“I spent my mornings here during my stay in Louisville during Louder Than Life. There was no better way to start your day than to chit chat to the beautiful owner of this place. I am missing my morning Americano brew and a yummy sandwich as I get back to my "normal" life here in Canada. If you are in the vicinity of this cafe, please do yourself a favor and drop in. “Lovely coffee shop! I ordered a seasonal drink which was delightful. The rosemary scone was warmed up by the barista and was delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and homey, very relaxed. I love the outdoor patio and landscaping, I would love to sit outside next time I come back on a sunny day. Baristas were also very friendly and helpful. I will certainly return and am excited to try other menu items!“

“This is a fantastic place to get your coffee fix and a quality breakfast. The staff are very kind and personable, they want to get to know you. The espresso is very very good, locally roasted by Ithmah Coffee Roaster. It has a cozy atmosphere with comfortable seating. They also hold many events that you and your loved ones can attend. 10/10 would recommend!“

“They ain’t kidding when they say this espresso is stronggg & smooth!! This espresso is like a cozy slap in the face that wakes you up & makes you wanna kick the day’s butt. This coffee is not for you if you like drinking milk & sugar with heavy syrups & a hint of coffee. I would say the lavender paired with the strong espresso might be a little close to overbearing. BUT. Still one of the best lattes I’ve had. Really cool atmosphere & a staple of the Louisville area.“

“Im dakota rice i went there today and I was blown away by the immediate service and how fast it was and the drinks were incredible also the manager Christy storts was very awesome and friendly and even gave us great suggestions for the next time we stop by will always stop by this one just because of how they were with me today I will be a customer for life.“

“Where to even begin?! This is more than an amazing play space and cafe; it’s a place where caregivers can actually get a much needed breather while kids are able to be kids in a safe space. Plus it’s a hub of activity. They are always offering new classes, camps and childcare options. My kiddo took an art class here that was 10/10. They also are very community-minded. They’ve hosted a pantry on-site and offer play days at significantly reduced cost. Amazing people. Amazing atmosphere. Highly recommended GlowWorm!“

My pandan matcha with no foam and vegetable bagel sandwich were delicious. I also must note that the menu boards were so beautifully handwritten and decorated.“

I just moved to the area, and have been to a few shops, trying to find where I can make my regular place, and everywhere I looked didn't have even one thing that I was looking for.. until I found Smoke Buddy and they had it all!! They just became my one stop shop!!

“Very chill, laid back atmosphere on a Sunday. Despite only one person working up front, service was very quick. I had the spiced shaken espresso and Dubai croissant. It was very hard to pick because their pastry selection was out of this world. Maybe my new fav local coffee shop!“

“I am a regular at the farmers market in Jeffersontown. first thing I do is head for the coffee get atleast 3 cups lol. Bought on of thier vikings mugs for my BF for fathers day. could not wait to give it to him a huge hit with him. the ladies that sell the coffee are super nice and knows what they are talking about.“

“Always friendly, but sometimes the same drinks taste different depending on who's making what, I suppose. I get the Cinnamon Spice Tea, or House Blend quite a bit, and even with the same ingredients each time, sometimes it's nowhere near the same. And the scoops vs 1x-4x sweet can be ultra confusing. Overall, I still enjoy the new combinations!
Update - Aug 2026 - still friendly! Not found a stand I haven't liked. Some of them make the drinks a little different sometimes, though. Trying new drinks and combos is great, though!“

“My friends and I just spent 3 days in the Highlands, and we visited Safai Coffee every single day. Every drink we tried was fantastic, and every food item was delicious! We also stocked up on their awesome merch as well (yay LGBTQIA+ friendly businesses!). We are now back home in Illinois and I’m craving a Black Magic latte like crazy!
