Since it was December, they had some holiday themed drinks and I tried the white Christmas which is a white chocolate mocha and cinnamon flavor. “We visited on Monday, January 1st, and enjoyed the amazing food, particularly the thin crust and cheese bread appetizer. The waitress was fantastic, but the highlight was when I realized I lost a sentimental item – a "little people" doll I’ve had my whole life. I let my 1-year-old play with it briefly. After realizing it was missing, I returned to the restaurant, shared its importance, and the staff went above and beyond, even searching through the trash. The doll was found and I'm truly grateful for their exceptional service, and if I could, I would give both the food and staff a 20-star rating. Thank you for everything.“

“Came in here a couple times. Place is pretty new. I’m service industry myself so I pay attention to details when I go out. First thing I noticed is that it is very clean. Looked behind the bar and everything is spotless and polished. Food? Had the Philly cheesesteak a couple months back and it was phenomenal. Boyfriend had one of the burgers and said it was really good as well. Drinks? Pretty standard menu for a neighborhood bar, we just had wine and beer. Service? Had the same bartender both time, Ferrell(I think) and he was attentive, prompt and friendly. Other neat things? Patio. There is nothing else close enough with a patio around so that’s nice. Overall- it’s a very pleasant place and I would love to see more people notice it. I think it has potential to be a cool local hangout for this area“

“From out of town and was recommended this place for pizza by a local at the gas station. To our surprise it was super delicious. It was also cool to see that they have a Gibbon challenge that's on YouTube. Had wings as an app and they were saucy and the ranch tasted homemade. We split a 15 inch piggy pizza and had so much to take home. Service was friendly and timely. It was so mouth watering. Def recommend.“
“Local favorite as I understand. This was the second time I've had lunch here and again Tim Tam's didn't disappoint. I had the mini tacos and if you have ever eaten at a fast food place called Jack in the Box you know the snack tacos. Now I know this sounds like a dig but stay with me. They remind me of those except smaller but they taste so good, addicting. I did have what the locals call Crack Sticks, now these are Bread Sticks with butter and garlic dressing on top that's basically a sauce. I can feel my arteries hardening while talking about it. “I'm not sure that I even want you to know about this place because it's the kind of bar that you want to stay exactly the way it is and NOT change one bit. I learned of this bar last fall when my dad and I threw a co-birthday party (he turned 70 and of course I was turning 21 for the 20th time, ha!) and since it's his favorite neighborhood watering hole we decided to host it there. All I can say is I have zero regrets! First of all, the folks that work here are very nice and while they obviously know whether you're a regular or not...they welcome you and treat you kindly either way. The drink prices are hard to beat too! They might not have the fanciest beverages in town but if you can't find something to sip on here then I think you should just stay home. Ok, here's the part I'd rather not tell you about but I guess I will just to give more props to Old Rascals. They have karaoke on 2 nights every week. Yep!! And the karaoke dude, Steve, is truly a gem! He's super nice and makes you feel like you're part of the family. I'm serious. I mean I feel like I'm ready for American Idol based on his complimentary reactions to my performances. Oh, and even if there is a long list of singers (which there often is), he is fair with the rotation. What a nice relief for a karaoke bar, AMIRIGHT?!? The catalog of songs is basically infinite as far as I can tell, and if he doesn't know a song he'll let you help him search for it...because he wants YOU TO BE HAPPY! There are 2 microphones for your use, one of which is wireless. He even brings cleaning wipes in case you're a bit of germ-a-phobe and want to clean the mic off for your turn. Of course, if you aren't into karaoke it's still a chill little spot to pop into for a drink or two when you're not trying to go wild on the nightlife scene. Everyone who hangs out here is friendly. And I don't mean fake smile, nosy ass neighbor type vibes...I mean genuine humans who are just happy to be there and glad to welcome you to their bar too. I cannot believe I've only just now found my new (not in my) neighborhood bar after all these years. My dad really held out on sharing this one. I love this place! PRO TIP: Do not show up here trying to be a total hipster, expecting something trendy, and/or looking for any bar drama. Old Rascals doesn't throw that type of party. You're welcome for sharing this Louisville secret with you. Now don't tell anyone else. :)“
