“Not only was the food creative and delicious, the restaurant offers a true dining experience with great attention to detail. “Staff was the rudest I have ever encountered at the Middletown location. I also witnessed extreme rudeness to a door dash driver who had clearly been waiting a while and when they asked about the order having been marked 10 minutes ago as ready they were told "We don't care about YOUR numbers, we have to appear to be on time." He looked like management. I turned and left, I will not do business with someone being rude to staff or anyone providing a service to them any more than rudeness to customers.“

“Excellent service and savory dishes.
We were late due to traffic and when I called to let them know, they told me to stop by. This was at 9:45pm, they close at 10pm.
I told them I didn’t have to bother their team but they insisted.
We enjoyed our dinner, I showed my appreciation with a very generous tip, as their professionalism and consideration was beyond what many restaurants showcase nowadays.
Thank you guys, we’ll come back at a decent time next time we’re in Louisville!“

“I ordered the BBQ platter. I am a foodie person and always looking for quality food. 2nd time visiting. The meats was good and seasoned. The macaroni & cheese was very dried tasted as if it's been reheated instead of fresh. Greens was good. I will not be getting macaroni anymore. 😒“

“Brilliantly planned and conceived menu that featured high quality food that was creatively prepared. The portions were generous for a tasting menu. We really enjoyed that we were not at all rushed through our meal nor was there a long lag between courses. A truly memorable experience.“

“We really enjoyed the meal and our server. The dining room is very nice. However, I rated them down one star because the bar is open to the dining room. There was a very loud customer at the bar whose loud talk and braying laugh made a conversation in the dining room almost impossible at times.“

“Great drinks, great food, great service. Fantastic river views from patio. But for the LOVE OF GOD, invest in some tabletop fly swatter things. Our dinner was ruined by the flies. Those things cost about $5 on Amazon. Buy them. Or come up with something else. I’ve eaten at the state fair and had less issues with flies“

“For my sons birthday, Jacob Withrow ,he wanted family to meet at the Village Anchor (10 of us ) We all have been raving over how good the food was after we left there yesterday. It all came out in a timely manner and done the way we asked , and Bravo to the chef. Our waitress Melissa was fantastic she was on to of everything and made sure we all were taken care of and happy . My husband is very picky when it comes to food and he was absolutely gives 10 stars to the Village Anchor. We all said we would make the 2 1/2 hour drive to eat there again. This was a great choice my son Jasob Withrow made. You did very well Village Anchor !!!! Peggy Hubbard, Somerset Ky.“
“Every item was delicious and completely fresh. Alot of places don't provide freshly fried chicken or fish. BSC does it so well. All of the sides were fragrant and wonderfully portioned. Great all around meals for the price point as well. I will definitely keep ordering here.“

“We have ate here at least 5 times and every time the food & service has been great !! We first ate Gus’s in Memphis and have also been to the one in Little Rock . We were happy to find out we have our own Gus’s right here in Louisville !!! If you have never had it you need to try it . It will not disappoint !!!“
