“What a fantastic introduction to MIM’S ETHIOPIAN RESTAURANT. This restaurant intimate atmosphere with various traditional arts displayed on the walls, very attractive and well designed with the traditional style.
The food was delicious. We impressed by waiter and the owner MIMI (YODIT) provided excellent customer service. Our food arrived quickly, and she checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was great. She was friendly, attentive and made our dining experience even better. After the meal we had amazing traditional coffee Ceremony.

We tried the meat sampler, mushroom tibs plate (mild) , and an order of lentil sambusa. I recommend all of the items we ordered.... the sides were all amazing as were the main items. “i follow a blogger on youtube that travels the world. he is visiting Ethiopia and through watching it learned that Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee. So i googled Ethiopian coffee shops in Louisville and found Abol cafe. visited today and had some pour over coffee, it was the best coffe i've ever had, and i have tried coffee everywhere!!!! believe me when I say this place has the best Coffee around. This place more than exceeded my expectations of Ethiooian Coffee!!!! I will be visiting this place alot more.“

“As an airline pilot who's traveled across the US and internationally to a lot of cities, I’ve eaten at many restaurants, and Addis Grill in Louisville has become one of my favorites! It’s centrally located downtown at 109 S 4th Street, right between the Kentucky International Convention Center and the Galt House Hotel. It’s an easy, short walk from the Galt House and other nearby hotels like the Hyatt Regency, Louisville Marriott Downtown, Aloft Louisville Downtown, and Courtyard —super convenient when you’re staying in the area. The family-run environment is always welcoming, and the staff is attentive and friendly. My personal favorite is the Lamb Kebab Special—perfectly grilled, flavorful, and seasoned just right, but they have many other excellent options. It’s been outstanding every visit, and I always stop by when I’m back in town! If you’re downtown, do yourself a favor and stop in. Highly recommend—easily 5 stars!
