“Love this place, anytime my wife and I come to Louisville we usually eat here a couple of times during our stay. Kinda hit or miss for us since we’re vegan, sometimes the vegan cheese pizza is good and sometimes it’s real gummy. Overall pretty solid.Vegetarian options: Vegan cheese!Dietary restrictions: Vegan friendly options availableParking: You can park out front or across the street the street for free street parking. I always park on the side street next to it as there’s always spots.“
“First time trying Lupo and would definitely go back! Pepperoni pizza, pasta with pork, and cabbage were all very tasty options. The pizza crust was perfect and pizza itself had the right amount of toppings. Ranch was great. Overall the flavors were spot on and it looks like they have a great variety of unique flavor combinations. Nice patio seating and decently quick service. The restaurant itself was clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. They have a parking lot right next to the building, but it was full so we parked in the overfill lot across the street (not far at all) Would recommend!“
“We had dinner there last night with some of our family for our grandson’s birthday. The food was excellent! The service was superb with all the waitresses being so friendly and exceptionally helpful to us. It was a wonderful birthday celebration and we will definitely be going back to “bar Vetti” again and highly recommend it to all our friends. Thank you for a great evening!“
“My sister and I shared a wonderful evening at Cuvee last night. We overindulged on some recommended reds, and thoroughly enjoyed sharing a few small plates and the dinner special of salmon over fettuccini pasta. We were pampered by the staff and treated to a birthday dessert. We can't wait to come back.“
“I was looking for a non chain pizza place and I stumbled upon a recommendation for pizzaville and let me tell you when I saw a chili cheese dog pizza I was sold and had to try this asap. Absolutely one of the best executed non traditional pizzas I've ever had! Loved every single morsel. I will be back just as soon as possible to try all the other great looking pies on the menu as well as a few other offerings they serve. Do yourself a favor and give Pizzaville a try, well worth it and fairly priced.“
“Great pizza, wings, and sandwiches at a great price. I've been there a dozen times and Chef John is amazing. he sponsors countless kids and organizations and I've personally seen this man not charge people for their food. Brightens my day every time I go. Kudos sir!“
“Micah was the best we will be coming back for every date night he accompanied us very well and explained everything in detail I really needed help and he helped me anywayVegetarian options: YeaDietary restrictions: Don’t knowParking: GreatKid-friendliness: Perfect yesWheelchair accessibility: Perfect“
“Placed an order through the app big mistake! Ordered wings half bbq and half buffalo they came naked with the sauce in cups. I requested for them to be well done assuming that they would be after being tossed in the sauce. No, the pizza was well-done smh and mainly crust and cheese for a meatlovers no sir! To pay $50+ for a small pizza and 12 dried up, flavorless, sauceless baby wings that you have to sauce yourself is outrageous! Never again!“
“We were in Louisville to visit out daughter at UofL and she decided on Parlour for lunch. This was the best food I have had in a long time and the service was great too! We will go again!Parking: Parking was free on the streets since it was a Sunday. Normally it would be paid parking with meters.“
“We have been to both locations and the food is consistently so good! It’s always nice to get the opportunity to select different slices as opposed to having to get a whole pie. Tonight our 2.5 year old made her pizza, as kids get to go on Tuesday’s, and she absolutely loved it. The staff was so friendly; the gentleman who seemed like he was the manager was very friendly & helpful to both customers and his young staff - which is so important. We will definitely keep enjoying pies at both locations!“
“I got the white lasagna and let me tell you it was God awful horrible. I asked for Italian sausage thinking it was going to be Big and chunky Italian sausage and it was crumbled up Italian sausage. I should have just gotten the regular lasagna. I do not recommend this dish.“
“Our volleyball team ate here after our tournament play on Friday, 4/14/23. The pizza was out of this world, and the lasagna was a huge hit. Most of the team got pizza and every one was raving about how good everything was. Definitely an awesome local Louisville spot and an A+ from AIM 16 Black out of Hillsborough, NC....until next time.“
