“Never thought this hole in the wall Mexican diner would be this good! I ordered the fajitas trio and the Pollo tortilla soup was both amazing. The server was cordial. Place had an upbeat music, Mexican theme decor bright and jovial. I love it, will go back again.“
“Our food was prepared exactly the way you expect from watching their ads. You know sometimes you get Taco Bell and it looks rushed, half made, proportions all off, but not here. We ordered Chalupa and burrito and they were top quality Taco Bell. Chalupa reminded me why I feel in love with them 20 years ago.“
“I was here this evening for dinner with friends. We had a great meal, great drinks, and our server was friendly and attentive. The only problem was the dessert which I ordered; sopapillas. These are traditional New Mexican soft, fried, puffed dough pockets, drizzled with honey or covered in cinnamon and sugar. Think small soft donuts. Well, what I got was a hard, flat, fried tortilla, cut into quarters, and covered in cinnamon and sugar. That is NOT any kind of a sopapilla I have ever had at any Mexican restaurant before. It was awful. When I told the server my thoughts on what was served, she argued with me that this was indeed sopapillas. Right. My advise; do not order this usually delightful dessert at Tres Amigos, because you'll get something other than true sopapillas!“
“This place I have been anticipating for quite some time now but today that came to an end as I had a great experience. Great staff great atmosphere great food. I'm a birrea guy and I officially love this place I can't wait to come back during “

It was our first time here, we are extremely impressed with the customer service which doesn't exist anymore Sergio is the real MVP and the outstanding quality of the food I can't express enough how amazing this experience was, definitely a must try!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“
“Been here 4 times and they're great every time. Huevos Rancheros are a go to. My favorite dish is the Chipotle Poached Huevos! The Cuban Coffee is a perfect blend of espresso and raw cane sugar. Service is fantastic. Dining area is vibrant for a bright morning vibe. Spacious with comfy booths or tables. Highly recommend this establishment for your next outing!“

“Papi's is a great addition to Crestwood, you've got to check this place out!Fiancée was craving some birria, so we decided to give Papi's a try, and it didn't disappoint. Food was a step up from a lot of the other Mexican offerings in Crestwood. The atmosphere and restaurant was really, really nice. Service was good, as were the drinks.Would definitely recommend any local to give it a shot!“
“Sooo good. This was our first visit and rarely do I eat out and immediately want to leave a review. I had the vegetarian fajitas nachos and it was perfect. I usually want sour cream but this was perfect without it. The veggies, beans and cheese were evenly distributed, fresh snd flavorful. My husband ordered the stuffed poblano peppers with chicken, rice and refried black beans. He was impressed as well and the black beans may be the best refried beans I've ever had. We will definitely be back. Give this place a try- it is fantastic!“
“Currito has become my new favorite. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is so yummy and I love that I can eat clean, fresh food within my budget. I appreciate the menu choices and love the option of being able to customize and build my grain or salad bowl or choose from their already suggested menu items.“
“Food was very good let's start there but the bugs was on the hunt like really bad made it hard to enjoy the food when I say bugs I mean (nets) they was flying all over our food the staff also knew it they came out with in electrical bug zapper in was killing them while we was eating crazy crazy experience !!!“
“Ordered Bandido Burrito and Carne Asada Burrito and it brought me back home to L.A this is real burritos and i would recommend to my friends and family it taste exactly like the burritos i make at home. I will be coming here more often on days i dont feel like cooking.“
“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Louisville. They are so nice and kind. The food just tastes higher quality than other places, particularly their beans. Their salsa also tastes fresher than most. The staff remember you and know what you are ordering even if it’s been awhile since you’ve been there. They ask about your family and seem to enjoy being part of the community. Lovely people, lovely place, lovely food.“
“My wife and I eat there often…. super attentive staff… Family oriented business that has a very large menu with great options The chicken steak shrimp fajitas ARE the real deal. Great food and great service. Buy one get one free margaritas tonight in six different flavors… Very reasonably priced menu.…. Their chips and salsa are super fresh…“

“We walked in 45 minutes before closing on a Saturday night and they wouldn’t seat us… there was 2 of us and we had traveled along ways so we were hungry. Well this nice game named edwardo(sp)?) said we can get it to go for you! And was so friendly after the rest of stuff wouldn’t serve us. He was a so friendly and the food was SOOOOO good. Like best mexican food ever. This young man is the staple of this place!“
“My family and I like the food here. They give good size portions. We've eaten in the restaurant several times and ordered takeout several times Like most places, eating in is a better experience but when you do order takeout they do a good job separating the hot and cold items.“
