“Fast and simple after ordering on the app.. only negative was for breakfast. i ordered a couple of mcgriddles and asked for syrup and was told i had to pay for it..i understand if i was just randomly asking for it but i just bought your breakfast and would like syrup on it without having to pay extra.. but in the end i got some with the "next time i have to charge you just so you know for future reference" type speech lol all in all not a bad location during breakfast and early lunch menu times.“

“I’ve been pining to come here and try their lattes for a while and so glad that I finally did! We went on a Saturday and the staff was so sweet and helpful. I have celiacs so they made sure to ensure that any of their gluten free scones weren’t cross contaminated and also started me clear of drinks I couldn’t have. I ended up getting the chocolate scone and the Kiwa Signature iced latte. I love black sesame so this was a treat. My boyfriend got the Biscoff iced latte which came with a cookie! We can’t wait to come back and try more from the seasonal menu :) and I’ll be back to work remotely from this cafe soon for it’s serene atmosphere (it reminds me of an art gallery or an upscale cafe in a metro area)“

“Our family adopted Freyja ( the cat formally known as Madonna) from this great place. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The volunteer in the playroom was awesome as well. Freyja is one of the most loving and playful kittens we have had! She makes sure she cuddles with all 5 of us. When we are ready to add another member to the family we will definitely come here!“

“First time here, once i stepped in to this coffee shop I knew they serve a decent and good coffee. I love the vibes, I went here during lunch hour it was busy and full house, filled with working people ? The lighting is good to work at, nice music and nice service.“

“The cold brew is very good and they carry Blue Dog eats, both sweet and savory. Unfortunately, espresso-tonics are not currently offered here, but that's not abig deal. (Though, espresso-tonics are arguably the best coffee drinks for hot weather, which is definitely on its way.) My experience here was quite nice and I plan on returning.

The most impressive attribute of this place is its capaciousness. They have ample street level and second story seating, including both a street level patio and a balcony patio. The second story space even has a screen and overhead projector. It would be perfect for small-to-medium sized business meetings.“

“My family and I wanted to try somewhere new for brunch. After looking at the pictures we decided to come here.
To start, parking is a bit tight. If you are handicapped it might be easier to park in the spots facing the street. (Obviously not the restaurants fault. Just wanted to mention that.)
Upon entering this place, it is very cozy & clean. You can order to go or take a seat at one of the several tables. It's refreshing to sit at a table, and the placemats actually stay in place. Silly detail, but it was noticed.
They have a lot of drink options and a good handful of food options. Unfortunately, they didn't have a couple of shake options or waffles available during our visit. Plan to go try these at a later date though. My husband had already eaten, so he just got some mozzarella sticks. My parents and I opted for some burgers and fries. Everyone liked their meals. Their fries had just the right amount of crunch, and the burgers were fresh / juicy.
Overall, this place is a hidden gem I'd suggest trying.
Shakes: 10/10 BTW

Parking: Parking spots are tight. There is a speed bump in between the restaurants. Some parking spots are marked for specific business.“

“My boyfriend went here one morning to get us coffee before I had woken up. He was struggling to understand the menu as it’s a “how many creams and sugars” vs a “here’s this drink give me that based off a recipe you already have”. Anyway, the cashier was really nice to him and killed it when he told them to just make it how they thought it would be good. He awoke me with a delicious drink and even got himself a cute pin while he was there. Pretty cool spot and would go again if ever in the area.“

My husband and I went sat and sun morning while in town for a weekend trip. Top tier energy. Starting our morning off by stopping in, both times we walked away with lighter spirits. “Cafe Shiraz is an absolute gem! My sister and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. First tempted by the beautiful pastries in the case, we ordered a baklava and an almond croissant. Then we turned to the menu and got the Breakfast Platter For Two. We took our seats in the cozy, bright cafe and ate our desserts first - unbelievably delicious! The baklava was flaky and delectable; the almond croissant was served warm which brought out the flavors of the buttery layers and sweet almond. Then came the breakfast platter! Life changing!!! This was essentially a charcuterie board of breakfast goodness, including fried eggs, ham, a bagel, feta cheese, butter, cream cheese, walnuts, honey, sliced veggies, strawberries, and lavash. We noshed on this wonderful concoction combining different flavors with each bite. Everything was fresh and delicious and the lavash was crispy and seasoned to perfection. In addition to the amazing food, the atmosphere is cozy and bright and the proprietor was extremely friendly. Located on the corner of Brownsboro Rd and William St, close to Mellwood, Cafe Shiraz is the perfect spot for a meal or snack before or after shopping at Mellwood Arts Center or Work the Metal, or walking around Nulu! A solid 5 stars!“

“This is my first time ever going into the establishment.
I was not greeted. I stood there waiting at the counter for about five minutes. They were busy, but no one even looked at me. They intentionally ignored me. I walked out walked in. Waited some more then got greeted then got service. Food was exactly as expected great.
They did not call out my order to let me know when it was ready. Just a little disappointing as locally they have a good name these are reasons why someone may not come back.“
