This was my first visit to Porcini, and it definitely won't be my last. From start to finish, everything was outstanding. We started with the calamari appetizer, and it was excellent. The Caesar salad was one of the better ones I've had. My gnocchi with the spicy sausage was absolutely fantastic and easily the highlight of the meal. Everyone else at the table thoroughly enjoyed their dishes as well, including the risotto with shrimp, the filet, and the lamb chops.

Went with a a few friends and it exceeded our expectations. Not only was the food delicious and fresh, but the service was unmatched. The owner even came and checked on us, great guy! Ambiance was very nice and relaxing, would for sure go again!

Porcini Restaurant in Louisville offers fantastic food quality, preparation, and presentation. The setting is formal enough to feel special yet comfortable, with a lovable ambience and neighborhood feel. Top dishes include Shrimp Risotto, Filet with gnocchi, and glazed salmon. The Caesar salad with anchovies was very salty, but the shrimp linguini was superb. The peach pudding dessert exceeded expectations. Food was outstanding and exceptional, with meals that felt like they came straight from Italy. Guests enjoyed great drinks and cocktails that are just right. Servers, including Harrison and Jennifer, were very attentive, knowledgeable, and kind, providing outstanding service. The owner greeted guests warmly, adding a welcoming touch. The restaurant was beautiful, and the food was amazing, making it a great place for special occasions or to introduce friends to top-notch cuisine in Louisville. Prices are reasonable, with a dinner for two costing around $150 including tip and drinks. Parking was an issue, but guests made it work. While the wine was considered overpriced, small adjustments in service could elevate the experience further. Overall, it offers a memorable dining experience.
