“Super fun, the staff is awesome. Made what to me will forever be the best bottle of bourbon. 50 bucks or something about there for my own blend. Totally, totally worth it! Now if they could just figure out shipping... I'd be ordering more bottles right to my house.“

“Went on the tour experience after recommendation from my parents. I had an absolute blast. My tour guide’s name was Jason. He was funny and kept the tour very fun and engaging. He also gave a great lesson on bourbon tasting.
After the tour/tasting we went to the bar. Our bartenders name was Amond and he was incredible! I asked him his recommendations for drinks as a younger individual and what he recommended did not disappoint. I got a blackberry cocktail and it was incredible.

Came here to celebrate hubby’s birthday! We ordered filet mignon and Japanese wagyu! Melt in your mouth! So delicious! Josh and Caleb are wonderful ! They are kind, attentive, and very accommodating! Definitely will be comeback! Delicious steak ever!“

“We come to Louisville once a year and ALWAYS make a reservation here! It is our favorite. We have been doing this for over 10 years and I am always excited to go here. My favorite is the Shrimp and Grits and other people have raved about the Pork Chop and steak. I do not think there is a bad choice here. I have never once not had a great meal! Our service has always been wonderful as well, yet this year it was lackluster. One time out of 10 is just a fluke this year i am sure.“

“This is the first time my partner and I have been to Louisville and we decided to stop by Meta. If you too decide to stop by you'll be met with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The bartenders were so chill and willing to work with us to get our drinks just how we'd like them. Nataleigh and Khryss were super awesome and made my partner and I feel so welcome! Thank you guys so much for making our time in Louisville that much better! We hope to see you again next time we visit!“

“Awesome stop for a custom whiskey flight. I hit the jackpot with expert bartender CC, who took my request for a custom whiskey flight as a challenge and knocked it out of the park with three choices setup in the perfect order. She knew the story behind each one and quickly looked up some additional details on her phone when she wasn't sure. The bar is clean and spacious and full of light. Whiskies are arranged by family for easy identification. She described a "Black Manhattan" that sounded delicious, but I'll have to try that next time. Proof on Main makes the perfect place to treat your taste buds while waiting for a distillery tour. Slainte!“

We had an outstanding experience on this distillery tour! The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about both the history and the craft behind the spirits. The tour was well organized, offering a great balance of education, behind-the-scenes access, and tastings.
The facility was impressive, and it was fascinating to see the production process up close. The tasting portion was excellent, with plenty of opportunities to learn about the different flavor profiles and what makes each product unique.
Whether you're a whiskey enthusiast or simply looking for a fun and memorable experience, this tour is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!“
