“I’ve been to Chongqing and Sichuan province in China twice, and had many meals there. This restaurant is authentic and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Sichuan brisket noodle soup and the Chongqing spicy chicken. I never thought I would be able to taste these flavors again without traveling back to China, but I am so thrilled to have found this place! 😍😍😍“

“We placed a pickup order that was scheduled to be ready in 30 minutes. When we arrived, we ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes for our order. The kitchen seemed to be running behind, even though the restaurant didn’t appear to be particularly busy.

The attendant hand you a ball and points you towards the bar and you can add whatever you want to your bowl and then they cook it up in front of you with your choice of brown rice white rice fried rice or noodle! The prices is based on the weight. $7.99 per pound. for the two of us, we spent $22. y'all don't sleep on this place!“

“We’ve loved Yen Ching for at least 15 years. The food is awesome and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We have tried the tofu with vegetables in garlic sauce, Mongolian beef, and beef with vegetables in garlic sauce. Wonton soup and Crab rangoon are the best around! “This is my most favorite restaurant. I wish they would get on to doordash so I could have it delivered across the bridge to Jeffersonville Indiana. “Friendly staff. They have dine in available but the bulk of their business seems to be take out orders. With the amount of door dash order pick ups they had while my family and I were eating, I knew the food would not disappoint. My wife enjoyed the lo mean and my daughter her orange chicken.“

They are fast, they have messed up maybe 2 times, only forgetting drinks those times, but they offered to bring the drinks to me. “This has been our favorite chinese restaurant for many years. They hace the BEST crab rangoon around! However, recently we have been getting served the wrong food. Which is extremely annoying. My husband has an allergy to some meats, so when we order one thing and get a different meat in our order, that is both concerning, & frustrating. I greatly hope that this stops and never happens again. But with this being the second time In a row that it has happened to us, my expectations of this actually being fixed isn't high.“

The food comes in generous portions, and the restaurant presents a very clean, orderly atmosphere. Servers are quick to respond, and very courteous ....we have never been disappointed by the service here. Prices are very reasonable. We are going back this week for a late Father's Day dinner to celebrate my becoming a grandfather!“

I have to travel around the city often for work, and I'm always excited when my work brings me to Taylorsville Road, since I know it means I'll get to have some great food. The only bad thing about this restaurant is it makes all the places near my side of town taste so bad in comparison.