“Title: Delight on Wheels! The aptly named 'Hope on Wheels' taco truck has quickly become my go-to spot for an authentic and delightful taco experience. The quality of the food is top-tier and the flavors are unparalleled, reminding me of a journey through the heart of Mexican culinary tradition. The variety on the menu is just right. “You'd be hard pressed to find a better guacamole in Louisville. I'm serious. Unbelievable guacamole. The rest of the items that I sampled this evening were above board, but the guacamole was out of this world. Will return. Also, the margaritas were impeccable!“
“My wife told me about Noche and we have been trying to make time to go there for months. The wait was well worth it! We had patio seating. The weather was ideal and the seating was comfortable. The brisket was delicious and the plantains were out-of-this-world good. Our server, Jeremy was OUTSTANDING. He made sure we were taken care of, and was very pleasant. Noche will definitely get a return trip from us!“
“After a very bad first experience at this Gustavos I gave it another try (I was thevine in our group who was against it). I'm glad I did. What a completely different experience. Food was great! Service was exceptional! I'm hoping to go back again“
“Authentic food, recommend the Quesabirria. They have a margarita tower as well, definitely worth it. There was music for a couple of minutes, but they stopped playing music for the rest of the time. The service was fast, you'll have your food within minutes.“
“Perfect chicken tacos. My husband and I were mourning the closing of our favorite taco/burrito spot in Louisville, but then we realized this place was right down the road!! Lots of tables to eat in if you want. Green salsa is very spicy and very delicious; it's more of a creamy avocado sauce. Husband's chorizo burrito was pretty big and hearty without being greasy. We'll be back. Like a lot.“
“Just had my first experience at Craving Byanca, and it was amazing! The staff is incredibly sweet, and the food is outstanding. I loved it so much that I went back on two different days just so my mother could try it too, despite living 45 minutes away. Definitely a hidden gem!“
“Go here. You have to go here. The food is delicious and fresh. It's always top-notch. He's concerned with making sure the customer is satisfied, so when he questioned whether the bread was right, he went to a bakery and had them make bread specifically for his sandwiches. I drive from Fern Creek to get here. It is worth the drive. The tacos are delicious. The wet burritos are awesome. There is nothing that I have had at this food truck that has ever disappointed me. I love it and I adore him. The wet burritos are awesome. There is nothing that I have had at this food truck that has ever disappointed me. I love it and I adore him.“
“The tacos here are phenomenal. I have driven by this restaurant every night for 4 years on my way to work and finally decided to stop in. I regret not going sooner. The lengua tacos are soooo sooo good. The prices are reasonable. The service was fast and courteous. I will be stopping in on my way to work much more often!“
“I took my 3 employees on Thursday March 7th 2024 andAll of us were very satisfied with the food and service. I finally found somewhere that has chicken tamales and they were excellent. Also, my favorite place now for salsa sauce. Great place and has a lunch special menu too.“

The veggie tacos are fantastic.Parking: Parking lot behind buildingWheelchair accessibility: Flat surface to enter building“
“We were out early afternoon watching March Madness, and this was the place to go. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, even so engaged as to find out we were in from Columbus, OH, with family. Wouldn't you know it? One of the guys there, the manager, I believe, has family in Columbus. Small world, but it's a great place. You won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be going back!“
“Food I Rank 3 ⭐️ due to the lack of taste of true Mexico food ? for the food taste like any other American version of Mexican food.Serves I Rank 5 ⭐️ for the servers go above and beyond to accommodate the guest which makes the environment fill comfortably relaxedAtmosphere I rank 5 ⭐️ for the music, environment, is sorta like a Mexican environment. Therefore I give a 4 ⭐️ for effort and not a 5 star due to the food just didn’t remind me of true authentic Mexican food.“
“I enjoyed my lunch. Best squeezed OJ I’ve had in a while. On the pricey side for a burrito and OJ ($22). I got the drunk burrito chicken which was a good size. Staff were very friendly and plenty of places to sit. Everything seemed fresh, but did come out in 5 minutes. I’ll go again.“
“Food average, meaning nothing bad at all but what you would expect from a local Mexican restaurant. It's nice to get what you have come to expect. Food was inexpensive, good & abundant. Good place to gather with friends. Comfortable place to hang out in. Service speed is outstanding! Not sure how they do it! Slightly difficult to get extra items after food has arrived so it pays to order everything at once!“
“This is a really tasty quick place. My only complaint is the quesadillas are a bit oily. I prefer them dry on the outside, but the cooking oil is still on there. The flavors more than make up for that. Every item I have tried in 5 visit has been so tasty.“
