“As always, we had an amazing time at Ash & Elm. The environment is relaxed and casual and we really enjoy a Saturday afternoon there. Wonderful flight, partner had Del Camino (he's getting it til it's gone) and teen had a Triple X. The rules (our rules) say we must get fries and we love them. We also had Brussels sprouts and they were delicious! Everyone always gets grilled cheese and we add in smash burgers- trust us! The staff there are always so kind and helpful. There's never been a bad experience! They are LQBTQA+ friendly and as allies, we appreciate that everyone is welcome!”

“Great food Small Space. So many great things to choose from you will need to make this dining journey several times or bring a group to share. The second is harder because the space is small. Your table will be full of food. Delicious food using seasonal ingredients and lots of spices and herbs. Our server helped us navigate our experience. Which was helpful being our first time here. He was attentive and made sure we were maximizing our journey. He paced the meal perfectly”

“What a gem of a restaurant! If you like ethnic food, especially Cuban, this is the place to go. We will gladly drive the distance to return. The food was the best Cuban food I have ever had. Be sure to get some cafe con leche while there. Delicioso! The live music was excellent, and the service was exceptional.

Parking: Only a handful of spots are available behind the restaurant. We had to do street parking. Glad that it was free and extremely close by.”

“We had only recently heard about Paseo, so had to try it. They have mastered the art of unique dining. Their dinner menu was filled with unusual options, so our group of four tried a little of everything we could. Our server was fast and very charming. She knew the menu and made excellent suggestions. Our choices were spectacular and reasonably priced. Our drinks were served promptly and were most refreshing. The outdoor seating by the pool was a perfect setting on a delightful evening. We will go back soon!”

“Come here every Saturday, not only for the great breakfast, but to visit the lovely Isora. I have never had a wrong order on her watch, and she ensures everything comes to table hot and fresh off the grill. We love her, and in my opinion gives me that welcome feel.”

“I have tried Indian food a couple times before (years ago), and did not like it. My husband loves Indian food, so we tried this restaurant for dinner. I cleaned my plate! Shrimp Tandoori was delicious, Naan, Tandoori Rito, Lamb Saag, Basmati Rice, Samosas, even the Chutney was wonderful, and let’s not forget Mango Lassi. The staff is also very friendly and attentive; we cannot wait to come back.”

“This is our favorite place to celebrate! I've been here with a small group of 2 and a large group of 9 and the service is always excellent, the food is hot and delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is perfect! I tried the Cioppino for the first time and it was so delicious! The prawns were enormous, as were the scallops. We can't resist the Roasted Brussel Sprouts and I'm not sure if the Baked Goat Cheese & Pita or the Whipped Feta & Pita are our favorite. Several in our party enjoyed the Braised Beef Short Rib which is NOT to be missed. We were so full, but couldn't leave without some of the Nutella Moussee - words cannot describe how delicious this is - and we tried the Warm Blondie because we just had to taste the rosewater vanilla ice cream! It did not disappoint! Maddy was an excellent, attentive server and gave us very good advice on our selections and the drink menu.”

“Great show, love the audience involvement. We were fortunate in that there was great audience participation and everyone just got into the storyline and added their own special antidotes. It was a really fun night out with a great group of people. Food was good but the entrees were warm on the side of being cold. I understand that it must be difficult serving that many people but like I said it was good so I wasn't too upset.”

“Date night at Seviche...when nothing short of perfection will suffice for an anniversary dinner. We began the evening with Guacamole a la Mesa with house made chips; for our main course, we both chose the Sustainable Salmon with charred mushroom chaufa, sesame mojo and crispy wontons; and to cap off a wonderful dinner, we indulged in a shared plate of “Black” Cherry Ice Cream (vanilla bean crema, bourbon, cherry puree), a fabulous concoction, which was as delicious as it was a feast for the eyes. Everything was prepared to perfection and beautifully presented. Sunday night dinner at Seviche features the option of half price bottles of wine, and we found our choice of Sonoma Cutrer to pair perfectly with our dishes. Service on this Sunday night was a little slower than usual, which I believe was not the fault of our server but, more likely, the result of a backup in the kitchen. However, it was a beautiful evening, we were seated outside and we were content just to relax and enjoy sipping our nice wine. In summary, whenever we want an outstanding meal, especially for special occasions, we know that we can never go wrong with Seviche.”

