We tried China Coast before 2020, and it was very good. Small location, take-out only, and delivery. At some point, we'd heard a rumor they had closed. Finally confirmed they were indeed open for business, so we ordered. Ordered General's Chicken and S&S Shrimp. Got an extra egg roll as well. The best place for BBQ wings, and fried shrimp basket.Best egg foo Yung, all of their food is five star approved.Dumplings are awesome, the sauce is beyond words.Everything on the menu is beyond standard with other places I've been to.Love this location and their food.Try the soups too, very good on a cold day.Closed on Tuesday but if you order enough on Monday?It carries you over into Wednesday.Love this place, the owners are my neighbors and I've ruined here almost 20 years...read full review

The food is reasonably priced and is the best Chinese food I’ve had in Louisville. The service and atmosphere are no-frills, but who cares when you are just picking up from the counter? (They have no space to eat in.)
