“Probably one of the more authentic Mexican restaurants I've been to, with Mexican candies and bread besides what's on the regular menu. The flautas were great and there were six of them under all the greens. The tacos were similarly good, though I added the green sauce they gave us (there's a red and a green sauce; both are somewhat spicy).I asked for no cilantro on my tacos, else they would have looked bigger! And I was asked by the server if I also didn't want cilantro on my flautas, which I didn't, and I appreciated being asked. You may have to wait a bit if it's busy though; we came around 7:30pm on a Monday and the restaurant was more than half full.I hope I can make it back for breakfast sometime ?Parking: Parking is a bit weird, since the place is so small and out of the way.“

It is quite quiet which I like it. The host /serve was nice. I ordered their traditional Mexican coffee, Cafe con Leche and their signature dish. I had added chorizo to it. It was soo good! “Stayed at the Moxy and decided to try the tacos here. I actually ordered the chicken nachos. They were very good. I ordered a side of the cilantro lime rice and shockingly it has no flavor to it at all. However the nachos were very flavorful. Staff was super friendly and the food came out fast! It was a great experience and will eat again when I return to town.“

“Our favorite food truck in Louisville! The truck itself is very clean, the owner and his wife are truly wonderful people and the food is incredible! We've pretty much tried everything on the menu and we keep coming back. The chicken is super flavorful, I personally love the chicken supreme tacos. My husband usually gets the steak tacos or steak quesadilla. We always get a few Birria tacos to eat in the car before we head home to finish our feast :). They park right outside of Girards Hardware.“

“So finding Taqueria La Güera was meant to be. I vividly remember find this taco spot late at night and it was one of their first days open. It was my birthday and I had to work late, the main taco truck I used to frequent wasn’t there for the night, I tried 2 more back up spots and sadly they weren’t there. I had given up almost all hope when on my way back home resigned that for my birthday I wouldn’t get any carne asada tacos which I was craving. I decided to take a different route since I had previously noticed that the stand had changed at this location. I drove by and saw light on, I made a U-turn and pulled into the parking lot. And from that moment on…after tasting the delicious Carne Asada, fresh avocado, crisp onions La Güera has become by go to spot, I visit 1-2 times a week now. I’ve had everything from the tacos, quesadillas, burritos, empanadas and even the hot dog (which surprisingly hits the spot too). There are times when I’ve eaten dinner and my wife didn’t and she will send me out to get chicken tacos. Absolutely the best in town, and I will keep coming back as long as they are open!“

The gentleman who took my order politely said it will be 15 minutes and I will have your food ready then I realized they were really wasn't even open yet so I said certainly I ordered steak burritos and two tacos.Now Amigos and Amigoettes let's chat about the food I can honestly say that I am a Mexican food junkie as in I could honestly eat Mexican food 4 days a week!! Seriously I live very close to this place so I want to pay for the food and I left to go home and eat. The first thing I opened was the tacos I observed two tacos that were perfectly prepared with all of the delicious toppings that were on this taco the steak was so tender that it was amazing and along with the tenderness the flavor was something that was truly authentic Mexican to the Core. Oh yes my friends I do know Mexican food and when I say authentic well I really mean authentic! Now I must talk about the steak burrito it was 3rd in line I opened up the container and there it was right before my very eyes a very large steak burrito now it was cut in half at an angle and it weighed I guess around 3 lb LOL. It wasn't 3 lb but it was a very very large burrito and the flavors that were inside this burrito was magical as in Mexicano magical!! Now if you really enjoy Mexican food this little food trailer is located close to Shepherdsville Road and the Outer Loop yourself a big favor!! Go try Mambo you will be very glad that you did hats off to the lady and gentlemen that we're working inside this place called Mambo cuz I just want to let him know they got a new regular customer excellent food!!!“
“This is a really tasty quick place. My only complaint is the quesadillas are a bit oily. I prefer them dry on the outside, but the cooking oil is still on there. The flavors more than make up for that. Every item I have tried in 5 visit has been so tasty.“

“I was looking to buy a burrito and Google lead me there. Never knew there was a restaurant tucked in the corner of this little outside strip of businesses. Not many, just a couple that seem more geared for immigrants coming in. If I had to guess I would say it was more of a Venezuelan or Latin American cuisine type place even though I was looking for the good ole Burritos as big as ur head like a Chipotle but this food was still pretty good. Seemed really authentic and not to pricey either. Now a days if I can get a meal at a restaurant for myself and not pay more then $20 with tip, I consider that average and almost cheap meal! Pretty sad but is what it is while our government is coming in to government roles just an average Joe, and retiring multi millionaires, but not from their salaries, no just mainly from side deals and stock info they get before us peon citizens even know what influenced the markets so much a certain way!“

“Great food. We've tried the gorditas, pastor tacos, quesadillas, elotes. The carnita tacos are great as well. Everything is delicious. We always call ahead and it's ready when we get there. They have spicy dipping sauces that go with everything. The green sauce is my favorite. Fast friendly service! Located in the parking lot of Cox's smokers on bardstown road. Great for late night eats.“
“We come here every week for $.99 street tacos on Tuesday. The chips and salsa are homemade and everything tastes like someone's grandma is in the back making it. Haven't had anything bad on the menu yet and the prices are very affordable. Plus the staff are very friendly and welcoming.“
“This is a fantastic whole in the wall. The Pupusas are a decent size and nicely stuffed. At first I was not a fan of paying 4 bucks a pupusa but after giving Senor Pupusas a try I would def keep coming back. The wait is long but this place is busy so it’s understandable. Pupusas come out cheesy and hot! Would recommend the owner adding empanadas to the menu!“
