Stop Den for an iced coffee with an extra shot of espresso and one of the least acidic best tasting espressos I have had in years! Must stop.

Blackbeard Espresso is renowned for its fantastic coffee, served by friendly and solicitous staff. The coffee is not bitter or sour, but rather great, with a signature banana coffee being a highlight. The high quality white chocolate matcha and a moist, soft, fudgey chocolate muffin (best when heated up!) are also favorites. The lattes are smooth and easy to drink, and the espresso is full of flavor with a clean finish. The atmosphere is nice with good music that isn’t too loud, and the customer service is excellent. With limited hours, it's worth visiting, especially for those in downtown Louisville. The coffee shop is vegan-friendly, offering milk alternatives. Despite being a coffee snob, reviewers praise the exceptional service and unique flavor combinations, making it a must-visit destination.