“Came down to Louisville for my brother's birthday, and since we're self-proclaimed pizza aficionados, we chose to try this establishment after watching a more than convincing vid from a Louisville Youtuber on their deep dish pizza. It was pretty busy for an early Sunday afternoon and bustling with families. The decor is 1970s to a tee with lots of dark brown accents, but didn't appear to be "run-down" or "smelly" as other reviews indicated. We chose their deep dish pizza or how they refer to it as "pie" baked in a cast iron frying pan. It takes about an hour to cook so we ordered ahead and we forgot until we arrived that it's cash-only. It was a unique tasting pizza unlike any deep dish I've had before. I liked the mixing of all of the flavors from bite one, although the combination of veggies watered things down quite a bit. It didn't come pre-sliced which was disappointing as I'm not much of a pie cutter, and it made a kind of a mess as the crust is very thick and dense. Don't expect a buttery and flaky crust as it requires such a dough consistency to bake and hold everything together in the first place. I personally wasn't a fan of the crust, although my brother was. I would've preferred it softer so it could be easier to cut and have a mouthful of both the pizza contests and crust at the same time. I ended up scooping the contents from the pizza and leaving the crust alone. I would've liked to have tried their thin-crust as well, but was way too full. Maybe next time if we're ever down in Louisville again.“
“Some of the best pizza I've eaten came from Coals. The ambience is as good as the food! Their prices are in line with what you get and they have a good selection of beers, cocktails, wines, and sodas. We'll definitely recommend and return to Coals. Great food!Kid-friendliness: Great place to take behaved kids.“
“We visited on Monday, January 1st, and enjoyed the amazing food, particularly the thin crust and cheese bread appetizer. The waitress was fantastic, but the highlight was when I realized I lost a sentimental item – a "little people" doll I’ve had my whole life. I let my 1-year-old play with it briefly. After realizing it was missing, I returned to the restaurant, shared its importance, and the staff went above and beyond, even searching through the trash. The doll was found and I'm truly grateful for their exceptional service, and if I could, I would give both the food and staff a 20-star rating. Thank you for everything.“
“The pizza is delicious and unique. We dined in last year but did take out this year. The pickle pizza is tangy but not over powering and the build your own is definitely worth it if you have littles with you. These are true NYC slice sizes, be aware when ordering!“
“We’ve eaten at the other two locations before. Very good pizza. We purchased a Margherita Thin plus stuffed mushrooms to go. Probably shouldn’t have tried to go mushrooms. They tasted okay but not great. Unfortunately the pizza was also not that good. I’m assuming it was just a bad day. The dinner salad was mostly the thick/white part of iceberg lettuce. The location is a great pizza ambiance. High ceilings. Nice bar area. Next time we’re eating here.Parking: It’s in a strip mall. Plenty of parking.“
“Red Hot Chicken!? Red Hot Chicken would be better described as a mediocre, beer, pub buffalo chicken wings. Today the chicken was chewy and overcooked. Buffalo sauce would've been more mirrored to a place where they wear Tight shorts and tight shirts. Overall fabulous experience. Wonderful menu, great staff and the crabcakes are to fight for. Biggest suggestion I could make would be that the restaurant provide a lunch menu so as not to confuse the guest with items that were not able to be purchased until after 5 PM. When I return, it will definitely be after 5 PM and I'm looking forward to trying the lamb and the spaghetti.“
“We are in town for hockey this weekend and needed a place to grab an appetizer or two for lunch. Found Craft House Pizza on my maps app and headed over. We ordered the baked meatballs and bacon cheese fries. Oh so good! The marinara sauce was fabulous and the meatballs moist and seasoned well! The bacon cheese fries were delicious with their melted mozzarella and ranch for dipping. Our waitress super nice and helpful. Everything was so good, we went back for dinner. Dinner was a bacon cheeseburger pizza and we added their spicy pickles to it and asked for marinara as the base in stead of pizza sauce. NO REGRETS! It was the best pizza we've had in a long while! Ordered an old fashioned and their local beer that was similar to a Blue Moon. Both were great. Evening hours were busy but not packed. Great music, bar type atmosphere. Another great waitress that was super fun and friendly and helpful. Highly recommend eating here if you're in town! Next time we are here, we WILL come back! Forgot to take pictures, just trust everything looked as good as it tasted!“
“Our first time at Sarino, definitely not our last. Superb. Food was great. One of the best Italian restaurants in Louisville. Great atmosphere, I really like the building. We ate indoor but unique and cool outdoor seating. Carbanara was fantastic. Friendly service.“
“I tipped the lovely young lady who sat us, as well as another waitress who helped us because our waitress wasn't around. After taking our order and bringing our food out, I don't think we saw her again at our table. I did see her running around to other customers though. As always, great food! We will be back, hopefully to a different waitress ?“
