They made my day 1000x extra special, took care of my food and drinks, and even gave me a platter of desserts to try! “As an airline pilot who's traveled across the US and internationally to a lot of cities, I’ve eaten at many restaurants, and Addis Grill in Louisville has become one of my favorites! It’s centrally located downtown at 109 S 4th Street, right between the Kentucky International Convention Center and the Galt House Hotel. It’s an easy, short walk from the Galt House and other nearby hotels like the Hyatt Regency, Louisville Marriott Downtown, Aloft Louisville Downtown, and Courtyard —super convenient when you’re staying in the area. The family-run environment is always welcoming, and the staff is attentive and friendly. My personal favorite is the Lamb Kebab Special—perfectly grilled, flavorful, and seasoned just right, but they have many other excellent options. It’s been outstanding every visit, and I always stop by when I’m back in town! If you’re downtown, do yourself a favor and stop in. Highly recommend—easily 5 stars! My wife and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast during our visit. It was a busy morning, so joining the wait list before we left our hotel turned out to be a smart move. By the time we arrived, the place was buzzing, but we were seated quickly and settled in for a great meal.

The service was outstanding. Darren was kind, patient, and attentive throughout our visit. He checked in at just the right moments and made sure we had everything we needed. Offering a coffee to go at the end was a thoughtful touch that left a lasting impression.

I ordered a classic Belgian waffle with a side of crispy bacon, both prepared exactly the way they should be. My wife devoured her omelet, which was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly.

Parking wasn’t the easiest, but we were fortunate to find a free street spot practically in front of the entrance since it was Sunday.

“LOVED this place. We had an Airbnb around the corner during a bachelor party and came here the first night once we arrived. Only disappointment was the actual bar in the back (which looked really nice) didnt seem open during our stay, but the drinks were the same. We just ended up in the main dining area or outside. Drinks were awesome! Everyone loved the spot and ended up there almost every night during the weekend. The slices were amazing too, especially after long days of drinking. If im back in the area ill specifically come back here.“

“I normally have a great time at Texas Roadhouse.But last night june seventeenth my husband and I went and it was a pretty bad experience. For 1 hour stakes, we're not done. We had to send them back and when I cut into my steak. I cut mine into 3 pieces to make sure it was done. My husband cut his into 2 pieces and when they brought them back. A big piece of my steak was not there.. Now, like I said, we normally have a great time there with no problems.My husband and I go maybe twice a week and we never have any problems , but on june seventeenth , we had this bad experience. But needless to say, we will return to Texas road.As we normally do and hopefully , we will have better experiences there. Texas roadhouse is One of our favorite restaurants“

“This has become one of my favorite places to eat. The tacos are big enough to get full but small enough that your not over eating and very inexpensive. They have my absolute favorite soft serve margaritas. My spot is to sit on the patio but I quickly remembered that the Earth revolves around the sun and where I started off sitting in the breezy shade had QUICKLY gotten steaming hot 30min later with full on sun. Sidebar: yes they have patio umbrellas. The staff is super sweet and attentive. There's only 1 thing I don't like and thats the chips and salsa. Its a little bland for my taste so I sprinkle salt in the salsa. The atmosphere is radiant and tranquil. Although the restaurant sits right off the busy street of a hospital area its not uncomfortably busy.“
