What a fantastic introduction to MIM’S ETHIOPIAN RESTAURANT. This restaurant intimate atmosphere with various traditional arts displayed on the walls, very attractive and well designed with the traditional style.

Mimi's Ethiopian Restaurant is a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing meal in a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant offers a comfortable setting that is ideal for lunch, dinner, or catching up with family and friends. The decor is very classy, with a beautiful gold and black aesthetic, and various traditional arts displayed on the walls, very attractive and well designed with the traditional style. The atmosphere is sophisticated and intimate, but welcoming enough to come in jeans and a t shirt with friends and family. The food is delicious and plentiful, and the menu provides a variety of options to suit different tastes. The injera is light and fluffy, and the portion sizes are generous. The Side Salad had the most lovely dressing, and the Gomen (Greens) and Misir (Red Lentil) were spectacular. The Beef, chicken, and lamb are very tender and well seasoned with all kinds of spices. Some dishes were spicier than others, but not too spicy where you can’t enjoy the taste. The Potato Sambusas are recommended. The service is friendly and attentive, and the waiter provided excellent customer service and checked in regularly. The traditional coffee Ceremony is absolutely fantastic and amazing, and the Ethiopian coffee is definitely worth trying. The coffee with two brown sugars with the tiramisu for dessert is the way to go. The indoor and outdoor spaces are both beautiful. Mimi's Ethiopian Restaurant is one of the most delicious food in Louisville Kentucky and is highly recommended.
