La Real Michoacana is a lovely little ice cream shop offering really delicious snacks and desserts. The mango ice cream is excellent, and the strawberries with cream are a favorite. A mangonada (mangos, mango ice cream, sour chamoy sauce and chili powder) is about the best ever, with bold, fresh fruit flavor complimented by the spicy chili and sour chamoy for an incredibly tasty experience. Other menu items include an angelito, fresas con crema naturales, esquites, and a horchata. The Mexican pancake ice cream is creamy with lots of mix ins and very sweet. The ice cream bars are beautiful, and the mangona is highly recommended. Most of the menu is in Spanish, but the girl there is always very patient and kind if there are questions. The workers are great and very kind; one young woman did not make customers feel rushed even just before closing. The prices are a little high, but the food is definitely worth it. This place is worth the trip.
