“Kid-friendliness: The staff member who was working on our visit (3/12/24) was very kind to my kids who have been wanting to try rolled ice cream for a bit now! ? They were very excited, which didn't seem to perturb him a bit thankfully!They got Cookie Monster rolls with sprinkles, chocolate chips, and M&M's which they just loved! My partner and I got the Morning Latte base without fruity pebbles, and added chocolate chips! ?Delicious ice cream, great experience, and wonderful staff!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“The ice cream here is okay, I find them WAY too sweet and if you are curious about the calories, all I can say is that almost all of them are 1k+ calories, except for the smoothies. The line can be quite long if it is busy and I don't like the fact that the fan is blocking 2 lights and is causing flickering near the ordering area, so watch out if you have epilepsy.“

“This might be my new favorite ice cream dessert joint. Take your favorite cereals, mixed with your favorite ice cream and toppings and voilà!! a masterpiece, an ice cream, specialty shaker as Taylor's Cereal bowl calls them! The decor is fun, popping with balloons and bright colors and movies and games. It is both a child and adult fun dreamland. Don't forget Taylor's specialty soap and lotion next-door. This is a sweet treat that you do not want to miss. I attended a Yelp event and was able to sample a flight the Jeffersonville Strawberry Cheesecake shaker, S'mores and Chocolate Turtle. My favorite was the Strawberry Cheesecake...so delish, the golden graham addition tasted like the graham cracker crust of cheesecake!! You cannot go wrong with this divine treat.“

“My daughter loved the Cotton Candy ice cream, and my little boy was thrilled that they had blue ice cream! I tried some of his “Lil Blue Panda” ice cream and it was really, really good! The staff is very friendly, and the owner, Mary, is so sweet! I intended to get some of their cobbler with ice cream for myself but I didn’t make it back in time. They have such a wide variety on their menu, and I really wish I could have sampled it all! It all looked delicious! Thank you for coming to the Medora Freedom Celebration! “What fun! A blast from the past. Great location, product, service and decor. I moved from a small town in WV in 1968 to the big city of Louisville KY! Remember Orie our milk man, delivering our milk and bread. So glad to see them in our community again. Ice cream is the best.“

“The ice cream is very good. We had a waffle cone with raspberry cookies and cream and a cup of banana pudding and bourbon pecan something. I would agree with other reviews about the few seats inside and the personality of the staff. We timed it right with a parking spot right in front and no line inside but within 15 minutes the line was out the door. One of our servers was very happy to see us...the other guy had the personality of a stale ice cream cone. But the ice cream is good and I'd love to try a sundae so I'd go back.“

“The Crew at the Crumbl in Jeffersonville is the best! The Manager is extremely helpful, superfriendly and very knowledgeable! “I love this place. I can't day enough about the staff! My daughter and I order here every weekend. I highly recommend the bear claws and the made to order breakfast sandwiches. The bacon egg and cheese croissants are our favorite.The staff are bright and beautiful people! Always bringing some sunshine to our Sunday mornings!“

“It almost hard to believe how high the quality of the food and service is here. The chicken sandwich is the best I've found anywhere, and the fried fish rivals what I'd normally pay $18 for. Sure, it costs $1 than other places but they don't prompt you for adding a tip to the payment. Plus they deliver the food to your table. Other restaurants should follow this business model.“

“I have had no better Ice cream than the Ice cream that I have received here, except for the Ice Cafés of Europe.Parking: Small parking lot, but as good as their Ice cream is means that this small parking lot is all was some what full. This is not a big problem, because street parking is available all around the area.Kid-friendliness: This is a great place to take your little ones to enjoy some time with a great treat.“

We got a cake cone, a scoop in a cup, and a milkshake! All were awesome. Tried a variety of different ice creams as well. Anyone with small kids know, you get to try them all whether you were planning to share or not.On both entrances of the store they have outdoor furniture, which is perfect for enjoying ice cream on a warm summer day. Service is to be expected with summer high school workers. They do their best, but have some grace as they can sometimes get overwhelmed.Strong recommendation for a before or even after dinner snack! “Sometimes I pull up, go in and order and purchase the food, and eat it in my rig. Once ordered food preparation does not take long at all. The inside atmosphere is OK, could be a little more comfortable. My favorite burger here is the Elvis Presley burger. From two years ago when I first tried Burgers till now the burger has changed slightly. I say that their options and the way they handle their food is perfect every time. Other burger I had is a Royale, and I tried something new. They put blue cheese crumbles over the top of the egg so when it burst it was awesome! Richness of flavor and the blue cheese along with the beef kicked it up a notch. I also enjoy having a nice ice cold brew occasionally when I dine in.“

“Delicious ice cream with spectacular service. I was allowed to try as many flavors as I wanted. Which included the following: Midnight snack- surprisingly tied for favorites. Ice cream with pretzels, brownies and peanut butter cups. Coffee- I was warned that the coffee flavor was strong but I loved it. Chocolate chip mocha was similar to coffee ice cream with chocolate pieces. It had huge chunks of chocolate which made it surprisingly better. Pumpkin- I settled on pumpkin ice cream with a sprinkled and chocolate rim cone. There were so many great flavors I honestly couldn't decide. Coconut chocolate chip- my wife's choice. which I usually don't like but it was decent. Fantastic ice cream parlor. Will visit again.“

