“Really great Mexican restaurant, the food and staff are top notch. We eat here about once a week as a family, we have always had a great experience. The yolandas are especially good as well as the carne asada tacos and big giant burritos (kiddo’s favorite). The prices are 2022 reasonable, and you really get a lot for your money. You wont leave with buyers remorse by any means. The local choices within driving range are plentiful for restaurants, Los Aztecas is always one of our favorites.“

“This is the BEST Mexican restaurant in the region! Generous portions, fair prices and authentic choices that cater to a wide array of palates. Have gone here for several years now and never disappointed. The staff is always friendly and expeditious. Recently had a carne asada torta and tried their pozole rojo. The torta was massive and properly assembled. The steak was perfectly seasoned and grilled as always. Only regret not having gotten a lengua torta. Found out after ordering they recently put lengua back in rotation. The pozole was rich, flavorful and full of large cuts of tender pork. Enough for at least two meals worth. If you’ve never been, what are you waiting for?? Give this place a try“

“We were in Louisville for just a quick trip and our family was looking for a good authentic Mexican place to eat. We were SO GLAD to have found this place! The ambience is amazing and so beautifully decorated. The service was perfect, but the best part of all was THE FOOD. The specials were Caldo de Camaron, Pozole Verde, and Chiles Rellenos all super authentic and tasted just like one would make it at home. The drinks were fantastic, we had agua de horchata and jamaica and both were sooo fresh and tasty. Overall, we were happy that the one place we chose to eat was here!! If you are hesitant to stop by, don’t be, just go!!“

“We are visiting the town of Louisville and we stop by to get lunch at Mi casita. The decoration is authentic, I love the Mexican guirnaldas and the hat. The place is cozy. The food is good. My favorite part is the service. I highly recommend to eat here. The chunky salsa was my favorite one, spicy and perfect. The size of the portions are just perfect, I even take leftovers home. It is run by Mexicans, that tells you something, it is good.“

The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and they also speak Spanish for anyone who may find that helpful! On our last visit, I accidentally left my phone behind, and they kindly held onto it for me until the next day. It really speaks to the kind of people who work here. “I went to Taquero Mucho 3 after being to the original Taquero Mucho on Outer Loop this evening. I split the Alambre Supreme with my wife and my son. My other son had the pretty standard beef burrito with rice and beans. The food was amazing. The service, with Luis who runs the place, is second to none. I would recommend this place or any of the Taquero Muchos to anyone. Luis is the absolute best of the best. The food is consistently incredible. If you want an authentic Mexican dish with a side of hospitality, this is the spot. 10 out of 10 recommend eating here.“

“I travel a lot and am a Mexican food nerd, and this was not only the best food I had in Louisville, it ranks as some of the best Mexican food spots I’ve been to in a long time (and went back as my final meal in time before flying out). The carnitas were killer, the guacamole super fresh and the jalapeño margaritas dangerously good. The fish tacos were beautifully seasoned with a big generous piece of fish. “Our neighborhood El Nopal. Everyone is always kind, and the food is reliably great. One of my sons is a picky eater, but he is working on trying new things. He had tacos birria tonight for the first, and he loved it! It was no problem to request the kitchen omit the diced onion and cilantro from them either. My daughter will not accept arroz con pollo from any other restaurant - the Westport El Nopal is her absolute favorite! I tend to order different items on the menu, but the chile carnitas verde and tacos birria are my favorites. My husband loves the chuletas a la Mexicana. There are so many wonderful dishes to try!“

“We dined at the Hurstbourne location for Valentine's Day and was not disappointed!! There were full vases of flowers on every table as well as a Valentine's balloon. The restaurant was so festive, then to add to the ambiance a strolling violinist was playing a beautiful love song. My phone died so there aren't any pictures of the delicious food. The baskets of tortilla chips even had red heart shaped chips in the mix. Gustavo's pulled all the stops to make this holiday special for their customers!“

“We are 2 globetrotting foodies, temporarily located to Louisville for work. Monday night dinner here (home made quesadillas with squash blossoms and corn smut, taco with chorizo) was followed by Tuesday night dinner here again (home made quesadillas again, tacos with chicharron, al pastor, campechano, lomo, carnitas). Our tummies say “thank you”!

It’s amazing that a food truck in a gas station 4 minutes from our house is serving such authentic food from Oaxaca, Mexico!
