“We really like coming here and will continue however I have noticed that the tables are not wipe down from employees regularly just watch everyone’s reaction when it’s sticky on there tables i seriously got a large amount of a sticky arm I did not see it there and asked if they could wet a napkin for me the water fountain is turned off the manager had a short get together with the girls shaking his head no , they offered a cup of water, thank you I love my wife she wiped the other tables also I’m sure this was a health risk to ask for a wet towel and I apologized“

“It’s nice the store has been updated but I don’t like it. It’s lost some of its country feel. The original artifacts were taken down and replaced with cheap reproductions. The reproductions are cheap looking and add a tacky flair to the restaurant.

Dietary restrictions: It is difficult for my diabetic spouse and daughter to eat here. I wish they had a few more healthy options. We choose Cracker Barrel for its country cooking but sometimes making good choices can be difficult.“

“This is the best restaurant in the area for a homestyle meal. They have great food, and the front-end staff is super nice. It is a wonderful place to bring young children. Their desert selection is phenomenal! They have really good pies and cakes.“

“Absolutely fabulous food. We loved the chicken salad, reuben sandwich and broccoli soup. Portions are very generous. Atmosphere is very unique and quaint. The reason for a line when you come in the door is the owners personal touch while taking your order. Don't let a line scare you away because food is prepared fresh for each order.

“On-line seating request worked great. Until we were seated in the heated outside area. Heat was intense, table was so loose we would not be able to hold it and eat, and table was covered with some sticky substance. We would have asked to move but nobody came to the table. So we left. Sad because the food is good!“

“We ate here twice while camping at Charlestown State Park. This place is awesome, food all tastes homemade and fresh...get the cole slaw and breaded zucchini fries you won't be disappointed. They give large servings with low prices. They don't price gouge like most restaurants do now. Where else can you get a chicken dinner with 3 SIDES and a roll for under $15? I would like to see them add a couple grilled or baked seafood items and maybe a black bean burger. The service fast and all staff friendly. Will definitely be back here!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️“

“We used The Copper Room at Orange Clover for a baby shower for a first time momma to be. I just cannot find the words for how wonderful the experience was. First off, the staff, absolutely phenomenal. Every single person I talked to (I’m sorry I don’t remember names, my memory is lacking currently) was so sweet and helpful. I appreciate every single one of you. Second, the food was perfect and delicious. Third, the room itself was everything I hoped it would be and more. The team working helped us make everything absolutely perfect. I cannot imagine a better place to have an event-from the staff, the food, to the location and the service. Beyond grateful for you all! “I do NOT recommend this place. We went with a party of 15 this afternoon and had a truly disappointing, awful experience. We arrived shortly after they opened. We were the only ones on the outside patio the entire visit (just shy of 3 hours) and the inside dining room never got very busy, but you'd never guess by how terrible the service was. It took nearly 2 hours for (most of) our food to come out, and even then, several orders were wrong. Our drinks were rarely filled. Our waitress and other staff may have been stretched too thin, but did the manager ever come out to speak with us or try to make things right even once? nope! The food and beer prices are high and not worth the price. (Food arrived cool and tasted ok... not worth the prices.) No apologies were offered before we left after paying our expensive tabs. We will not be back. Don't waste your time! They clearly don't care about getting return customers.“

“Had dinner at Swizzle tonight, with my husband. We started with drinks at the bar. Robin was great, greeted us and told us about the happy hour specials. We had reservations, so after enjoying our cocktails at the bar we were seated in the part of restaurant that slowly spins. The views were amazing, as the room slowly turns the view are always changing. Brittany was our waitress, she was friendly, knowledgable and made our dinner experience wonderful. Food was awesome, hubby had a filet and I had the gnocchi, both entrees were delicious. Highly recommend, 5 stars all around.“

“I used to love CQRG and have been there on many occasions, but this evening has changed my opinion. We were asked to leave our table due to a time limit that we didn't know about until the manager came down and asked us to leave. We were waiting on our food when were asked. I want an apology and my 38.00 back. Never have I endured such treatment. Tell us when we come in and tell the waitresses to remind us. That was just horrible. I ordered the blt with fried mushrooms. My partner ordered the catfish basket. It was all tasty.

“What a fantastic meal! Even though it was a quiet Tuesday night, Madison the bartender was outstanding. Her attention to detail was evident, and she would have been just as attentive even if she were busy. I was thrilled with my first visit to this restaurant—the service, bar, food, and value were exceptional. Madison crafted a summer concoction for me with Sazerac Rye, lemonade, thyme, and simple syrup (I might be missing an ingredient), and it was fantastic! Her drink recommendation was spot-on. For my meal, I had the Grilled Prime Pork Chop with Bacon Jam, Fried Brussels Sprouts, and Elote Corn on the Cob. Everything was out of this world! The pork was thick and juicy, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly cooked, and the Elote corn—oh my, the corn was amazing. Thank you for such a memorable dining experience!“

“Despite the other reviews, posting this out of my ordering experience (POV, ordered around 8, almost 8:30pm ish).

