“Stumbled upon this little gem that was within walking distance to our airbnb. Customer flavors and batches made daily. We had the pumpkin Swiss roll and banana pudding. The ice cream was packed with flavor, chunks of cake, and vanilla wafers blended with just the right spices.
Absolutely delicious!“

“Always good always! Graeter’s is well run establishment and it doesn’t matter what store you visit. However; the one on Breckinridge Lane is the Best! Hands down the best ice cream joint ever created. I mean they’ve been serving ice cream since 18 something. Top that? You cannot!
And did y’all know that inside the “circle” (could be misinformation but I have been to their stores in Cincinnati that have a whole bakery inside. Yes! Graeter’s sells donuts and pies and cakes and bakery stuff at select locations in Cincinnati. I thought I was in the candy land matrix! lol“

“Every favor that I have tried this summer has been delicious. I have had curbside, delivery and in store and all all been great no issues. The staff is amazing and always friendly no matter how the day is going.
S'mores is my favorite right now, the mango sorbet is also refreshing.
But the banana pudding that you can only get in store it's just ok.
All in all Graeter's is GReat!“

“Walked in today right as the owner was closing. He had already cleaned all equipment and once I noticed and apologized for walking in so late, he encouraged me to stay and offered to make me a shake and tea combo. It's rare today to not get turned away at close and I greatly appreciated the hospitality. And the shake and tea were fantastic; I feel much better!“

“I met the owner of the Vally dairy freeze today. She happened to come into the laundry mat to do a few loads of laundry. She was so friendly and I asked her her name and she said I’m Shelly and she mentioned she owned this wonderful establishment, I’m not out that way much but I have had a cone or two from there years back. . I remember it was delicious.? There are other ice cream shops closer but Im going to make the trip out there to try some of her homemade Chilli and get a milkshake !!! I think it will be worth the trip !!“

“Prepare to be amazed by the sheer magic that is The Comfy Cow ice cream haven! My heart is still fluttering from the extraordinary experience I had with the incredibly fabulous Carrie, the maestro behind my sons ice cream cake creation. Picture this: I was in a cake crisis, left high and dry by a completely different establishment that failed to deliver the pre-ordered masterpiece I had been eagerly anticipating for over a week. Desperation set in as I reached out to several places, only to be met with helpless shrugs and apologies. But then, as if guided by a force of fate itself, I was connected with the enchanting Chantel from The Comfy Cow. With their usual grace and charm, they turned the impossible into reality. Brace yourselves, because this ice cream haven usually crafts their delightful creations with a 3-day lead time. Yet, armed with a dash of determination and a sprinkle of fairy dust, Carrie Ramirez from The Comfy Cow's Middletown location emerged as the hero to create a breathtaking ice cream cake for my son in under 24 hours. Yes, you read that right - UNDER 24 hours! Let's talk dedication, folks. Carrie not only stayed late into the night but also emerged from her dreams to ensure that my son's ice cream cake would be an unforgettable masterpiece. My gratitude knows no bounds, and my joy is so immense it could power a thousand birthday parties. And now, dear readers, I must hang my head in shame as I admit that this review comes a tad fashionably late. You see, I was so wrapped up in the delight of this ice cream cake that the days simply slipped through my fingers like sand. The cake was triumphantly unveiled on July 8th, and here we are on the glorious August 9th, penning these words with heartfelt apologies for my tardiness. In conclusion, if you're looking to be transported to a world where ice cream cakes are created by fairy godmothers and dreams come true, look no further than The Comfy Cow. Every bite is a taste of the extraordinary, every moment spent with this wonder-worker, Carrie, is a memory to cherish. If her bosses are reading this, take heed: Carrie is the embodiment of ice cream enchantment, and if anyone deserves a raise, it's this magnificent soul. So, dear reader, don't just walk, run to The Comfy Cow and let their frozen wonders cast a spell on your taste buds. Trust me, it's an experience you'll be recounting for years to come.“
“Firat of all, I do NOT recommend, I don't why it says I do! I've visited Dairy Del many times in the past and have noticed that the quality has greatly diminished the past couple years. I believe the hype is because they're only 1 of 2 places in the neighborhood that serves soft serve and everybody looks forward to them opening for the year. But after tonight, I will never go back. I will drive further and go to Dairy Kastle (on Eastern Pkwy) instead. It seems the staff at Dairy Del doesn't care about putting out a even DECENT product. I know,.it's ice cream. How bad can it be, right? Well, it CAN be so bad that I will never go back. This is after giving them chance after chance to get it right. For instance, the banana split I got included mini scoops of ice cream (not exaggerating when I say "mini") & I couldn't even see the 3 different syrups. The heath flurry...the ratio of heath to ice cream was def not acceptable & it wasn't mixed well at all. I should have refused it or had them remake it, but honestly I was kinda in disbelief at what I was seeing & my bf was driving off as I was checking it out (while saying how much of a total rip off this was). I can get a better product at someplace like DQ, & for less money. I believe the staff has gotten worse each year & they simply don't care about putting out even a decent product. It's def not worth the hype! Do better guys, if you care about giving your customers what we deserve!!“

