So i googled Ethiopian coffee shops in Louisville and found Abol cafe. visited today and had some pour over coffee, it was the best coffe i've ever had, and i have tried coffee everywhere!!!! believe me when I say this place has the best Coffee around. This place more than exceeded my expectations of Ethiooian Coffee!!!! I will be visiting this place alot more.“

“They ain’t kidding when they say this espresso is stronggg & smooth!! This espresso is like a cozy slap in the face that wakes you up & makes you wanna kick the day’s butt. This coffee is not for you if you like drinking milk & sugar with heavy syrups & a hint of coffee. I would say the lavender paired with the strong espresso might be a little close to overbearing. BUT. Still one of the best lattes I’ve had. Really cool atmosphere & a staple of the Louisville area.“

“This 7 brew is my favorite! I go here very frequently. Most of the staff is very nice and my drinks are always on point. Today I had a run in with the same employee I’ve had an issue with in the past but the male manager on duty came to speak to me directly about the girl, apologized to me and also tried to compensate for the issue. I never got his name but he is always so upbeat and gives off the BEST energy! I always stop here before work in the morning and he makes my day start off so bubbly! This guy is top tier!“

“I really wish I had asked permission to use the name of the person who helps me every time because they are genuinely one of the sweetest people I’ve met. The atmosphere and coffee are exceptional, especially at this location. I’ve been to the location closer to Nulu a few times, and unfortunately it just isn’t the same experience.

No matter how busy or slow it is, the barista who usually helps me is always positive and welcoming. Today really took the cake. With the Norton Commons yard sale going on, there were probably eight people in front of me in line. Despite having only two people working, the line moved quickly, and from the time I got in line to the time I had my coffee in hand was less than 15 minutes. I still got the friendly conversation I’ve come to expect. They complimented my friend and me, and we had a short conversation about names and working in coffee shops.

It’s rare to find a place that consistently makes people feel welcome, but this location does exactly that. I couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s everything you look for in a coffee shop—great coffee, a wonderful atmosphere, kind people, and even spotless restrooms. Haha!“

“I have become a regular of the Bardstown Road location in Louisville. The coffee and the food is always consistently good but It is the constant, great customer service that keeps bringing me back. I wish I could send this with all of the staff names that treat me so great but unfortunately, I do not know all of their names. Jess is one that truly stands out. Even if she is not working the window, if she hears my order over the speaker she makes it a point to say, hey. It is obvious that she is sincere about making sure the customers have a great experience.“

I am usually a 7brew customer but DutchBros is going to be my new go to. My stomach doesn't hurt when I sip on their drink like it does with my 7brew drink. “When I think of how a coffee shop should run, I think of Greg and the gang. I have gone there at 5:00 am everyday for the past year. (I have a sleep issue and wake up at 4:45 am everyday). I get a sugar free vanilla cold brew and it’s become routine. I’m diabetic. The highlight isn’t the drink, or quality of the product, it’s the crew. I’m talking about, Meghan, Rachel, Alex, Sydney, Justin(who even offered up a streaming service password to me), Bailey, Carson (the person who makes my drink like, 90% of the time and crushes it), and everyone else. I’m always greeted with a smile. Everyone there is a prime model employee. They also write on my cup.“

“It was my first experience at 7 Brew so I was not familiar with the menu. Shout out to Shannon that took my order who helped me figure out what type of drink I would enjoy. “My barista Abby really made my visit something special here. She made me a peppermint iceburg (something that was not on the menu) and quickly but was really friendly and she upped the size of my drink for me and let me use my rewards credit to pay for it so it was no charge to me. Thank you Abby for going above and beyond for me. You are awesome.“

“The service!!! The service is what got me to keep coming back!! My fav is an iced chai, I love it so much I always ask for extra! On this visit, I asked for some of their holiday drinks - all of them super yummy!! For this order, it was $21, all had extra shots, drizzle and double flavorings. This same order would have been $32 at the competition location. Definitely need to try Dutch Bros if you haven’t yet!!“