There's not much staff out since its not very active is my guess. Though once someone was finally able to come, I was treated very fairly. You go to the hostess stand to order actual food (10-20 a person depending on what you get, the pasta I ordered was actually 30 bucks) on a menu given. It's mostly burgers, fried food, pizza, pasta, that kind of thing. Kids menu too!

They unfortunately didn't have change for my 100 at the tether, but the hostess was very determined to be able to help and ran around to get it, bless her heart. Wish I got her name.

All in all, as someone who has worked in the food business, very great vibes that they're doing their best for having so little staff. Keep it up!

Kid-friendliness: Has a whole kids menu. Chicken tenders and kids cheese pizza off the top of my head. Also sodas to differ from the actual bar. Root beer, coke (I think), lemonade, etc.“

“My husband and I are in the area for vacation and came upon this restaurant as part of a Google search for dinner options. We liked the idea of being right on the water. We actually ended up eating inside, and at first, we were unsure because it was very loud, however, that quickly became a non-issue as we met our amazing Waiter Rob Butrum (sp?) He was friendly, kind, knowledgeable of places to see and visit and turns out knows some people from where we're from! He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, joked with us and met every request with a smile and quickly. If amazing people isn't enough, the food and cocktails were awesome too! I had a blueberry lemonade cocktail and my husband had an equally delicious and well balanced drink called a Goose Juice!! We had shrimp cocktail, a ribeye sandwich and a grill fish meal. Their Homemade beef vegetable was so good, I bought a quart to go!! We had a deliciously tart keylime pie for dessert that just topped off an already WONDERFUL experience. Overall, we do recommend this place and their food, all around friendly staff, our awesome server Rob and the beautiful atmosphere!“

“Moved to the area a little over a year ago and always wanted to try First Watch but with their hours and our schedule never aligning we never got to go until today. We ordered the million dollar breakfast sandwich and the choose two with the turkey avocado sandwich and the chicken chopped salad. We also got the dragon fruit drink, the honey cruch iced coffee, and the salted caramel doughnuts. Drinks were very good. Food was good except my order was wrong they gave me the Cobb salad and when I told our waitress the issue and the mistake and all she said was that she could bring me some chicken for the salad. I declined because we were already done eating and I didnt see the point of the chicken when they were two completely different Salads and toppings. I don't like blue cheese which was all over my salad so I picked around it and ate what I could and my half sandwich. Other than that the experience was good. Just disappointed and not the happiest with the resolution.“

“Just ate there for the first time. Would highly recommend this place. The spinach salad is fantastic with sliced almonds, craisins and some kind of thinly sliced radish. Ate real scrambled eggs and real hickory smoked bacon. Greens were great. Beef brisket was tender, juicy and flavorful. Service was exceptional. Cody was our server and he was very attentive - clearing used dishes and keeping our water glasses full. Overall a great restaurant!!“

“We had a great tour with Desdemona. Thank you for being so knowledgeable about not just the brandy but also the bourbon of the area! Tasting was wonderful - I’ve personally never had brandy and am not a fan of wine. As a first timer, Copper & Kings is so smooth. The Apple Brandy and Butchertown Brandy = ??‍??
And the Bourbon, while not the feature, is a fantastic side act!! I rank this Bourbon over Bardstown, personally.
We don’t seem to get Copper & Kings in Ohio, so we loaded up! Thank you and 100% recommend!“

“my family and I dined for lunch on Labor Day. we have always enjoyed the food and service here. This day the place was not very crowded. Only had to wait 15 min to be seated. Unfortunately, the seat we were given was right up front by the entrance and a high traffic area, people constantly running past us, and there was a large family seated next to us, about 15 people who were obnoxiously loud, made the atmosphere so uncomfortable, plus the music was loud too. My family and I could barely have conversation because of the noisy family next to us. We ordered our steaks cooked medium and a shrimp order with no seasoning. my steak arrived well done, not medium, his steak was so tough he could not cut it with a steak knife nor chew it, and her shrimp was covered in Cajun seasoning. the mgr. made everything right. I showed her my steak without saying anything and she immediately said "oh that's not medium". We showed her how hard it was to cut the steak and showed her the cajun covered shrimp. she had everything remade and even took a big chunk off the total bill. totally saved the visit and made us want to go back. The redo food was great. Steak was medium-rare to medium which was fine, his steak was much better and easier to cut and chew, (we suspected she may have switched to a better cut of meat) and the shrimp was not seasoned, as ordered. After the wait we did finally enjoy our meal, once the noisy family beside us left. It's too bad people cannot be considerate of others when dining out; the entire restaurant does not want to hear your stories. They were loud before the drinks came, and only got louder, seeming to enjoy the attention. The entire restaurant all sighed relief when they left. We appreciate the mgr taking care of the food blunders. We will return. Next time will ask for a table away from the front door and large groups.“
