Alex asked if it was an allergy and I said yes, he proceeded to wipe everything down, change gloves, get clean utensils, and supervise his staff on how to safely prepare the sandwich. “I always order 3 mcalister club sandwiches and 4 bbq and 4 jalapeño chips every time. I usually never have a problem but today was just a mistake they missed up on my sandwiches and the blond young lady act like there was a problem with me. she treated me like I was dirty. I hate feeling miss placed in a place I eat 3-4 times a week and spends $30-$50 dollars every time. “McAlister's food is always good, especially their soups. Unfortunately, today was the exception. We had the potato and the broccoli and cheese soups and both soups were very thin and running. Usually McAlister's soups are rich, thick and hearty.Since I really enjoy their food, I'll try them again because I'm sure it was just a fluke this time.“

“I usually don't have anything critical or negative to say about McAlister's but the past two times we've gotten food there we've found some things lacking. "Spuds" that were very overdone and dry. Once was when we ordered delivery for 6 people (spent just over $100 so a leathery and clearly not-fresh potato was.pretty disappointing. Also my.cup of chili had quite a bit of gristle/small pieces of fat. I've never had that problem with chili from there before but it was extremely off-putting and I won't be getting the chili again any time soon. The tea, of course, is always perfect. I like unsweet, the rest of the fam prefers the sweet tea. Both are quite good. I didn't like the "pulpiness" of the lemonade but that's just a personal preference. Also I wish they'd bring back the orange-cramberry sauce for the turkey club sandwich.Kid-friendliness: Decent kids menu options.Parking: Plenty of parking.Dietary restrictions: Our family has long appreciated the option of veggie chili (we have two vegetarians in our household) as well as the gluten free bread (family member with celiac disease).“

“We were searching for a Subway in the area and went to Yelp. I first went to the one on Shelbyville Road but realized it was in Walmart and didn't want the hassle of parking - so I found this one not far away. The sandwiches are always good at Subway and this one was as good as the others. The people behind the counter were very helpful and very attentive to my order. I tried the new Hotshot Italiano and was very happy with it. My wife got her usual tuna and was very pleased with it.“

That wasn't an issue here because the gentleman at the counter, Dhaval, was incredibly empathetic and patient with our situation. The lady with red braids was patient, kind, and prepared excellent sandwiches. She took the time to chat for a few moments and shared that she chooses to make her job fun. Both people working in the dining room were cleaning. We enjoyed our meal and walked to the door. The young man said, “Miss! You forgot something!” I had accidentally left my wallet on the chair.