During the winter a restaraunt should not be colder inside then it is outside and usually this one is..”

“I’ve been pining to come here and try their lattes for a while and so glad that I finally did! We went on a Saturday and the staff was so sweet and helpful. I have celiacs so they made sure to ensure that any of their gluten free scones weren’t cross contaminated and also started me clear of drinks I couldn’t have. I ended up getting the chocolate scone and the Kiwa Signature iced latte. I love black sesame so this was a treat. My boyfriend got the Biscoff iced latte which came with a cookie! We can’t wait to come back and try more from the seasonal menu :) and I’ll be back to work remotely from this cafe soon for it’s serene atmosphere (it reminds me of an art gallery or an upscale cafe in a metro area)”

My boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy and he said besides my biscuits and gravy it was one of the best he has had. Can’t wait to come back and try more options. I had the marinated pork, fried pork, and chorizo tacos with spicy salsa and they were amazing. The meat is tender and flavorful and the price is SO reasonable! When I stopped by, they were pretty busy (3+ people ahead of me) and I got my order really quickly! I WILL be going back!”

“Dined here in early July. The food is to die for (especially a curry-style dish on the menu when we visited), the service is excellent (and not too hurried), and the ambiance is charming. The bread is also out of this world. The wine pairings also nicely complement the food, and the desserts are definitely worth having (especially the drunken banana cake). It is one of the nicest special occasion restaurants in Louisville. One caveat of interest to certain diners is the restaurants lax policy on pets. When we dined there, another table came in with a small dog. It wasn't a service or support dog because the diners kept passing it around the table, and even that table's server petted it. The dog's presence didn't bother us (it was well-behaved and quiet), but I could see some diners not enjoying dinner with a dog at the next table.”

“I've lived in Louisville all my life but this was my first time to Ruth's Chris steakhouse. We celebrated my 2 brothers 76th & 74th birthdays & it was so awesome! The side portions were huge so we all shared. The steaks were perfect and soooo delicious, as was the stuffed chicken breast! If you love chocolate, the chocolate sin cake is indescribable. Service was excellent, friendly & kind. Our server took pictures for us. She was exceptional. I can only say good things about our experience. We definitely made some great memories.

Vegetarian options: Lots of options sweet potato casserole, grilled asparagus, spinach, salad, baked potatoes, bread, au gratin, Mac & cheese, and they were all delicious. The portions are huge and can be shared between 2-3 people. The salads are delicious & the blue cheese & ranch dressing were thick and totally delicious.”

“On top of an exhaustive wine selection, Matt Winn’s Steakhouse boasts one of the largest bourbon collections in Bourbon Country, paired with a fine dining experience that overlooks the historic equine racetrack, Churchill Downs. Immediately entering, you are overwhelmed with a southern hospitality and a selection of beverages par, none. The interior is modeled in typical Col. My favorites are the Wabash chili dog and the Clark Street dog (omit the tomatoes). The Wabash chili dog hits my need of chili with freshly chopped onions, while the Clark Street gives me all things pickled! Anyone who knows me would be suprised to know this is a type of food I eat. Lonnie's made me a fan but for only Lonnie's! So, even if you do not like hot dogs ir chili... Lonnie's will make you a fan! “Traveling vegan stopped in here while I was seeing Louisville. Can’t say enough good things about this place. The chef and staff clearly care about what they do. The food was delicious. I got the bourbon and the bird and it did not disappoint. Such filling food well worth the price. Also really appreciated the attention to detail and cozy touches around the place. The feminine products in the bathroom were also very thoughtful (and handy, ladies, you know what I mean!)

Pick up farm fresh eggs, order a Farm to table libation, and the most delicious bites plates on could imagine! The assorted pickles are far out - try em'! Oh, and one MUST NOT forget about the white chocolate mousse - my lawd. I am now a fan of mousse! Beautiful art is available for adoption on the walls. And you can not go wrong with any of the libations. The flight is a STEAL! I can not remember the cocktail names ordered, but one was cherry focused. While the other is made with turmeric greens and gin. De-lish-must! I mean it. Go. Now!!!!”

Not only the “usuals” that get folks into trying Filipino dishes but a great and changing variety of things you may be trying for the first time. Ask questions and explore…you won’t be sorry! 100% recommend!”
