Good bar food, great patrons to shoot pool with, and even karaoke?! Not much more I can personally ask for with a bar. (A professional custom martini list would be all.) They have it going on here. Probably my favorite bar in Louisville, thus far. Will be back! Shoutout to the bartenders, especially Maddie.

The New View Bar & Grill offers a mellow atmosphere with billiard tables, slot machines, and big screen monitors. The bartenders are friendly, and the establishment is clean and wheelchair accessible. The menu features generous portions, including the well-above-average cod dinner, at reasonable prices. This is a home bar for many, with a great atmosphere, phenomenal food, and fantastic bartenders. Karaoke is available 6 nights a week, and the bar hosts the Alpha Pool League on Monday and Thursday evenings. The bar has 4 DIAMOND pool tables and a Touch Tunes jukebox, but it's cash-only with an ATM on-site. The best liver and onions meal in Louisville, Kentucky, is served with green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy on the first Thursday of each month for $11.50, and it must be consumed on-site.