“When we walked in I was sure it was not kid friendly due to the live band, I was wrong! We ALL enjoyed ourselves and the food was AMAZING!!! We will def be back, only with more people!!! #blindsquirrelrestaurant #blindsquirrel #buzzyboothVegetarian options: n/aKid-friendliness: Very much so!“
“First visit me and my wife went on a Thursday evening. I ordered the cheese steak and they suggested getting it on their home made flatbread. Wow! Best cheese steak I have ever had, and I am 58 years old. The flatbread was also amazing, will go back many times, awesome food.“
“Love this pizza. #1 in Louisville. Ingredients: great quality. Real cheese. Price is a bit higher but for what you get... chefs kiss. Employees are friendly and the bardstown road location is set up nice. Not too loud not too quiet with TVs.“
“A classic Louisville pizza spot (well, spots, I suppose, there are--happily--several locations...the one by Bowman Field is my usual). Pizza is great: it's an almost crackery crust, but not quite, giving it a unique, crispy bite that still has a little pleasant chew to it; plenty of toppings to choose from (and they're not stingy with them!); sauce is tasty, slightly sweet in a good way). There are other options too, some sandwiches and pastas (fond of the breadsticks--basically the pizza crust, dusted with some seasoning, pizza sauce and garlic butter for dipping; my daughter loves the baked spaghetti...she tends to have good taste!). Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is about as casual as can be (not divey, mind you, just super laid back). Stop in, enjoy some "Louisville style pizza" as they say in their ads!“
“We're obsessed with this place. My husband says it's possibly the best pizza he's ever had and he's not wrong. I love all the other things, brie dip, hummus, mushroom soup, etc.Kid-friendliness: They are super kind to the kids we bring. We always sit at the booth/chair combo table which is good for trapping squirmy children.“
“Always clean. Always excellent sandwiches. We are from out of town and stop every time we are down in Louisville. They have Cinnabon too. Need I say more? ?Kid-friendliness: Such a big menu choice and of course pizzas. So kids like this place usually. Food is well made.“
“Walked in to a fresh, hot, delicious slice of pizza after waiting at Spinelli's for one slice of cheese and a beer for 45 minutes only to be told they messed up and it would be another half hour before my single slice was ready. Goodfella's made my night better!“
“This is my go-place for plzza and wings. The pasta and sandwiches are also quite good. Two of the serving people, Matthew and Hanna, have been the ones to take care of me. Both are friendly and very efficient. I try to visit on nights when one or both are on staff. With so many TVs it's easy to find something to watch. It's a large place, but the noise level is not objectionable.“
“Pizza made in front of you, pick the toppings, 1 or 5 or more. Thin crust white sauce or red, cheese or no cheese. Then into a Fire Oven out comes Delicious! Best Pizza you have ever Tasted. “I love their pizza. It's fresh and doesn't taste like the typical pizza restaurant chains.Vegetarian options: Spinach, olives, pineapple, and the list goes on.Dietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten-free, vegetarianKid-friendliness: It's fun for the whole family. They even had a balloon artist on Pi Day.“
“Ate lunch at southside of Louisville Kentucky. Very friendly and very clean. Debbie S. Is great. She took our order and brought it to us with fresh breadsticks. She was running the front of the restaurant ( by herself) and had everything under control. I wanted to share and hope the company is aware of her exceptional service. Cooks are great too. Food was fresh and hot. Wish we had this where we lived.“
“Place is great every time we go. But, I do hate the tipping portion that's asked for. We get our own cup, plate, food, etc. They do clean the tables off, but not sure that's worth 20 percent or more. I do still highly recommend the place - it's delicious, and price point is good.“
“Great Italian restaurant with a fun atmosphere. The food is excellent and the portion sizes are ridiculously large. The calzone is huge. I love the chicken parmesan pizza style. The bread the serve too! I always leave this place stuffed! Service staff are very attentive. Great local restaurant.“
“We went here for a bingo event and had an absolute blast! I wont lie, when we first walked in the vibe just seemed off. We weren't greeted by anyone and had no clue where to sit or how to order drinks or food. We finally asked one of the staff members and got it all figured out. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was very friendly! The bingo event was so much fun and we won a bunch of really cool prizes! We will definitely be returning!“
“I am on the carnivore diet and have lost 71 lbs. I have broken that diet only on 3 spwcial cheat day occasions. The only time I felt the cheat day was worth it was at Bearno's by the Bridge. They had a super thin crust pizza where the toppings were thicker than the crust. It was very good pizza to go along with the very good service.“