The green drink, Pistachio popsicle l, dorilocos and Strawberry are some among the best choices on the menu. This is a family owned Mexican store and you should definitely try when in Louisville.“

“Dirt Drive thru service only. When i arrived there wasn't much activity. I was pleasantly surprised with the swirl cone i ordered, with the size, texture, taste of the ice cream, and the freshness of the cone. I would've giving it a 4.5 star because i went back during the week past 2 pm, and they were closed, although Google indicates different operating hours. But the cone was delish. I highly recommend stopping by. Service was professional, and courteous. I was in the area on a business trip. I miss it!!“

“My family and I wanted to try somewhere new for brunch. After looking at the pictures we decided to come here.
To start, parking is a bit tight. If you are handicapped it might be easier to park in the spots facing the street. (Obviously not the restaurants fault. Just wanted to mention that.)
Upon entering this place, it is very cozy & clean. You can order to go or take a seat at one of the several tables. It's refreshing to sit at a table, and the placemats actually stay in place. Silly detail, but it was noticed.
They have a lot of drink options and a good handful of food options. Unfortunately, they didn't have a couple of shake options or waffles available during our visit. Plan to go try these at a later date though. My husband had already eaten, so he just got some mozzarella sticks. My parents and I opted for some burgers and fries. Everyone liked their meals. Their fries had just the right amount of crunch, and the burgers were fresh / juicy.
Overall, this place is a hidden gem I'd suggest trying.
Shakes: 10/10 BTW
Parking: Parking spots are tight. There is a speed bump in between the restaurants. Some parking spots are marked for specific business.“

“The drive thru was very busy, but they got everyone thru quickly and still got our order right. They had a gentleman bring out our order even before we left the winow from paying. He was just as Olaf with a big burger around his waste because today is Halloween. Adorable! Thanks for making our experience #1 everytime we visit!“

“Been going to this place since I was a kid. And for ice cream in Kentucky this is the best ice cream in Louisville KY. You have to get the black raspberry chocolate chip I usually am not a fan of fruity ice cream but this flavor actually made me love fruity ice cream. My new favorite flavor is the lemon meringue pie it's a balanced flavor of lemon marshmallow flavor. It has freeze dried lemon drops in it and pie crust I have purchased so many of this one flavor so many times this summer. They have a solid strawberry ice cream it makes one of the best strawberry milkshakes ever. If I ever move out of Kentucky one day graeters would be the first thing I'll miss from Kentucky.“

“Over the weekend I placed an order for a half sheet cake for my daughter’s baptism at the Highlands Pie Kitchen. When I picked it up I was absolutely SHOCKED at how bad the quality was. The writing was in print, and there were no decorative roses at all. I immediately called the Pie Kitchen in Fern Creek & asked if their baker had better penmanship and could fix the cake and they were working on my cake within 10 minutes. Their amazing baker Lance spent 45 minutes of his time redoing the cake and made it beautiful!!! I cannot thank the workers and Lance at the Fern Creek location enough for saving the day!“

“Literally the best dairy Queen in louisville, maybe the best one in the entire state. Service is always incredibly fast, and the food never tastes like it's been sitting out or was overcooked. I literally drive out of my way to go to this location anytime I want dairy queen, they are fantastic.“
“I really like this place. Staff and patrons very welcoming of kids. But parents there are a few issues you need to know about….1. Bring food. Pizza, McDs, Chick-Fil-A. The food truck on day we went didn’t have much my kid would eat and was pricey.2. Bring some sand toys and meet a friend there to keep kid entertained. Mine had more fun when another kid his age showed up.3. Your kid will think the bourbon slushies are an icee. Lol. So maybe grab one before you come.4. They don’t always have ice cream so don’t mention it.5. The sand. Mine wanted to go play on the court (which is always in use) with its beautiful, fluffy sand. There isn’t necessarily a kid sand area (that would be awesome!). Kids play on the side but this day it was very compacted. A woman there said it wasn’t always like this.6. Watch out for balls and people on court cuss. I don’t care but some might.Pros: contained place to tire out your kid while you have a beer and talk to other adults. We will be back.“

“Culver's frozen custard at 11801 Interchange Dr in Louisville, KY, offered a delightful treat during my road trip. As a self-proclaimed frozen custard snob with a penchant for Planters chocolate in WNY, I was pleasantly surprised by Culver's hand-scooped version. While it lacked the familiar soft serve texture, the custard was undeniably rich and sweet with excellent flavor. However, Planters still reigns as my gold standard in the world of frozen custard. Nevertheless, Culver's provided a satisfying and enjoyable experience on my journey.“

“The lady who helped me at the front counter is amazing. I was there to pick up a last meal for my dog before I put him down. I asked her what she recommended because I was just picking random things. She told me to try just regular hamburger patties, no bread ( I didn't know you could do this), and a plain vanilla pup cup. The only thing he wanted to eat was the hamburger patties. She was amazing helping me out, even when I started to cry, which I kept apologizing for. I wish I would have thought to get her name. She got my food quickly for me, which I appreciated. And as I left, she said she would keep me in her prayers. She is a wonderful human being.“
