“Whew buddy! Now that I eat meat, you CAN NOT WILL NOT keep me from Lonnie's! A family run business built with heart, dedication, and flavor! My favorites are the Wabash chili dog and the Clark Street dog (omit the tomatoes). The Wabash chili dog hits my need of chili with freshly chopped onions, while the Clark Street gives me all things pickled! Anyone who knows me would be suprised to know this is a type of food I eat. Lonnie's made me a fan but for only Lonnie's! So, even if you do not like hot dogs ir chili... Lonnie's will make you a fan! Not to mention the kind conversation while waiting for your freshly made order!“

“Very good place to go for a good meal. Take a jacket or sweater if you are cold nature like me, reason I was cold but I had two cups of coffee.

Just a hint I noticed outside dining maybe consider making it screened in. The Pork Loin, Prime rib, Salmon, broccoli, smashed potatoes, baked potatoes. And our appetizer was the Mexico City Spinach Con Queso with tortilla chips.

“Large selection of bourbons and have few options for flights and great cocktails. As far as food is considered they have small but focused menu one for each variety to satisfy the craving of the day. Portion is decent.

Vegetarian options: Some dishes they can make in veg variant but this is more for experience bourbon after office hr is a relaxed ambience.“

“We took our out of town guests yesterday. Our server Jessica was amazing! She really made our night! (If you are reading this Jessica, y’all/yins did a great job! Lol.) Everyone loved their cocktails. The pork chop was very tasty and perfectly cooked, loved the shrimp and grits… so flavorful! The salmon was also delicious! We had the cheese and hummus plate as a starter and I was not a fan. The hummus was gummy and had an odd flavor. The rest of our group didn’t mind it. I could have had the bruschetta as my meal… yum! For dessert we had the bread pudding and asked to have some bourbon to pour on top (so good!), the lava cake (wow) and the brûlée (coffee flavored and very nice). We were the last to leave and Jessica and the rest of the staff treated us if we had all the time in the world. We so appreciated that! Our experience was so special! Thank you!“

I'll definitely be back! Prices were not bad either. $15.99 was the most expensive thing I saw which was not even bad considering it was a ribeye!“

The reason for a line when you come in the door is the owners personal touch while taking your order. Don't let a line scare you away because food is prepared fresh for each order.

“This was my first visit. My husband brought a takeout of liver and onions before, which was delicious! That's why I wanted to eat there. This time, I had breakfast. Scramble eggs, home fries and onions, bacon, and a biscuit with a side of gravy. It was yummy, so was the coffee. It's a good distance from where I live, but I'll definitely return. A real down-home feeling to this restaurant. The banana pudding looked so tasty that we brought some home. Loved it!

“Had dinner at Swizzle tonight, with my husband. We started with drinks at the bar. Robin was great, greeted us and told us about the happy hour specials. We had reservations, so after enjoying our cocktails at the bar we were seated in the part of restaurant that slowly spins. The views were amazing, as the room slowly turns the view are always changing. Brittany was our waitress, she was friendly, knowledgable and made our dinner experience wonderful. Food was awesome, hubby had a filet and I had the gnocchi, both entrees were delicious. Highly recommend, 5 stars all around.“

“Come here every Saturday, not only for the great breakfast, but to visit the lovely Isora. I have never had a wrong order on her watch, and she ensures everything comes to table hot and fresh off the grill. We love her, and in my opinion gives me that welcome feel.“

“Have been wanting to try this place for a while and today my boyfriend surprised me for a brunch date. Everything tasted so good. I had the French toast and bacon and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy and he said besides my biscuits and gravy it was one of the best he has had. Can’t wait to come back and try more options. “Dined here with a couple friends yesterday late morning/early afternoon for a quick lunch/brunch. Super cute spot. We were seated quickly and the waitress was friendly. After ordering, the portion sizes were HUGE. The cornbread and honey were spot on.

Unfortunately, the entrees weren't very flavorful. We were all a little disappointed in the taste and felt it was a little overpriced for the flavor being so bland. (We ordered avocado toast and the farmhouse biscuit).“

“We had an excellent experience at drakes. our server was excellent. Olivia was sweet and helpful and just over all a very good server. she is an asset to the restaurant. we had the chicken sandwich, the fish tacos and the Buffalo mac and cheese. it was served quickly and was very good. we finished it off with a cookie and ice cream. it was all so good. such a good meal, we will absolutely be back. highly recommend this place.“

“The owner and his staff are very friendly. The restaurant is really clean on the inside. The first time I ordered, I got a rib tip dinner with greens and Mac and cheese. The second time, I only ordered rib tips and one of the staff asked me did I want sides. I told them no because I had sides at home. I let them know that the Mac and cheese was not so great and the owner came out and apologized for that and gave me a free slice of cake to make up. I thought that was really nice of him. He told me that he appreciated my feedback. I still visit every weekend and I get rib tips, greens and potato salad now and a slice of cake but I gotta get it early before it sells out.“

“It’s my “go to” spot in Louisville. I love a mixture of ethnicities more than I do a “one or the other” type of bar. Wish there was more than 1 pool table. But, there’s ample outside seating!!