“First time here and the place is amazing! Food is absolutely delicious with tons of flavor ?, great music playing in the background ?, and staff made it a wonderful first time experience ?Parking: Park right on the street with direct street view access“
“From out of town and was recommended this place for pizza by a local at the gas station. To our surprise it was super delicious. It was also cool to see that they have a Gibbon challenge that's on YouTube. Had wings as an app and they were saucy and the ranch tasted homemade. We split a 15 inch piggy pizza and had so much to take home. Service was friendly and timely. It was so mouth watering. Def recommend.“
“I just played RCPL free poker here. They play here every day. It's a fun atmosphere, and since it's free, a good time with only your drinks as a cost. If you play you should support the venue so they keep giving us a place to play, oh and tip your dealers if you can.“
“Excellent pizza place! The pizza-by-the-slice option did not disappoint in quantity or flavor, and the breadsticks were delicious. The atmosphere is very laid back - it has that old “tavern” charm. We’ll definitely be back for more good food soon.“
“We had a pizza door dashed last year when my son was admitted to Children's Hospital and it was too late for the kitchen to be open, the new Subway on the first floor was closed, and if my son didn't eat within 1 hr he wouldn't be allowed to due to Lots of tests being done the next morning. The delivery was quick!!! The food was Amazing ??? I highly recommend there Large pizza ? and their chicken Alfredo with bacon!!!“
“PLEASE READ!!!This was mine and my fiancee's favorite place when living in KY, but we moved across the country last year. He went back to visit family while I stayed behind. Before coming home, he picked up a Calzone and and their housemade ranch then drove it all the way back home to Utah for me!!!!! Even reheated, their food is amazing!!! It was great to enjoy a bit of home even being so far away.(He kept it in a cooler and refreshed the ice every stop at a gas station, not just left out in the open)Thank you Parlour crew for all the great food and many great memories; both in the restaurant and at home with take out for date night in ♥️“
“Long ago it felt like we came to Za's 2x/month and this continued for several years until we burned out. I'm sorry Za's, we'll be back soon! We came on a Saturday afternoon and our party of 8 easily got a table. Exactly how we remember, Za's lighting was dim and the windows were open. It was a bit warmer and we all felt a little flushed by the end of the meal. More air flow was needed. The breadsticks were amazing! A large amount, each one big, nicely seasoned and the marinara was flavorful. The cheese sticks were okay but didn't get me as excited. We had three pizzas amongst us and everyone chose a pick your own for toppings. Be warned that asking to split toppings on half the pizza is a charge for each one, despite using less. Service was friendly and fast. Our tickets got a bit jumbled and were fixed. Street parking. Many meters must be paid on the main strip, excluding Sundays.“
“If it's summer you absolutely should be here sitting outside. But it also has to be noted their take out team are superstars. Incredibly kind staff over the phone & you can order far ahead of time! The margarita pizza is truly mouth watering. I truly love it.“
“Place was empty, except one table who already had their food, I walked in on my lunch break, and was wondering if they were closed. For about 5 minutes. Pizza was good. But 30 minutes for 1 pizza is a long wait, could only imagine what it's like when it's full of people.“
“We stayed at the hotel across the street. The front desk recommended this as a local place to eat. We ordered the cheese bread and BBQ chicken pizza, to go. The staff was friendly, the order was accurate, the food was excellent. I recommend giving this place a try.“
“Handful of machines out of order, specifically ones that capture photos. I was looking forward to getting a photo keepsake with my boys. We had a good time besides a few incidents where other guest weren't supervising their children, small children 1-4yr of age. Super overwhelming for my small kids when I put him on a single person ride and 3 other kids try to jump ontop of it. The staff that oversee birthday partys did a great job in organizing and keeping the schedule. Bringing the drinks and food, cake, ice cream, ect.“
“First time customer from Mt. Washington looking for something different. We ordered the grilled buffalo on thin crust and meatball on hand tossed by pick up. Pizza was ready upon arrival and the staff was friendly. Good pizza with the right amount of sauce so it's not messy. We will be returning for dinner on the patio.“
“We went to MozzaPi with our 4 year old grandson last night and had the best pie! The staff are amazing, welcoming and kind. We had a little spill incident with the 4 yo and they were so very understanding. Thank you to the lovely woman at the order counter. She rocks! The food was outstanding! Did I mention the food and how excellent it was? Well go and see for yourself. Highly recommended. We will be returning.“
