Chinese Restaurants in Madison

“My favorite place to go for Chineese food in Madison. I also deliver and even time I go, the lady behind the counter is on it! She is always taking care of customers with a smile on her face. The food is always good and the price is fair especially considering the serving size. Great for dine in or take-out.“

“Walk in, stand in the doorway to the dining room, and you'll be seated within a minute or two.
Polite staff. Quick and prompt. Kept on top of drink refills too.

In the afternoon, the lighting is almost nonexistent, and mostly supplied by the large front window, promoting a dim, yet quaint enough environment. Upholstery and tables are clean and upkept, as are the table condiments and seasonings. There are booth, round, and rectangular tables to be seated at.

After you are shown your seats, you fend for yourself. Head to the buffet, grab yourself a plate and get to choosing.

The food- its tasty, though some of it can get a bit aesthetically displeasing (looking at the cheesy stuffed mushrooms in particular.)

There's a wide selection of Chinese and American / western dishes. Pork, chicken, and steak are available in a multitude of ways with an without veggies. The broccoli though, was oddly bitter at times. There's a cooler of several ice cream varieties, and lots of unique desserts as well including pastries and puddings. There was a swirled purple cake with coconut creme filling and apple tarts that I could surely reccomend.

There is also a sushi bar along the back, and a hibachi service.
The sushi is pretty good- but be warned, both raw and cooked sushi are kept plated on ice in the same proximity (for an amount of time I'm unaware of, and tongs seem interchangeably used per sushi option.)

The bathrooms are behind the palm tree in the middle of the dining area. The men's room is very spacious, one of the nicest witnessed in this style of restaurant. It feels a bit seedy in the women's, but there is a wheelchair acessible stall and a changing table. The water in the restrooms get hot FAST, and WILL scald you if you're not careful.“
