Fantastic! We had just arrived at the airport and noticed this restaurant while looking for a motel. It was 10 minutes until closing, and we were graciously welcomed to come in even though it was obvious the staff would be held over to serve us. The food was served quickly and was very delicious. Our waitress helped us locate lodging and gave directions how to find it. If we lived in Louisville, this restaurant would see us on a regular basis. Very impressed…5-star rating!!!

Based on the reviews, El Nopal Mexican Restaurant offers consistently good service and food. The chips and salsa are always really good, and the food and drinks are always really good. This location is super clean with excellent wait staff. The food is fantastic, and the portions are humongous. Specific meals mentioned include lunch fajitas for $12, a burger and fries, and 3 ala carte soft tacos with chicken. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, with employees who held the doors and fixed the table. It is a newer location in Louisville, recommended for good food at a quite reasonable price. There is plenty of parking and it is close to the expressway.
