I have lived in the Beechmont area for almost 2 years now and pass Old Rascals quite often, but have never stopped in. My friends and I decided to stop in on a Thursday night. The place was not crowded at all, which was nice, because it gave us a chance to really see what it has to offer. I was super excited when the old run down Ashland Tavern appeared to have gotten a face lift. Soon the building was looking much nicer and was sporting a sign that now reads, "Old rascals Neighborhood Bar" My husbands outing for his birthday was coming up and we decided to check it out. The entrance sports new paint and new signage as well as a few tables out side surrounded by an adorable white picket fence so that you may bring a drink out side in the fenced in area to smoke....read full review

I'm not sure that I even want you to know about this place because it's the kind of bar that you want to stay exactly the way it is and NOT change one bit.
