“Ok incase you don't know this place is popular!! Very popular, and for good reasons. Firstly the food is amazing!! Because it's popular it is quite loud witch took away from the atmosphere for me. We had a group and the waiter seem a bit rushed, drinks were missed others were slow.. but the food could be the subject of songs. Go! Eat!! Enjoy!!!“
“Great casual Irish pub! I love the outdoor eating area, and the beer selection. Only weakness is the food quality past appetizers. Edit: I will continue to update this review as I sample the menu. This is one of the few restaurants I can eat at due to a soy allergy, as they do not fry in soybean oil!Food: All of their appetizers are great, but a lot of their food fare isn't very good unless you're eating after you're 2+ beers in. Scotch egg isn't a true scotch egg, but still decent. Fish and chips are classic, steak fries are reliable. They know how to fry food well. The bangers and mash are very difficult to stomach, which was a disappointment as I love making this dish at home! The staff are mindful if you ask for food restrictions. Even if this business is more well known for its bar, it's important for a pub to have quality food as good as its alcohol.Service: No critiques! The staff is extremely friendly and kind (if you can, be courteous and tip them well).Atmosphere: it's a warm, brighter lit Irish pub. Lounge chairs, booths, high tables and small tables are available. My favorite seating is the outdoor patio. This spot seems popular and cozy for older crowds (think the cracker barrel crowd if they were fun), and is good for chill sports viewing. Despite the potential for clash, this is also a comfortable spot for younger, non-sporty folks to grab a pint in a booth.Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to soy. As of 3/25/2024 this business does not fry in soybean oil or oil that contains soybean oil. Be mindful and ask if other ingredients contain additives. The wait staff are very kind and will be helpful with whatever dietary restrictions you have.Parking: There is a parking lot behind the building.Wheelchair accessibility: This business is not very wheelchair accessible when alone. The building has a tall staircase in front, but has a flat entrance from the rear parking lot. The doors are not motorized for wheelchair accessibility. The restaurant seating is crowded at wheelchair height (small tables, lounge tables, booths). A wheelchair user *may* have to sit at a table that is in a walk path for servers, which could be uncomfortable for both the patron and others.“
“I've been a patron of this bar for years, so it's difficult to give an objective review. Friday's and Saturdays, they have karaoke, and the bar rocks! During the week, it's more of a laid-back crowd. Lots of regulars playing pool and just sitting having conversations. They also have darts and a KY lottery machine if you like keno and such. For the time being, they have the "skills " games that the state will soon remove. The main bartenders have been there for years! That says a lot about the bar. The daytime regulars all know each other, making it a comfortable environment. The weekends get very busy at night, but Krista and her daughter Marissa handle the crowd with ease. Some of the favorite foods are pizza, wings, potato skins, brats, and burgers. Steve-o, cooks soups from time to time, like bean, chicken noodle, or chili. For St. Patty's Day, his cornbeef and cabbage rocks! Give More Shenanigans a try sometime. It's on Bardstown Road, two doors north of Breckenridge Lane, with lots of parking in the rear and easy in and outs to the streets.Kid-friendliness: It is a bar, so no kids are allowed.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible from the back parking lot.“
“Absolutely fantastic environment, and one of the best places I've ever worked. Drama at work is kept to a bare minimum and they are incredibly understanding about personal issues and needing time off. Great communication from management, and overall fantastic energy and atmosphere all around.I absolutely felt as if I was part of a family here, and the people and workers genuinely care about you here, which is hard to find in most bartending jobs.Worked here for about a year and a half, and had some of the best nights of my life here. Joe is a great guy and a pleasure to be around.Sydney the General Manager is a fantastic individual and took the role seriously without being controlling or bitter which is very commendable, and the entire crew on my shift (night shift) are just so lovely to be around.Shifts are very long but you are paid extremely well in tips, even on nights where it's slow. Most money I've ever made and I have made some incredible friends.Food is a solid 10/10 and they have delicious selection of craft beers that changes about every week.30/10 would recommend.“
“I had the chicken dinner, with potatoes, dressing, and roasted carrots. It was a wonderful dinner. Our server was helpful and personable. We took some friends with us that had never been there. He had corned beef and cabbage, and it, too, was delish! They want to go back. Good food, good service.“
“It doesn’t get better than osheas! You should visit this fine establishment any day that ends with “Y”. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner, milkshakes, or drinks this is the place to go. Exceptional service from the whole staff all the time, every time! Kevin, Ryan, Lance and all the other personable staff there make every visit special. The foods delicious and the menu options are great!“
