First off, let me just say that I am extremely picky about my gumbo. It was good, but not great. Everyone else enjoyed their meals very much. The atmosphere was fine and the wait staff were very friendly. All in all, a good experience.
Arrived at 5 p.m and my friend and I were promptly greeted & seated. We had our drink orders taken and were given the menus to look over. It took us a bit of time to browse through so many delicious options & decide! She ordered the crab cake with grilled vegetables and a Caesar salad. I went with the small wedge salad and a build your own pizza with 1/2 mushrooms and bacon. So good! This place has a nice, quiet atmosphere. The general presentation of the restaurant and and food were great. I'd recommend the lemon piccata pasta (add in some chicken or shrimp) or the jambalaya.
