Food is astonishingly good. My only negative feedback......for the level of cost, I believe the service should be outstanding. I shouldn't have to ask for a refill of my beverage. Other than that, this is a go-to for excellent dining.

Another example of what passes as excellent in the backwoods. The risotto was undercooked, the filet and gnocchi was ok, the carbonara wasn't, in fact not recognizable as such, more marinara so left us wondering why it was so named. The place was packed, apparently with people who don't know better. That said, the ervice was excellent, as was the flatbread thst was off menu offered as a substitute for a pizza appetizer.

If you want Amazing authentic Italian! This is your place!Capasante Pan Seared Jumbo Diver Scallops, Braised Baby Greens, Crispy Polenta Cakes, Sweet and Spicy Pepper Jam and Veal meatballs for appetizers. Such Amazing flavors! Meatballs were so tender and you can’t go wrong with Diver Scallops.Entree’s ordered were Linguini Gamberi Palermo which was a perfect melody of flavors. So delicious! And the Gnocchi con Salsiccia was fire in every good way!!Highly recommend trying these dishes. Our waiter Giovanni was the BEST!!! So down to earth and personable. Really enjoyed our time there. Will definitely go back when in the area.

Have always had excellent meals in the past. This time the restaurant was very crowded, so service was a slow tho our waiter was pleasant. My pork dish was not cooked completely. By the time it returned from the kitchen, my companions had finished their meal.

Server was very attentive until our food was delivered. She never checked back to ask how our meal was... we had someone else get us fresh pepper. My husband's mashed potatoes were cold, the pork chop was a bit too charred and yet the inner meat was merely medium very pink and a bit undercooked for pork. My carbonara was not the typical with a cheese/white sauce but a creamy tomato with rubbery pieces of chicken. I will state that the Appetizer of scallops was absolutely delicious, the drinks were fantastic and the charred Romain salad was very good. Unfortunately the service and our entrees were lacking for what Porcinis is known to offer.

The restaurant was so busy tonight. Our server Morgan was awesome! We had a nice dinner and really enjoyed her service. Hoping you are as thankful for her hard work and great service as we are. Thanks for a nice

Dimmed lighting to offer a romantic setting amid the elegances of the interior. The food was solid; particularly the Scallops and the pork chop dish. I felt the veal could have been improved, it looked a little bland. Overall a pleasant meal with a good ambiance.

Consistently good food, excellent service and a special night out define this restaurant. Our server, Morgan, was attentive even given their short staffed evening. We love this restaurant and would recommend to anyone.

Lovely atmosphere and kind manager. However, the service was poor. Three waitresses intermittently visited our table to bring food/drinks out. Our orders were not taken until 35 minutes into our visit. The drinks were delicious, though. The Caesar salad and bread were superb- the best salad I think I have ever eaten before. However, the gnocchi dishes were lukewarm. The flavor was quite delicious and rich, though. The cheese and pasta sauce were very fresh. Unfortunately, my girlfriend and I both had digestion issues after eating the food. My guess is that the food might have been sitting out for too long. Overall, it was a fair experience. However, the price is simply too high for mediocre dining and service. My girlfriend was given a rose for Valentine's Day, so that was very kind of the staff.

fantastic Italian cuisine, took my wife for a nice dinner on Valentine's day, they had a special menu for the occasion and it was terrific. We were seated promptly and the food came out quickly and the order was correct. Our server was attentive and very pleasant. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for Italian in Louisville.

My Fiancé and I celebrated Valentine's Day here. Porcini has a very intimate atmosphere and was the perfect place to eat for this occasion. The food was on point: piping hot and bursting with flavor. After dinner, we couldn't land on a decision as to which course was our favorite— it was all so good! 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be returning in the future.

It was our first time in and we had a great experience. Our server was very attentive without coming by too often. The food and drinks were outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on a great date night.

The food was excellent and Bret our server did a great job. Initially were asked to sit at a high top in an aisleway and when we asked for another seat we were moved to the outdoor area. We were the only people there until the end of our meal when another couple was seated nearby. I'm not sure why we were moved outside since we had a reservation and the restaurant was almost empty when we got there. In the future I'll be more specific on my reservation on seating preference.

We have had great experiences in the past but our meal was so disappointing on 2/13/2024. The highlight was the appetizer ... artichoke hearts. They were delicious. My salad was supposed to be a kale and brussel sprout salad. Unfortunately the kitchen must not have had kale. They substituted field greens. Had I been told kale wasn't available, I would have ordered differently. My greatest disappointment was with my entree. I ordered salmon with Tuscan white beans. The beans were not cooked properly. They weren't done ... still crunchy and the salmon was SO salty. It was inedible. My husband was displeased with his entree, as well. My dessert was described as a chocolate raspberry cake. What was delivered was more of a dry brownie. I'm not sure what happened to one of our favorite restaurants but we couldn't have been more disappointed. We won't be back.