“It's Labor Day and we just spent 3 hours at the Louisville Zoo and 90° weather. We got in the car and thought "Man, ice cream sounds great!"A quick Google search lead us to Ehlers. We haven't been to this location before and it was right on our way home, so it was an easy choice.This Ehlers location is kinda small, but comfy small. There are 4 or 5 tables and some tall chairs at a counter that look outside. I get the feeling this location is relatively new, and it's very welcoming and makes you think "ice cream!". “Great Ingredients = Great Dessertthis is an authentic gelato made in the traditional Italian style. The owner is actually certified from a place in Italy.They offer about 26 or so flavors which rotate seasonally. They offer cones and cups, as well as take home sizes.In the traditional gelato style they encourage mixing flavors, which I highly recommend as well.Overall its a great old school style neighborhood style dessert place which is a must try after dinner at one of the other restaurants in Norton Commons.“

“We were in area and stopping in to the shopping plaza when we discovered this gem. I met Camille, the owner, who was very sweet. We tried the banana pudding and butter pecan ice creams. They were both smooth and delicious. I also got a brownie that I warmed up when I got home. It was everything I didn't know I needed. Will definitely be back to try other cakes and coffees. The shop is small so not somewhere to take a big group. Plenty of parking is in front of shop.“

“My wife and I have found a new favorite place to eat. The menu is full of different things to try. We have dined in twice, so far, and both times, the food was excellent. My wife loves the lettuce wrap burger. It fits her needs with what she can eat. The California style double combo is my go-to burger. The staff is pleasant to be around, and they seem to be happy with their work environment. We introduced my mother to Freddy's by taking her out to dinner there, and she has already made plans to go back. All in all, I believe we have found a great new restaurant to eat at. “I can't believe how long I waited to have the bahn mi ? It was sooo buttery and delicious, that bread was absolutely a winner! Plus the surprisingly flavorful tofu and pickled veggies were perfect. I've had several teas here before and they are always fresh and tasty. It's certainly a go to spot for a reason! Oh also I'm in love with the almond pastry ?“

“I really like this place. Staff and patrons very welcoming of kids. But parents there are a few issues you need to know about….1. Bring food. Pizza, McDs, Chick-Fil-A. The food truck on day we went didn’t have much my kid would eat and was pricey.2. Bring some sand toys and meet a friend there to keep kid entertained. Mine had more fun when another kid his age showed up.3. Your kid will think the bourbon slushies are an icee. Lol. So maybe grab one before you come.4. They don’t always have ice cream so don’t mention it.5. The sand. Mine wanted to go play on the court (which is always in use) with its beautiful, fluffy sand. There isn’t necessarily a kid sand area (that would be awesome!). Kids play on the side but this day it was very compacted. A woman there said it wasn’t always like this.6. Watch out for balls and people on court cuss. I don’t care but some might.Pros: contained place to tire out your kid while you have a beer and talk to other adults. We will be back.“

“This little shop is located in a small strip mall off OldShepherdsville road. They have ice cream, popsicles, specialty treats and snack food options. The service is friendly and fast. There is seating inside the store. Parking can be a bit of a challenge at certain times off the day, if the other stores are busy.“

“I haven't figured out why but the ice cream at Sellersburg is different than other Chillers / Zestos we have gone to. The ice cream is just better in my opinion. The staff is always friendly even when they are understaffed. Always have had a great experience here. Our dog also gives it 2 paws up, she loves her pup cup.“

“Firat of all, I do NOT recommend, I don't why it says I do! I've visited Dairy Del many times in the past and have noticed that the quality has greatly diminished the past couple years. I believe the hype is because they're only 1 of 2 places in the neighborhood that serves soft serve and everybody looks forward to them opening for the year. But after tonight, I will never go back. I will drive further and go to Dairy Kastle (on Eastern Pkwy) instead. It seems the staff at Dairy Del doesn't care about putting out a even DECENT product. I know,.it's ice cream. How bad can it be, right? Well, it CAN be so bad that I will never go back. This is after giving them chance after chance to get it right. For instance, the banana split I got included mini scoops of ice cream (not exaggerating when I say "mini") & I couldn't even see the 3 different syrups. The heath flurry...the ratio of heath to ice cream was def not acceptable & it wasn't mixed well at all. I should have refused it or had them remake it, but honestly I was kinda in disbelief at what I was seeing & my bf was driving off as I was checking it out (while saying how much of a total rip off this was). I can get a better product at someplace like DQ, & for less money. I believe the staff has gotten worse each year & they simply don't care about putting out even a decent product. It's def not worth the hype! Do better guys, if you care about giving your customers what we deserve!!“

“Sadly we didn't have the excellent customer service the restaurant was known for. We were rushed thru without even getting a chance to think and so one of the kids was very disappointed. The flavor of the chocolate ice cream is outstanding along with the double chocolate chip and the vanilla bean but the strawberry left a lot to be desired....it didn't taste like anything except iced sugar.“

“My friends and I went to The Widow's Walk while on a girls' trip. A storm was rolling in, and we didn't check their Facebook for their hours (as instructed on their voicemail). As we were pulling up, they were closing down to get ahead of the storm it was just the owner and one other person working I believe her name was Dee. The owner graciously let us order quickly before closing down. I got a brownie ala mode with pumpkin ice cream. The description says, "Brownie with one scoop of ice cream". The brownie and the pumpkin ice cream were delicious, and that was the biggest scoop I've ever had. The owner and Dee were super nice and her signs all over are hilarious (if you have a sense of humor). FIVE STARS! If I'm ever back in the area, I will return :).“
