“This is a must stop. We did the package with the slugger museum and it was a great deal. I give 4 stars because when we booked the tickets it put the two back to back and we had to leave a little early to make it to this. I recommend you put 30 minutes between the 2 or make this first and the bat museum second and come back for your whiskey. As far as the experience it was great. We learned a lot and whiskey is good yoi get 6 shots. We left with 2 bottles of our own blend. I highly recommend this if you like whiskey and you get 6 shots to start your day with.“

“Great offering of bottles, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Bottle your own was a fun experience to do. The tour was also great, despite being a relatively small area, it was engaging and informative. Atticus & Kristen were wonderful tour and tasting guides. I hope they get a raise.“

“After a long day of hectic travel we walked in no reservations and were seating immediately. Our server Abraham was attentive, knowledgeable and demonstrated what hospitality is all about. We felt taken care of and looked after. After our day of travel, this was exactly what we needed, and the food was excellent!!“

“We spotted this bottle shop while driving through Louisville and decided to pop in. Definitely a good call. The layout makes it super easy to browse, and the selection is impressive, especially if you’re into older age‑statement bottles or hunting for rare finds. The staff member on duty was straightforward and helpful, answering every question we threw his way.

If you’re in the area, it’s worth stopping in just to look around. We also wandered into the bar next door. Cozy, dimly lit, total speakeasy vibes. We didn’t stay for a drink, but it looked like a very cool spot.“

“My sisters and I were in town for a graduation at Ft Knox. We decided on this place it looked interesting. The food smelled delicious as we were being seated at our table. We had made reservations. Every other dinner guests were dressed nicely. The service at first was slow but then picked up once our waitress took our drinks order. We ordered the truffle parmesan garlic fries for apps. Good choice. I ordered shrimp and grits, my one sister ordered lemon ricotta ravioli and my other sister got a grilled chicken salad. Overall our meals were 8 out 10.“

“Our server was fabulous and the entire staff was friendly and efficient. The oysters were very good, bread appetizer was just ok, the crab Rangoon hush puppies were really good, the fish and chips were also good but not the best I've had, I'd rate them a 7 out of 10. My husband is a big fish and chips fan which is why we came so we could be rating them too harshly. We'd definitely go back and would love to try something else.“

“Awesome stop for a custom whiskey flight. I hit the jackpot with expert bartender CC, who took my request for a custom whiskey flight as a challenge and knocked it out of the park with three choices setup in the perfect order. She knew the story behind each one and quickly looked up some additional details on her phone when she wasn't sure. The bar is clean and spacious and full of light. Whiskies are arranged by family for easy identification. She described a "Black Manhattan" that sounded delicious, but I'll have to try that next time. Proof on Main makes the perfect place to treat your taste buds while waiting for a distillery tour. Slainte!“
