“I have always had an amazing experience here, but I think I truly had the BEST dining experience of my life tonight. Our server, Mark, was insightful, friendly, charismatic and an overall delight to be around! I had my usual Espresso Martini and Pomegranate Martini that are always incredible. Tonight I had the Mahi-Mahi which completely blew me away, not to mention the Medjool Dates! If you’ve thought about coming here for dinner, DO IT. You will not be disappointed.”

“I was on the hilltop and knew That Culver’s opened today. I figured if drive through line was wrapped around the block, I’d stop and get dinner for Traci Harsin and myself. The line was pretty long, but I figured I’d wait in line. Kudos to Culver’s! They have 2 lanes in the drive through. So it only took me about 15 to get to Odering station and from there another 5 minutes to get my food. I was pretty impressed. Not a bad wait on opening day! On top of that our food was delicious! This passed Sat 1/6...was no different got up and around was there before 7.. 7:30 the grandkids checked out and claimed their treat..To kids CHOCOLATE is the bomb..so 1st to grab..2 chocolate covered were hard as a hockey puck...the rest was fresh..I am so disappointed...”

The lady at the counter helped us out and took great care of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the cauliflower crust, the different types of pizza, and the breadsticks. We LOVED the Doritos Sticks! Felipe went out of his way to provide a customized menu and superb service. He truly cared about our party and he and his staff went above and beyond to make it a perfect evening. If you are hosting a gathering or just want a great meal I highly recommend Black Olive.”

“Excellent sushi! The "hibachi bar" is okay but there are a couple types of veggies I really like in my stir-fry that they don't have (but that's just a personal preference, they do have a lot of choices).
There is a wide range of choices of hot food with Chinese and American options so the kids can have a slice of pizza while you're enjoying General Tso's chicken over fried rice.
The cold bar has some offerings for making a salad as well as hard-boiled eggs (something I enjoy but generally don't see on buffets), fruit, pudding, and mussels and boiled shrimp.
There are a couple choices of cakes, cookies, and 8 kinds of hand-dipped ice cream for dessert.
For the price, there's no beating this buffet.

Parking: The restaurant is in a strip mall, so there is a large parking lot that is technically for all the stores, but there's always plenty of parking close to the restaurant.”

“My husband and I actually went here because the restaurant we were going to go to was closed. But it was DEFINITELY a DELICIOUS choice. (Just for note, we haven't been to either) The food and atmosphere were absolutely delightful and delicious!!! We both ordered seafood. He ordered the Mahi Mahi blackened with fried shrimp. Which was absolutely FANTASTIC. I tried it, and as a person who LOVES seafood but doesn't like fish, I would DEFINITELY recommend. It ABSOLUTELY does NOT taste like fish. I ordered the seafood pasta. IT IS AMAZING!!!!! And the portion sizes are HUGE! Neither of us could finish and got 3 more servings of our to go's. Also, the sides were something else. I got a house salad with mine, and you can tell that the croutons and dressing are house made. He got the onion rings and the soup of the day, which was a Seafood bisque. Both, AGAIN, were above reproach. LASTLY, but CERTAINLY NOT least, the service. Our waitress was a delight. She was prompt and very friendly. I definitely recommend going here.”

Owner Steve and Elizabeth are so knowledgeable about their wines and often share stories of the wine and history of the wine a cider making. Indoor and outdoor seating so pup friendly outside. Often have singers and bands on the weekend or celebrating a holiday or traditional event.”

“I didn't get our waitresses name, but we have had her multiple times while visiting and she is always amazing! we had 11 adults and 4 children tonight at 6pm with this waitress and she was great! Took care of us in a timely manner, was on top of it when we ask for anything, was also concerned for my 3 year old when she got sick on the floor! Food was great, came quickly, service was awesome! All staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean! Our waitress deserves a big raise or a big bonus! Every time we have her she is great and on top of everything! Highly recommend!”

If they inform you that you are gonna get what they grab, as a patron I'm gonna assume there is a reason for it instead of kicking into Karen mode and going on about who should do what job just because YOU DIDN'T GET YOUR WAY!! If you WERE a bartender then YOU would also know that on a Saturday (the busiest night of the week) it helps things to flow better if you understand that they have a job to do and you being picky about a seltzer flavor when they probably get them in variety packs isn't conducive to the line flowing smoothly.
