“Finally dined in myself in May. Thought I left a review.
The food is great. I've had leftover takeout from family, but nothing beats dinning in. The food is extremely fresh and the servers are very attentive. The music is the perfect volume and the atmosphere is comforting. The menus have indicators of spice level and the food comes out in a timely manner. They a menu for Sichuan cuisine and a menu for more basic American Chinese food if you are feeling less adventurous. The pig Intestines are delicious. 10/10 would go again. My only grief is I don't like their drink products. (Pics from when I went in May)“

Clean, quiet, super friendly staff and fantastic food at good prices. Location on Southside can be a bit congested but you can sneak right out onto Strawberry for a light or a detour.

Will definitely be back. Pepper steak was awesome. Big menu. Recommended.“

“01/15/25: I work down the street and a co-worker and I went and ordered takeout. fast, friendly, fair and & DELICIOUS!!! The attendant hand you a ball and points you towards the bar and you can add whatever you want to your bowl and then they cook it up in front of you with your choice of brown rice white rice fried rice or noodle! The prices is based on the weight. $7.99 per pound. for the two of us, we spent $22. y'all don't sleep on this place!“

“I had not been to P.F. Chang’s for some time and was excited to be close enough to one to have their Lettuce Wraps. The food was done well but we both could detect an odd old oil taste in both of our dishes. It spoiled the overall meals

We have tried the tofu with vegetables in garlic sauce, Mongolian beef, and beef with vegetables in garlic sauce. Wonton soup and Crab rangoon are the best around! “I have came here very regularly since I was a small child. They did change owners once, but they’ve always maintained great food, great service. They are very hard-working. They are very consistent. I have eaten at many Chinese food places around Louisville in my 32 years and a lot will honestly leave me disappointed and sometimes sick. Here I’ve always loved the food. I’ve always got great portions for good prices and the prices remain consistent over all the inflation through the years.“

“I would give a 3.5 if I could. This place is takeout only, so I went and placed an order. The owner’s young daughter took my order which was super cute. I got the sweet and sour chicken and the lo mein. The chicken by itself was pretty bland, but the sauce was good. The noodles were ok, but could’ve used a bit more flavor. Price is reasonable and service fast.“

“This is my most favorite restaurant. I wish they would get on to doordash so I could have it delivered across the bridge to Jeffersonville Indiana. When I worked downtown Louisville at Humana we would eat there at least three times a week. All of the employees loved this restaurant. Please consider going on to doordash. I am disabled and cannot drive anymore so I cannot go to the greatest restaurant in Kentucky or Southern indiana. Thank you“

“Friendly staff. They have dine in available but the bulk of their business seems to be take out orders. With the amount of door dash order pick ups they had while my family and I were eating, I knew the food would not disappoint. My wife enjoyed the lo mean and my daughter her orange chicken.“

“These guys never miss. 54 points, 15 rebounds, 12 assists, 3 steals, and a block! I’ve been ordering from here since 2004 and it’s still just as good as 20 years ago. Best sweet and sour chicken in Louisville. Best Chinese in Louisville. Their bourbon chicken is something special as well, and their fried rice. They need to go back to their old egg rolls though but they still get an A++ from me.“

“We got honey chicken, broccoli in spicy garlic sauce, and lo mein. All were fresh and delicious. My only wish is that the broccoli was spicier, but it was still very hood. They also gave us free veggie rolls and they were great too! Portions and prices were good too. Very friendly atmosphere as well. This was our first time ordering from here, but it definitely won't be the last!“

“I have ordered probably 50 times by this time. They would know. They are amazing. They are fast, they have messed up maybe 2 times, only forgetting drinks those times, but they offered to bring the drinks to me. They called to say they would be very late because they were backed up and they were very nice about it. They always treat me nice. They put in coffee news when I ask. I always get delivery. I will always order from here. Food is amazing, it's not for everyone, but if you don't like it, go somewhere else. This is my favorite delivery chinese restaurant.“

“We really enjoy eating at this restaurant weather is for lunch, like today or late night dinners. We have never not been greeted with a friendly smile. And the food is made for you while you wait. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend. The only drawback, and we have not been affected by it yet if there are only three seating areas. But for here, we would wait if we wanted to eat at the restaurant.“

The portions are quite large, which makes the pricing valuable. So order a small unless you have very big appetite.“

“This has been our favorite chinese restaurant for many years. They hace the BEST crab rangoon around! However, recently we have been getting served the wrong food. Which is extremely annoying. My husband has an allergy to some meats, so when we order one thing and get a different meat in our order, that is both concerning, & frustrating. “Since a couple of Chinese restaurants have shut down in Louisville, I've been looking for one to call my favorite. THIS is it! Best Mongolian Beef in town BY FAR, and I've sampled Chinese restaurants across the city. The menu is expansive; hard to imagine someone who likes Chinese food being unable to find something to eat. The food comes in generous portions, and the restaurant presents a very clean, orderly atmosphere. Servers are quick to respond, and very courteous ....we have never been disappointed by the service here. Prices are very reasonable. We are going back this week for a late Father's Day dinner to celebrate my becoming a grandfather!“

“My wife and I regularly enjoyed making the trip to the chinese buffet in Frankfort when we lived a little closer but, recently moved and this place is very close to where we live comparatively.

The food is just as good or better with just as many options and some of them new options. Overall there are a couple of things that are not as good, but many things that are better. I have not yet tried the hibachi which I usually do, but there was so many different things to try or sample. Next time for sure.

I didn't see any serious issues or anything like that and we had a nice time overall. Definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area.“

“Happy Dragon is the best Chinese food I have found in Louisville. I have to travel around the city often for work, and I'm always excited when my work brings me to Taylorsville Road, since I know it means I'll get to have some great food. Try out the Bourbon chicken, bamboo chicken, or ask for an extra spicy combo lo mein, you won't regret it. The only bad thing about this restaurant is it makes all the places near my side of town taste so bad in comparison. Seriously, I've tried bourbon chicken at a dozen places in Louisville, and no where else can even come close.“

“This place is delicious! The people in the kitchen work their butts off to prepare very delicious food. The people up front are very good at their jobs aswell, they're nice and will treat you very kindley aswell. I think (like any other restaurant) people may have their specific opinions about this place but it really just depends on you specifically and what you like! If you want good food then I think this would be a good option to choose from☺️! And the drivers there are dope aswell!!“
