“Just had a wonderful experience, the staff was awesome at explaining everything to us as newbies. Took my husband axe throwing for Father’s Day and we had a blast! The atmosphere was lowkey and unassuming, and the other players were awesome at rooting everyone on despite us all being strangers. “I placed an online order that was sent to door dash to deliver. When I got my order the dasher took a BITE of my boyfriend’s personal pan pizza, took my daughter’s pepperoni pizza, and my extra garlic bread. Here is the kicker I TIPPED 15% when I checked out, SO I’M INSTANTLY IRRITATED!! I called Derby City ofc they didn’t answer because it’s a busy Friday night. When I got there and told them what happened and showed them the food I received, the manager immediately called Door Dash and got the driver banned from delivering at any of their stores. At 9:54PM right as they were preparing to close they made my entire order over and gave us FREE brownies & drinks. The manager took it a step further and refunded my money on her own. “This place is simply Mecca when it comes to pizza in the south end. The history, Ray being there every day, the old school fireplace, the kings wooden table and even back in the day when they had the piano.

Bonnie and Clyde has the best pizza in Louisville and I will say that until my dying day. You walk in and immediately feel and smell the culture of that place. I've been going there for over 33 years and I will go there until my last day.

Being cash only is one of the historical caveats you must deal with when attending this establishment.

“I've always enjoyed Blaze Pizza because I can build my pizza exactly the way I like it. It never gets old, and it's always delicious.
This location at Paddock Shops feels much bigger than other Blaze restaurants I've visited, and the atmosphere is open and relaxing. It's a great place to enjoy a meal with family.
One of the best parts is that after dinner, we can walk around and do a little shopping, which makes the whole outing even more enjoyable.
This has become our family's favorite pizza place, and we'll definitely keep coming back!“

We overindulged on some recommended reds, and thoroughly enjoyed sharing a few small plates and the dinner special of salmon over fettuccini pasta. We were pampered by the staff and treated to a birthday dessert. We can't wait to come back.“

“I’m not a huge fan of pizza but when I’m in the mood for it I need a pizza that’s saucy and loaded with toppings.
I ordered a Craft House Special pizza and a Pizza Salad with ranch.
Never have I ever had a heavy salad 🤣🤣 That thang was loaded with toppings! I typically have to add toppings to my salad once I get home but this salad I had to literally remove toppings because there were more toppings than lettuce. (This is not a complaint by any means)
I did however request for my pizza to be baked well done because I enjoy a crispy crust. Next time I will be sure to also request extra sauce because either there was very little sauce applied or the extra bake time dried it out somehow.
Nonetheless the food was tasty and I will likely return the next time my taste buds call for pizza and salad. 🤤 🍕 🤤“

“While traveling in Louisville, we decided we had to try Louisville style pizza, of course. The recommendation from Google and Yelp was Impellizzeri's hands down, so off we went! We arrived about 7 on Saturday night, it was busy, but we were able to be seated within 10 min. Amazing location with street parking available. Great selection of Bourbon and beers available, and a great menu. They offer 4 styles of pizza: thin, original, thick, and Sicilian. We went with original, and it was perfect crust, with a chewy edge. Louisville style is two layers of cheese and toppings, with a slightly thicker than thin crust. We loved it, but it's very filling. Lots of leftovers, which is never bad. We always get 16in to maximize our slice to pizza ratio. Service was fast and attentive, their pizzas do take longer than your average, but it was worth it. I think ours took about 25 min.“

“LOVED this place. We had an Airbnb around the corner during a bachelor party and came here the first night once we arrived. Only disappointment was the actual bar in the back (which looked really nice) didnt seem open during our stay, but the drinks were the same. We just ended up in the main dining area or outside. Drinks were awesome! Everyone loved the spot and ended up there almost every night during the weekend. The slices were amazing too, especially after long days of drinking. “Pizza's are great but tried a few new to us things for New Years and what a disappointment. Fries were obviously old and had been sitting under a heat lamp or similar. Threw them out after first taste. Whole Garlic "Loaf" was a sub roll cut in half. All of 6"-7" long. For it's price, not worth it either. Chocolate silk pie ($19.99) more crust than pie fillings. Save your money and just buy one from Kroger/Walmart/Meijers.“
