“We were in Louisville for just a quick trip and our family was looking for a good authentic Mexican place to eat. We were SO GLAD to have found this place! The ambience is amazing and so beautifully decorated. The service was perfect, but the best part of all was THE FOOD. The specials were Caldo de Camaron, Pozole Verde, and Chiles Rellenos all super authentic and tasted just like one would make it at home. The drinks were fantastic, we had agua de horchata and jamaica and both were sooo fresh and tasty. Overall, we were happy that the one place we chose to eat was here!! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and they also speak Spanish for anyone who may find that helpful! On our last visit, I accidentally left my phone behind, and they kindly held onto it for me until the next day. It really speaks to the kind of people who work here. Between the amazing food and the genuinely wonderful staff, this place will always be on our list of stops whenever we’re in Kentucky. Highly recommend!“

“I went to Taquero Mucho 3 after being to the original Taquero Mucho on Outer Loop this evening. I split the Alambre Supreme with my wife and my son. My other son had the pretty standard beef burrito with rice and beans. The food was amazing. The service, with Luis who runs the place, is second to none. I would recommend this place or any of the Taquero Muchos to anyone. Luis is the absolute best of the best. The food is consistently incredible. If you want an authentic Mexican dish with a side of hospitality, this is the spot. 10 out of 10 recommend eating here.“

“We are visiting the town of Louisville and we stop by to get lunch at Mi casita. The decoration is authentic, I love the Mexican guirnaldas and the hat. The place is cozy. The food is good. My favorite part is the service. I highly recommend to eat here. The chunky salsa was my favorite one, spicy and perfect. The size of the portions are just perfect, I even take leftovers home. It is run by Mexicans, that tells you something, it is good.“

“We are 2 globetrotting foodies, temporarily located to Louisville for work. Monday night dinner here (home made quesadillas with squash blossoms and corn smut, taco with chorizo) was followed by Tuesday night dinner here again (home made quesadillas again, tacos with chicharron, al pastor, campechano, lomo, carnitas). Our tummies say “thank you”!

It’s amazing that a food truck in a gas station 4 minutes from our house is serving such authentic food from Oaxaca, Mexico!

“Our neighborhood El Nopal. Everyone is always kind, and the food is reliably great. One of my sons is a picky eater, but he is working on trying new things. He had tacos birria tonight for the first, and he loved it! It was no problem to request the kitchen omit the diced onion and cilantro from them either. My daughter will not accept arroz con pollo from any other restaurant - the Westport El Nopal is her absolute favorite! I tend to order different items on the menu, but the chile carnitas verde and tacos birria are my favorites. My husband loves the chuletas a la Mexicana. There are so many wonderful dishes to try!“

The restaurant was so festive, then to add to the ambiance a strolling violinist was playing a beautiful love song. My phone died so there aren't any pictures of the delicious food. The baskets of tortilla chips even had red heart shaped chips in the mix. Gustavo's pulled all the stops to make this holiday special for their customers!“
