Jack in the Box in Louisville

“Friendly staff, food was fresh and tasty. Dining room was clean.. Store manager brought me my food to my table, checked on me a couple times and seemed like he actually cared about the business. Very refreshing compared to most places these days.“

“I just found out that the air conditioning is managed by corporate. Guess corporate is in a tropical location because thus place is generally cold but today it is a special kind of cold. Really impacts the experience which, let's be honest is just fast food anyway. Maybe the idea is people won't stick around I dont know. Plans for a quick meal were turned into a quick and uncomfortable meal.“

“This was the best that Jack in the Box can be. Is it fine dining or any form of elevated food experience? Of course not. It's fast food, not a Michelin star restaurant.

But being from San Diego where the corporate HQ for Jack in the Box existed (and maybe still does) and growing up eating this, it was a perfect Jack in the Box dining experience.

The staff was awesomely friendly, the food has not be set under heat lamps for an hour, the restaurant was spotless, the tacos were crispy, the onion rings perfectly battered and fried and the ultimate cheese burger had nice melty cheese, sloppy sauce and freshly warmed buns with a couple of fat burger patties in between them.

My waistline and Dr. will hate me for eating this, but having been without these tacos for a few years, it was great to indulge.“