“This is my favorite Mexican food in louisville. I have been to most. We always shop first.they really have the best store here.wonderful meat market. The we go to the restaurant. Very good caldo de res. Chicken quesadilla is one of the best. Very simple and quick. Steak burrito is plentiful. Beans and rice, good. Then to the bakery. Very good, fresh breads, cookies and cakes. Lastly, dessert. Nice fruit and ice cream. My wife always gets flan for take home. The main ingredient? Customer service is the best here. We have been going here for years and not once had a rude person wait on us!! Seriously, everyone has been kind and helpful at this establishment. That, more than anything keeps our business.“
“Good food with good prices. The shrimp fajitas were good and didn’t taste fishy. They were generous with the protein portions. A person in my group got a shrimp cocktail and enjoyed it. They complied with her request to not have cilantro in her dish.“
“Had a big family event here. They took care of us!Also, their waiter Juan did an excellent job managing our large group and getting us our food and beverages despite the hectic party we brought with us.Gustavo's is lucky to have him!He also made fresh lemon/limeade for my wife and I which was a great hangover cure ? "The Juan hangover special".“
“As always, the food was fresh, hot, and fast!! I had the white fish with shrimp and scallops and grilled vegetables. The scallops could have been cooked a little longer, but everything was scrumptious!! We got our meals within 10 minutes! The cost for four people was only $70 but we don't drink alcohol so that was just for the “
“An exquisite meal??, the best customer service and a very competitive price, there is no other place that wants to eat delicious food with all the Mexican flavor than this place, thank you for doing such a good job, congratulations to the owner and the cook, It has good portions of meat ?. Thank you very much and I'll be back soon ??????????“
“This place is a hidden gem! The place is super clean. Nice atmosphere! I was going to take pictures but the food looked to good! It taste as as good as it looks. The food is fresh and full of flavor. The only thing I didn't like was it was a little difficult to get there.“
“Ordered a stuffed green pepper meal. It came out as a fried flat green pepper with cheese and tomato sauce. No meat. I was looking for a tall whole green pepper with beef and rice cooked together and stuffed in the pepper. Learned a lesson, never order this again. It was NOT a stuffed green pepper.“
“Emanuel and Isabel were absolutely amazing! They were able to come out to an event we were having for over 300 people on very short notice! The food was so delicious! If you're looking for a wonderful couple to come and cook some yummy food for your event! This is the perfect service! Thank you for coming out and feeding the Fairdale Youth League Families and my family!!“
“So finding Taqueria La Güera was meant to be. I vividly remember find this taco spot late at night and it was one of their first days open. It was my birthday and I had to work late, the main taco truck I used to frequent wasn’t there for the night, I tried 2 more back up spots and sadly they weren’t there. I had given up almost all hope when on my way back home resigned that for my birthday I wouldn’t get any carne asada tacos which I was craving. I decided to take a different route since I had previously noticed that the stand had changed at this location. I drove by and saw light on, I made a U-turn and pulled into the parking lot. And from that moment on…after tasting the delicious Carne Asada, fresh avocado, crisp onions La Güera has become by go to spot, I visit 1-2 times a week now. I’ve had everything from the tacos, quesadillas, burritos, empanadas and even the hot dog (which surprisingly hits the spot too). There are times when I’ve eaten dinner and my wife didn’t and she will send me out to get chicken tacos. Absolutely the best in town, and I will keep coming back as long as they are open!“
“Great food. We've tried the gorditas, pastor tacos, quesadillas, elotes. The carnita tacos are great as well. Everything is delicious. We always call ahead and it's ready when we get there. They have spicy dipping sauces that go with everything. The green sauce is my favorite. Fast friendly service! Located in the parking lot of Cox's smokers on bardstown road. Great for late night eats.“
“I got 3 carne asada soft tacos. Tacos were good. However, $4.25 for 1 taco is steep, especially when the taco size is not big. Perhaps next time, I’ll go on Taco Tuesday when it’s $1.99 or get the Street Taco combo for a better value. Other than that, I would not pay $4.25 for a taco “
“Love this place! I work long hours and travel all the time, so I slept in today while in Louisville, KY. Woke up like a bear and wondered, where can I find some delicious coffee and food around noon? I Found El Toro Mexican restaurant and the staff were all very nice. They Welcome and greet YOU. Their tables were very clean, nice and comfortable in a booths with privacy like environment. So I had no shame in my game eating like a Champ. ? Had some delicious Huevos Rancheros and coffee. Everyone greets you and they keep your table clean. Menu is good and Affordable. I noticed they make killer Margaritas so I need to come back while working in this wonderful community. Thank you all for being kind hosts with delicious food. Lots of parking and easy to find.Parking: Easy parking, handicapped access next to the entrance. Easy walk in sidewalk for your loved ones if elderly.“
“One of my favorite places to grab some tacos! Any of their slow cooked Pork or Beef tacos are super tender and delicious! If you want an Appetizer I recommend their Chorizo Queso! Their Battered Fish or Shrimp Tacos have a delicious Chipotle Aioli that compliments the taco sooo well! Also.. They have perfect margaritas and you can also get one to go!“
