“I should have been embarrassed to ask if there was any possibility I could hire Michaelis Events for help throwing a wedding together with two weeks’ notice. That’s not how I normally plan things! But Lauren Brown graciously heard me out—and my reasons for wanting/needing to “throw something together”— and agreed to take charge, while I dealt with multiple pressing family matters.

Not only did she just “take charge” but she gave me the wedding I had envisioned, but just did not have the luxury of time to plan. We had just lost a family member to a long illness in late April, among several other life milestones, including a cross-country move 6 weeks prior to suddenly deciding to have this event.

The Shrewsbury Windle House in historic Madison, Indiana was where we wanted to say ‘I do’ and to celebrate, and it was available only one day which worked for us and other family members for the next 6 months.

Lauren and her team did a phenomenal job pulling it off with perfection! The cuisine was top notch, the flowers exquisite and exactly what I wanted, the table and other decor was exactly the vision I described to her which complemented the old vibe of the house. But most importantly, she literally gave me the gift of not having to worry about a single thing. I actually got to enjoy the lead up and the day—completely.

I used to throw a lot of small, medium and large scale events in both Washington DC and Newport Beach California. Everything from large corporate gatherings to very formal dinner parties with former vice-presidents and top authors and other dignitaries. I knew the minute I met Lauren that she was a true professional who understood how to make my vision reality – – even in two weeks! My new husband and I intend to continue charitable and personal entertaining and she is now my go-to event planner! I clicked with her and her team instantly. We could not be more pleased to recommend them!“

“The folks at Crowler Catering are amazing. I’ve hired them for two events I’ve organized and attended an event just last night that they catered.The food is always very delicious. They created a cocktail just for our event at a past dinner. Everyone there is so easy to work with. From a small catered event to a large festival needing “Thirst Aid” (that’s the name of the converted ambulance they use to serve alcohol at events), I highly recommend Crowler Catering.“

From the start, Chef was very adamant on making sure that we got exactly what we wanted and sat with us multiple times to make sure that we were all on the same page. He was approachable, knowledgeable and extremely kind — genuinely a joy to work with. “Since Elderberry Provisions opened in April it has been my absolute go to place for carry out dinner, sandwiches and the ultimate selection of the most incredible desserts. Their brownies are to die for. The portions are incredibly generous across the board and well priced. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Everyone is given attention when you walk through the door. I absolutely would give them 10 stars if I could.“

“Crushed Ice catered the wedding rehearsal dinner for our son and his bride. Initially I felt overwhelmed because I was planning it long-distance from Louisiana. But Destiny and Shaylee were so easy to work with and communicated well and frequently, including a zoom call. All our needs were met, and my expectations were exceeded. The food was delicious, the layout was efficient and attractive, the staff was very gracious. Everyone, especially the bride and groom, were exceptionally complimentary of the services of Crushed Ice Catering. They tried to please us in every way and succeeded! Many thanks!“

“thank you Morris deli for not only the amazing food but also the best staff of all time we are all welcomed by everyone today i went in for the first time and a young lady was super nice took my order and made my sandwich I don't remember her name but she had a cast boot on her foot she was super Friendly and suggested many items to try she also up sells got me for three of the best brownies made. And a pound of pimento cheese which is the best I've ever tasted it's a one stop shop besides tobacco products but who needs that? amazing food and great staff thanks for the best food I've tasted from an ol' time man as myself that wishes we had more old fashion Country-style stores Morris deli and the wonderful young lady who helped me with my first experience today I'll definitely be there more often thank you all for the delicious food“

They were fast and easy to work with, good with suggestions and they had no problem meeting our needs. Their familiarity with our event venue made the whole process very seamless. “Dined here with a couple friends yesterday late morning/early afternoon for a quick lunch/brunch. Super cute spot. We were seated quickly and the waitress was friendly. After ordering, the portion sizes were HUGE. The cornbread and honey were spot on.

Unfortunately, the entrees weren't very flavorful. We were all a little disappointed in the taste and felt it was a little overpriced for the flavor being so bland. (We ordered avocado toast and the farmhouse biscuit).“

This is the best Chick-Fil-A I’ve ever had. Since they specialize in delivery/catering the food was all so fresh, made to order. My fries were crispy and perfectly salted. ? The chicken tasted super fresh and moist. My boyfriend got a salad and he thought the chicken ( grilled ) was better than usual. I got the fried nuggets and they were the same high standard freshness. It was fast, my order was ready about 3 minutes after it said it would be. The workers were polite and nothing was missing.

Parking: It’s a normal business lot. It’s a small building by a gas station that houses two business with a small but appropriate sized surface lot.“
