“My daughter and I went to downtown Madison to Christmas shop. I really didn’t want to drive up the hill and out of downtown for lunch, but it was worth the mile or two. The service was EXTREMELY friendly. The chef even opened the kitchen door in back where we parked to keep us from walking thru rain to front door. The salads were crispy fresh, selection was abundant and the sauce and toppings delicious. The pizza crust light and baked to perfection. We will be back!”

“My cousin and I dined in on Sunday Aug. 3, 2025 for dinner. We shared the toasted ravioli and each had the amazing chicken parmesan. Our server was awesome but I'm afraid we didn't get her name. Y'all were very busy & while our appetizer came out quickly the entree's didn't but that was alright! She and I have both been in the food service business before...we get it! Our awesome server did choose to give us a discount for our long wait, which was very kind. We appreciated it! So thank you for amazing food, awesome service and extra kindness to some gals visiting your beautiful city!”

Just where else do you go that has all three? Plus a veteran staff, bartender, and even the owners at your very beck-n-call. The salads are incredible. We love the Chuka Ika Salad (Squid Salad). Our favorite Sushi rolls are the Sun Roll, Jaguar Roll, Crazy Roll, Rainbow Roll, Tiger Roll and Sunshine Roll”

“we live in Ohio now but will happily travel over 200 miles, for 4 hours with four toddlers just to get a chicken bacon ranch from The Famous Bellos Pizza. Of course they are great people as well which makes it a bonus.”

“Elizabeth, Chris and Faith did amazing keeping up with all the cars round midnight. I had ordered 6 bite boxes, 4 double fish sandwiches, 4 double bacon cheeseburgers and 4 fry lover fries. 3 ranch cups, 3 bbq and 3 cheese sauces. 3 milkshakes and 3 large drinks and 2 medium drinks. Everything was hot and fresh. My wait was less time than other places even.”

Polite staff. Quick and prompt. Kept on top of drink refills too.

In the afternoon, the lighting is almost nonexistent, and mostly supplied by the large front window, promoting a dim, yet quaint enough environment. Upholstery and tables are clean and upkept, as are the table condiments and seasonings. There are booth, round, and rectangular tables to be seated at.

After you are shown your seats, you fend for yourself. Head to the buffet, grab yourself a plate and get to choosing.

The food- its tasty, though some of it can get a bit aesthetically displeasing (looking at the cheesy stuffed mushrooms in particular.)

There's a wide selection of Chinese and American / western dishes. Pork, chicken, and steak are available in a multitude of ways with an without veggies. The broccoli though, was oddly bitter at times. There's a cooler of several ice cream varieties, and lots of unique desserts as well including pastries and puddings. There was a swirled purple cake with coconut creme filling and apple tarts that I could surely reccomend.

There is also a sushi bar along the back, and a hibachi service.
The sushi is pretty good- but be warned, both raw and cooked sushi are kept plated on ice in the same proximity (for an amount of time I'm unaware of, and tongs seem interchangeably used per sushi option.)

The bathrooms are behind the palm tree in the middle of the dining area. The men's room is very spacious, one of the nicest witnessed in this style of restaurant. It feels a bit seedy in the women's, but there is a wheelchair acessible stall and a changing table. The water in the restrooms get hot FAST, and WILL scald you if you're not careful.”

“I was on the hilltop and knew That Culver’s opened today. I figured if drive through line was wrapped around the block, I’d stop and get dinner for Traci Harsin and myself. The line was pretty long, but I figured I’d wait in line. Kudos to Culver’s! They have 2 lanes in the drive through. So it only took me about 15 to get to Odering station and from there another 5 minutes to get my food. I was pretty impressed. Not a bad wait on opening day! On top of that our food was delicious! Thanks Culver’s of Madison! Keep up the good work.”

“I didn't get our waitresses name, but we have had her multiple times while visiting and she is always amazing! we had 11 adults and 4 children tonight at 6pm with this waitress and she was great! Took care of us in a timely manner, was on top of it when we ask for anything, was also concerned for my 3 year old when she got sick on the floor! Food was great, came quickly, service was awesome! All staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean! Our waitress deserves a big raise or a big bonus! Every time we have her she is great and on top of everything! Highly recommend!”

“I find it unacceptable that you people feel the need to slam a bar or bartender based on GOSSIP from the rumor mill that you feel you need to spread, or throwing a tantrum about what kind of seltzer you have access to! If they inform you that you are gonna get what they grab, as a patron I'm gonna assume there is a reason for it instead of kicking into Karen mode and going on about who should do what job just because YOU DIDN'T GET YOUR WAY!! That's childish and super petty! If you WERE a bartender then YOU would also know that on a Saturday (the busiest night of the week) it helps things to flow better if you understand that they have a job to do and you being picky about a seltzer flavor when they probably get them in variety packs isn't conducive to the line flowing smoothly. What's unacceptable is going online and attacking their job position because you simply didn't get what you want! I feel pity for you Karens of the world and those who spread worthless GOSSIP!
